Antis in the jojo fandom are kind of funny to me because literally they hate the source material so so so much. You cannot bring up SBR around a group for antis without them bringing up how scared they are for lucy when the anime comes out 😭 or like they'll find any excuse to pull out the fact that we haven't had a single part without at least one depiction of SA & call araki weird for it as if it's not a fictional story that he made and you chose to consume

are people dumb how are people saying yani neko (chainsmoker cat) is romanticizing/glamourizing smoking 😭😭 the anime shows how miserable that catgirl's life is because she can't get rid of her smoking addiction, the anime shows how she barely has money because she spends everything in cigarettes, the anime shows her being the sloppiest she can be by living in an apartment full of trash (to the point it made her sister vomit in disgust) and also picking cigarettes from dog shit, the anime shows how a person can start acting once they're lacking nicotine thus appearing the symptoms of abstinence

genuinely i don't think anyone would look at that and go "shes so awesome,,, i want to live her life" no i think the anime want us to see how shitty her life is and how her addictions are one of the main reasons for this

alao even if it was glamourizing, i feel people are smart enough to say "this is fiction, i shouldn't nor smoke nor do drugs in real life", also i'm pretty sure everyone knows what the effects of nicotine and other addicting substances can do to someone too, from body to mind...
