I've been working on a Repo The Genetic Opera parody story for two years now, and I started publishing bits on Wattpad this year. I'm still actively writing it but I have the whole story planned out, but I need readers!! It was the year 2090, and Ziro Kettünfuer had his debts, but not from surgery. His wife, Ezmeralda Eloise, was a surgery addict, and she wasn't the woman he fell in love with. She kicked him out, seeing as he didn't love who "she truly was." With no money of his own and a daughter to raise, he turns to his old friend, Regan Rosstein, who was now the head of GeneCo.
"I can help you out, but you have to do something for me," Regan told Ziro, and slipped him a contract. A contract to work as a repoman.
He did his work as required so he could live, and as he and his daughter, Beau, grew she wanted to be just like him---tearing out organs and getting bloody! She thought her dad was the coolest person in the world, and that surprised Ziro.
"Daddy, Daddy! I wanna be a repoman too when I'm big!" She'd exclaim.
Ziro would smile at her, "You can be one day if it's what you truly desire, but wouldn't you rather aim to be on the screen, singing for the world?"
She didn't even need to think, "No! That's dumb, I wanna be a repoman!"
Ziro would laugh, "You'll make a great repogirl one day, but I think you're a bit young right now."
She would sigh, "Ooohkayyy," she'd sigh dramatically, then Ziro would roll his eyes playfully.
"Maybe in the near future you can be a repoman-helper by my side," and he'd kiss her head. This made her happy.
"Yeah, yeah! I'm gonna be a repoman like Daddy!" She'd jump around and flap her hands in joy. Ziro would just watch her and smile.
If only she knew what was to come from that choice.
