she’s hunched over her laptop, the essay she’s been working on all day doing NOTHING for her exhausted mind & awful posture. it’s times like these where lexi doubts everything – wonders why exactly she’s putting herself through a degree in something she has no interest in. hearing footsteps approach behind her, she turns around once adelaide’s melodic voice reaches her eardrums, a welcome distraction from the cruel task ahead of her. ‘ sorry ade,’ lexi offers a small smile in solace, reaching out to the pull the brunette onto her lap. ‘ if it makes you feel any better, i’d rather be spending time with you than killing my brain over this damn paper,’ the blonde sighs in fatigue, tucking her face into the tan column of adelaide’s neck.

there’s still a pout plastered across her face, even after she was pulled onto lexi’s lap. “maybe you should give yourself a break, baby.” her cheek rests on the blonde’s head, dainty fingers moving away the strands of hair that covered her face. “i’d be such a good distraction if you let me.” adelaide teases with an innocent smile, her hands now sliding under the material that covered the other’s upper body. moving away slightly, plump petals press themselves against lexi’s own, “i think you’d want me to, hm?”
