Doodles :'D
I was trying to make a comic about the hospital scene, where Goku would think about apologizing to see if it would lessen his wife's anger and frustration
but I was lazy :'D
some doodles about this:
I was watching Invincible and for some reason Mark and Oliver's dynamic reminded me a lot of Gohan and Goten
------------------
[Spoiler warning for the most recent season]
I really like the sequence of events and dialogues that occur when Oliver ends up killing a villain in order to save his older brother. The realization that Mark has when he realizes that there are flaws in the "no kills" speech and the similarity that little Oliver is having with his father is simply incredible.
-----------------
I'm terrible at making comics and creating dialogues, so the most I could get out of my head were these two frames without any lines, just Gohan as Saiyaman (Gohan's best phase, change my mind) and Goten looking like he did something wrong.
For me, this could be much more incredible
Gohan’a Growth.
Gohan is my favorite character of Dragon Ball when I heard this song I got like Gohan vibes. Especially when I found out it was about how our upbringing influences us the good and bad. Gohan got a lot of bad in his life like one of the few DB characters to actually experience trauma and anxiety 🤣 which the series only lightly touches. I feel like people try to think why Gohan is so okay after it all. Even though the way he grew up caused him all the pain the people he had gave him strength. He was able to grow up so great cause the good and bad. I just think it’s such a relatable thing about Gohan. Why a lot of people like him cause he was a scared child forced to deal with a lot but he managed to come up stronger. Which is inspiring! The best part he just chillin’ now! He’s not fighting no more he’s just being happy and everyone let’s him. I love that! Like everyone like oh well he already did it as a kid let him relax and be a happy person. Just love Gohan excited for his movie! I hope the animatic speaks for itself most of feelings I have cause I have a hard time explaining with words!
gohan is a good kid <3

they grow so fast...but not for Gohan
YOU SPIN ME ROUND
WE MISS YOU SENSEI!!
Creo que a pesar de que pasen los años Dragonball siempre sera una gran influencia en nuestras vidas.
I was watching the fight between Gotenks vs Majin Buu again and I realized that this arc of the boys' fusion has very interesting dialogues, which inspired me to do some doodles.
• This scene would be much more impactful if half of the arc wasn't focused solely on comic relief. The boys lost EVERYTHING at this point. Trunks lost his father, his mother, his grandparents, Goten lost his mother (he saw her die), his brother (he thought he was dead), his grandfather... and his father had to return to the other world.
Then Gohan appears like an unexpected miracle, and at that moment Goten fears, he really fears that Majin Boo will kill his brother. Goten tells Trunks that they needed to do the fusion again, to help Gohan, but Trunks uses the logic that they need to wait 30 minutes to do it again. Goten says, almost crying, that they need to at least try, because he doesn't want to see his brother die, he doesn't want to lose anyone else. Trunks responds (wonderfully) that he will fight alongside Goten, even if it is useless:
But we all know Gohan humiliates Boo lol (at least at the beginning)
Even though it wasn't so well constructed, thanks to the breaking of expectations due to the consecutive jokes, I thought this dialogue was very good.
• One of DB's most incredible characters was very present in this arc. Piccolo Daimaoh!
I ended up forgetting to take a screenshot of the dialogue, but basically the following happens: The boys have just returned from a frustrating attempt to defeat Majin Buu. After listening to a lecture from their mothers, Trunks and Goten have Piccolo's attention. Trunks then asks if he could surpass his father, saying that he wanted to protect the earth just like his father did. Piccolo puts his hand on the boys' heads and says they WILL surpass their parents.
So I knew I had to draw this scene:
I know that my main focus on this blog is Dragon Ball, and that posting something about Naruto is completely random, but I couldn't help but get upset once again with the classic character designs in Boruto. (lol)
And this time I was so upset that I ended up editing this scene from the anime, where I try to fix Iruka and make him look nice to me lol
I thought it was funny and felt like sharing it, sorry :")
• Original (look how they massacred my boy):
A scene no one talks about🥲
More gochi X Inuyasha!
I love them

[A thought about Gohan's transformation scene in the Super Hero movie. There will be spoilers for the scene]
Maybe I'm wrong in this thought, but recently I was seeing more about how Gohan became SSJ2 and how the scene was repeated in the Super Heros movie.
Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that Gohan has achieved a new transformation thanks to the possible glimpse of seeing his master, Piccolo, going from this to better. However, I can't deny the fact that this seems so simple or cliché. Dragon Ball now has, in my opinion, major problems with building narratives and scenarios, with giving the right purpose to these new powers reaching
Of course, wanting to be stronger, having a very overwhelming feeling of anger, among others, are reasons, but I don't know if they are good enough.
For Gohan's new transformation, I really wanted it to have something connected to 16's speech about protecting living beings and nature itself. When I visualized a scene in such a way, I almost got emotional
"The wild animals and the forests I loved... Don't let them be destroyed... Protect them for me..."
what if badrock and other saiyans escape to planet earth by taking his family and also prince vegeta for exlie?
Well, I believe that if the Saiyans had fled to Earth, humans would have met a terrible fate. Mainly considering the nature that Saiyans have, of dominating planets and being brutal.
It wouldn't be a good story for Earthlings, but it would be a new beginning for Saiyans, I think.
I don't know if Bardock would have adapted to planet Earth. If he would be one of the few to see the planet as a new home, along with humans, or if he would like to dominate everything and destroy Earthlings
It's good to remember that I'm considering the Saiyans presented in DBZ. I don't follow the dbs materials much, but I know there was a lot added to the Saiyans--
