Hello. Considerably strange news. I am thinking of picking Callsigns up and moving it permanently to Comicfury.
I encourage you foremost to try and convince me not to do this. Genuinely! The reason I feel inclined to move in the first place is because I believe Callsigns is doing poorly where it is. Prove me wrong with your words; I'm human, I need that reassurance.
However, if it does come to pass that I end up moving Callsigns off of Tumblr, I will have to start over. A good deal of the art assets I can reuse or repurpose, but I will have to go back to introducing every character again. Which means redoing every event. It probably won't take nearly as long because. I've already done all the hard work. But. Anyone coming around for round two would see a lot of things for a second time.
Additionally, I feel like it's been long enough that I can say "I'm going to make a Callsigns discord server" without it feeling like an act of naivety. So. Soon there will be a Callsigns discord, either for fan chatter and discussion or for making sure folks don't get lost migrating from Tumblr if I call it quits here. It would help me regardless to be closer to my community so I dont tweak out and feel like nobody cares about my project. And to actually ask folks when I should post my events next time maybe 🤪 so i dont choose a time everyone is inconveniently busy st the same time
In conclusion. I'm going to make some changes. I can only do as much as you encourage me to before I lose faith in my own project. Callsigns is for me, yes, but also for you. If you're not here, I'll go find people who will be. Don't be a stranger. Let's keep this ball rolling as long as we can. Thanks.
