Today's craft is Calm Down Jars! This is a quick, fun craft for smols that doesn't require any hot/sharp/toxic ingredients to make!! These sensory tools are perfect for sensory overwhelm, grounding or just if you like to look at pretty things! I keep mine on my desk for when I'm overwhelmed or need a moment to breathe between homework assignments. Sensory tools are important for everyone, especially autistic individuals like me!! So lets make calm down jars! Directions under the cut, happy crafting! ♡♡♡

Ingredients:
♡16oz jar (or whatever size you'd like!)
♡water
♡clear elmers glue
♡lots of glitter! different sizes and shapes of a similar color works the best, but you can pick whatever you want!

Directions:
♡wash your jar really well with warm water and soap then dry it
♡fill the jar about 20-30% with clear elmers glue! more glue equals slower glitter swirls!
♡fill the jar the rest of the way with water but leave a little room for glitter and to stir
♡pop the lid on your jar and shake shake shake the jar to mix the water and glue
♡next is the fun part! add all of your glitter! lots of glitter in different shapes and sizes gives you the best result, I even have unicorn shaped glitters in mine!
♡use a spoon to stir all your glitter in, pop the jars lid back on and shake for the beautiful glitter swirls! enjoy your calm down jar!
