       ▽ ‘ﾟ —   " Ugh -- .. BD? Stim ..? " Well a stim was good to get you back on your feet when adrenalin didn’t do the trick but not quite for the agony that was a too-close-a-call strike from a bolt. He can’t deflect all of them back when they come all at once --

“Depends on what you’re askin’ for…”

Hands worked, fingers twisting and bending as circuit cards lit up with activity. He plugged one into the silver coding box beside him, left hand typing a list of codes while the right twisted the optic lens back into place. “They really banged you up, didn’t they, buddy ? Don’t worry, I can fix it.” Screwdriver tucked between his teeth, he turned to check the screen, fingers still coding, while the other hand quickly moved to balance the droid before it stumbled.

Leaning back on his stool, he looked up from his work, a digit lifting to nudge his goggles up from wide, brown eyes. Hm. He didn’t know this one, but he seemed… different. Cautious, Hiro glanced back down, working on drilling the droid’s armor back into place.

“I can fix anything. But, it’s gonna cost you if you’re lookin’ for something illegal.”

        ▽ ‘ﾟ — “ Huh .. depends on what you think ‘illegal’ means. ” That was a huge buffer better saved for later. Thankfully so his means of business was innocent really. It can be solved by most expert hands when it came to droids, but the subject was incredibly sensitive .. to him at least. After all droids were made of incredible AI and metal were hardy to say the least -- but this droid was special to him. Can’t put it to just any hands.

And BD-1 gave a few ‘ bo-beeps ! ’ when Cal finally assessed Hiro enough for the better part of his judgement to show him. In his hands the droid clicked and whirred patiently.

“ Scomp link is busted. I gave a temporary fix but I don’t think it’s going to keep for long. ” The limp foot on the droid hung from it’s leg. 

       “ I don’t think that’s too illegal. ”
