The Prison

So a prison.

A place where I stay for hours on end

With no hope of return.

Because that is what my room is.

It isn’t messy or unkempt,

Because I have too many people watching me

To allow it to be so.

But if you dig,

If you search

The struggles,

The dependency,

The absence of joy.

Because the prison I made for myself
