“Black’s gaunt face broke into the first true smile Harry had seen upon it. The difference it made was startling, as though a person ten years younger were shining through the starved mask; for a moment, he was recognizable as the man who had laughed at Harry’s parents’ wedding.”

This is another one of my favorite parts of Prisoner of Azkaban, especially the description of Sirius’ smile. Every time I cry my eyes out!😭
I’ve re-read the prisoner of Azkban for the 5421665423578 time and every time Is like the first. I decided to make a comic about this part of chapter 12 (The Patronus) because with a few phrases I really feel Harry and Remus sadness an the emotion about the loss of James (and Lily as well). I can’t image how difficult it must have been for Remus not to be able to tell Harry everything. So, here it is a full-of-feels mini comic! Sorry, i’m getting emotional lately!
Gymnastics has come a long compared to that old footage, but this difference is particularly significant for black girls! Because they have never taken seriously our abilities! Just because the color of our skin is not what they want to see!
Simone Biles’s fantastic performance has been covered by many news outlets all these years! Now we can see the real difference!

It’s like a metaphor of what millenials have to do to get jobs vs baby boomers lol
I was debating whether to reblog but that last comment did it for me
I have long said that in order for any comedy to truly succeed as a story, there has to be meat beneath the jokes. There has to be that moment when it is not funny any more.
This. This is that moment.
#honestly even though this is one of the best scripts there ever has been #that is the greatest line #it’s /groundbreaking/ in terms of how it frames vengeance quests; temptation beats; inigo as a comedic figure throughout the movie #you know because this is a happy book (film) that inigo will get his revenge #but will he get JUSTICE #will he get ABSOLUTION #will he get CATHARSIS #those are the things we don’t know #and that line sells it more than any of the previous scene (x)
well now I’m crying
I’M NOT CRYING YOU’RE CRYING
Best movie ever!

Tuesday, 29 December 2020 will culminate a day that will be marked forever in the country’s history with the legalization of abortion in Argentina. With 38 votes in favor and 29 against, the country passed the Bill in the Senate legalizing safe abortion procedures. It took years of work for the National Campaign for the Right to Safe, Free and Legal Abortion, as well as feminist and LGBTQ movements for the project to be approved. Argentina puts itself on the map of a safer and more fair country, as legalizing abortion eliminates the necessity of clandestine procedures. 💚

Some fairy tales are true, most of there stories we make up to help us deal with real life; it all depends on your point of view, but here are the facts… there was once a princess, who lived in a castle, high above the streets of an enchanted kingdom. The king and queen were long gone but they left her with a treasure, that she would stay a princess forever. On the eve of her 22nd birthday a great celebration was planned…

“What you’re going to see on the screen are the designs and pictures and stories that music inspired in the minds and imaginations of a group of artists. In other words, these are not going to be the interpretations of trained musicians, which I think is all to the good.”
