Okay, so like, this is the exact same argument that "antis" use for EVERYTHING. black women being brutalized, women being brutalized in general, incest, etc. The idea that liking fictional abuse has some indicator on your real life morals is just not true, it is NOT a reliable indicator.
With that out of the way, It is not a race specific thing TYPICALLY for people who like these fics, they tend to just like seeing their faves abused no matter what, so it is unlikely there is a secret racist bias here. (I do find it funny that the types who complain about this are also the type who complain there aren't enough characters of color in popular ship rankings and things. like yeah that'll happen when you ensure they're put on a pedestal. they also tend to claim proshippers are racist because they allegedly only like white characters, yet they act like it is some kind of "gotcha" to see a nonwhite character with any dark tropes, so what do they really want???)
Also, at least from my experience and what I've seen, people who DO enjoy stuff like that and make it race specific are usually people of that race working through their own trauma, or just like to see a character like them being abused bc they self insert as the victim.
Unless someone is OPEN about writing these fics with a racist motivation, there is no way of knowing why they like it. If they are open about it then yeah, they're racist and should probably be avoided because of it, but there is typically no way of knowing, and we should not throw out the entire concept of including POC in kink and darkfic content because of the possibility of a racist person being behind it, that's how POC are talked over and pushed out of fandom spaces, and perpetuates the idea that everyone online is white.
