Regarding the timeline of The Mummy Returns: as an autistic person (who is now losing my sight due to retinitis pigmentosa but I will still continue watching it with audio description) who spent a good part of my childhood, adolescence, and now adult life researching The Mummy things, I can confirm that the timeline is a mess.

Not only because of Alex's age (8 years old), but in the film they mention in one scene that Americans (Burns, Henderson, and Daniels in Hamunaptra) died of the curse of the chest nine years ago. And on several official websites, including Universal Studios at the time, it said that The Mummy Returns takes place 10 years after The Mummy.

The Mummy franchise has several flaws, but I still love it very much. In short: in TMR Rick and Evy have been married for almost 10 years and continue to make out as if their lives depended on it. Good for them.

As many people already know, they are imposing on us now a rather uncomfortable and smelly file format WEBP Who wants to know the details, paste “WEBP” in the Tumblr search bar, now not about that.

How save pure GIF in Chrome? More on this below:

Open GIF which you want to download in NEW TAB (right click - “Open pic in new tab”) - we will need a direct link to this image.

In the address bar you will see the full path to the file, ending with letters .gifv

Delete the letter “V” from .gifv in adress bar and replace with “?“ sign, after that press “Enter“ - page needs to be refreshed!

Right click on picture and choice “Save pic as…”, in windows explorer - on the line with the file name, add at the end .gif and save your PURE GIF FILE!

I was watching the Luke Dale costume dress up as Hans Capon vid, and when they were walking around Karlštejn it was a bit sad they didn't research more about the location and this castle (as far as I could tell they didn't mention what made that location interesting except 'there's a castle'..) - especially when the kcd plot is largely about rescuing Wenceslas IV. from Sigismund, who were both sons of the emperor Charles IV.

There's lot of history around the castle (and I'm no historian), but I think the most important part is it was built from 1348 by the order of Charles IV, which means Hans (yes Hans, not Luke, ofc) would have probably know about it by the time of 1403 and some of its history - given how well learnt Hans was, in the game, about history and relations between different regions in Bohemia.

At least that's what i see from these pics - excited Hans on a trip to a castle, built by the father and emperor of his king, whom he and Henry still to need rescue.

Unpopular opinion but if you don't enjoy the process you should find a different thing to do.

And I think this is true in general but now I'm talking about it in the context of AI.

If you don't enjoy making art and only care about the end piece and how it'll look and how much traction it"lol get online then making art is not something for you, find something you enjoy from start to finish.

Same goes for writing: if you do not enjoy writing and rewriting and then some more and instead want AI to write for you, being a writer is not something you should pursue.

Sure, not every part of creative process is going to be equally enjoyable but you should get satisfaction from solving the problems along the way and you should get a sense of accomplishment on your way of "making the piece yours" and you should have a sense of ownership once you are done.

None of these things will come from typing in a prompt into chatGPT. And I am sad to see so many people are missing on the opportunity to experience the joy of making something with their own hands and brains.

Just give it a try and if you don't like it don't do it again.

But also don't let the expectations of it coming out perfect ruin the fun you are having while making the thing. Because what if I told you this: having fun while creating is the actual purpose of the creative process, not whatever comes out of it.
