"Field Drowned" is one of the three projects I am developing. Very often in my work, I switch from realism to a cartoon style because it more harmoniously conveys my ideas.

Overall, the marine theme appears repeatedly in my works. I am genuinely 100% immersed in this aesthetic.

Mermay day 3: Nishikigoi (koi)

Koi fish trace their lineage to the humble common carp, first domesticated in East Asia over a millennium ago. In 19th-century Japan, rice farmers began carefully breeding these carp for their rare and beautiful colorations, giving rise to the exquisite ornamental koi. A couple of my Rose Quartz sketches from the past few months. 💥💔🌹

Everything about her is just so enjoyable to draw. Curves are just fun!

We don't really get to see much of angry Rose so I made sure to include one of the angry ones here. While I don't have a specific backstory behind that sketch, I imagine she would look something like this during her confrontation with Bismuth. Or perhaps her getting fed up on the Battlefield and the mess she got herself into.
