That's a little disappointing, that the plan is that they stopped looking for enemies.
I was surprised that it hit Fury at first, but when we first saw them use this on Fury, everyone else had to be wearing a helmet so it didn't hit them too!!
The drawing of Fury's face does a good job of showing his own pain, but he's willing to die for his cause! Mentallo isn't!
They attach him to a bomb, and then remove the mask? But why? They could control him, why do this?
Will thinking of a song block Mentallo from reading his mind?
Oh! The song is a mental signal to the ESP sensitives! That's really cool! When a problem is solved by a reveal of a new piece of technology, that's boring, but this kind of reveal is fun!
I looked up the song, I wonder if anything's going matter about the actual lyrics, or is it just that it's about going to fight for liberty?
Hydra captured Fury, and SHIELD just accepted his death!
Mentallo, a mind reader, thinks that kidnapping him will make the whole organization obey him!
I like these scenes with a bunch of stuff happening! It shows how big SHIELD actually is!
He just needs to recharge! I think Tony Stark's role in these comics as not Iron Man is great, but it's fun to see a piece of Iron Man's lore getting involved too!

Howard Purcell doesn't have a long history with Marvel, this is his second comic, and the first was in 1941, but he did a lot of DC comics.
This comic is really boring! Mentallo's psychic powers aren't important, he just occasionally points to the weakest part of something so the Fixer can use his series of incredible inventions to instantly destroy it. The idea of a psychic villain for a spy story was fun, but this is disappointing!
And it looks like SHIELD was defeated! Honestly, it doesn't look like it was very hard!
This is another thing made by the Fixer! Mentallo could have been replaced with a map! Or a radar device!
This issue gets one star! I was interested by Mentallo, but this was all about the Fixer instead!

That's funny, Jack's cover art was so big and detailed, they didn't have enough room to fit a title! There's also nothing about Dr. Strange, except his face on that thing in the top left. Do they have a name?

I haven't mentioned it, but in addition to leaping, he kicks through walls all the time! He's got superstrength somehow, even if the comic hasn't said it!
Okay! I think the reason he attacked Batroc was that he blamed him for hurting the woman, but honestly, I don't think it's justified. And it's weird that Stan put in that note!
It would be crazy if she did die! But that's the explanation! He still should have gone after them first, even if it's not as bad as it could be!
This issue gets four stars! It's still good, but not quite as good as the first part!
And I have a new favorite character and avatar in Batroc the Leaper!

Art gets a nice one, but Johnny Romita did a bunch of comics in the golden age, and it looks like he's going to do a bunch again, so he's here to stay!
It's always funny what parts writers put in another language.

I can't believe it, but I think this issue gets five stars? I liked the stuff with Steve Rogers, this plot seems cool, and Batroc is a fun villain who switches sides when he's in danger!
