This thought is so specific to people who own animatronics.

Do you believe your version of a character is a doppelgänger of many clones (or brother/sister??) or do you believe your version of a character is the definitive, and every other version is just idek, someone playing them as a role?

Kinda like how the fandom can differentiate “Volo’s Beach Bear” or “BBWL’s Mitzi”, even “*insert collector’s name* character. There is differentiations between the same character across their appearances.

I really just be waking up with the most important questions in life, like am I fr rn? 😭 Anyway, to answer my own question, my version of a character is the definitive of them in my mind. I do not have the same connection to other versions of the same character. I still enjoy seeing them, and it’s not that I think no other version looks good, it’s that they just are not who I think of in my head when I think of the character as if they were sentient.

The other day, someone asked me, "Why wolfman specifically? What drew you to him?"

While I don't think anyone's asked me that here, I thought it'd be nice to share my experience on why he's my hubby n allat.

As far as I remember, I enjoyed listening to all the beta/early rockafire showtapes before I ended up finding about the Antioch WP5 showtape.

Idk. when I saw wolfman, comparing him to rolfe (who was my personal favorite back then), he just struck out to me. His voice (SPECIFICALLY LITTLE DARLING), the personality of a cool announcer, and his constant remarks just made me fall head over heels for him.

I think it's obvious by then but I kept thinking that there were waaay too many rolfe lovers in the fandom so I just went with "fuck it. I prefer wolfman." and I just stuck with it.
