Names Christy as if you can't read, speaking of which, it happens to be my favorite hobby! I love to write, and well i have started plenty of stories. I can never finish them. Current favorite book happens to be the hunger games, i need to finish all of my other series i get started on. I have two book cases hand made by my pap, that are full, plus what i have on my nook! I love music! It can express words that you cant express yourself! I listen to just about everything from Oldies to pop! i don't listen to classical well i shouldn't say that i don't because well when i can't sleep i do. Writing! it helped me get through some tough times. I have some poems that i might put up if i can find them again!. I have stories that aren't finished i seem to write myself into a corner and can't get out of them. I love to rp with other people it kind of expands what i love to do out into the world.

Has anyone ever taken a pad or tampon out into the light of day only to have boys and grown men back five feet away? This shit is tip of the stigma iceberg that women experience for simply menstruating. How many of those products in the image can cause toxic shock or infections? How expensive are those products? How often do they need to be bought/replaced? These are real issues that affect our health, finances, and social/internalized perceptions of ourselves. Men absolutely REFUSE to acknowledge us for our biology when it’s not sexually appealing to them. They refuse to consider our mental and physiological health, and mock and silence us when we try to talk about it.

Not to mention the own stigma women have against it. My own mother dropped a tampon in a parking lot and nearly had a panic attack because she was worried someone had seen it. My mom, who has been married 20 years, raised me to be a feminist, escaped an abusive relationship and a life of drugs, who has raised two children while working a full time job, is embarrassed about having a period. If that isn’t fucked up then I don’t know what is. Men have literally made women hate themselves because of something so amazing. Our bodies are incredible and just because men don’t find it sexually attractive, means that it must be scorned. Never be embarrassed about your period because it only proves their ignorance.
