oh my gosh seeing you answer asks now....i love your spirit. you sound like such a sweetheart! i hope all that love comes back to you all the time ^_^ and can i ask what movies you like?
This is cute! Thanks!!! Most RECENT movies I saw and loved…Whisper of the Heart (1995) and The Last Black Man in San Francisco (2019)…O.K not much I know. I’m inherently spurred by novels and poetry rather than film, but this past winter, movies were my half-way Queen. This winter I watched and loved:
Happy Together (1997), Chungking Express (1994), Beach Rats !!! (2017), The Lure (2015), The Iron Giant (1999), The Dark Crystal (1982), Holy Motors (2012), A Trip to the Moon (1902), Dead Poet’s Society (1989) yes I was late, Kicking and Screaming (1995), The Wolf House (2018) which was a beautiful experience!!! but I watched it on Mubi now can’t find it anywhere. If anyone knows, spill!!
I don’t remember them all…
I watched Moonrise Kingdom (2012) at a screening back in my smoking days…I was SO high so don’t know if I’d feel differently sober…but the colors amazed me in a forever way. I don’t mind “slow” movies if they speak
Call Me By Your Name I watched 4x in theatres, but that was two winters ago, when I was living alone in a big silver city…I have a bad attachment to the book. Elio was so investigative in the book! Like me, almost neurotic, second-guessing everything. Time passed and really hurt him, which I related to and relate to still. I love this sentence when a poet in Rome tells the dinner table, “…I wake up on freezing nights and want nothing more than to throw on a sweater, rush to my desk, and write about the person I know no one knows I am…” (191, 192). That wasn’t in the movie but I still loved it hard. Though, Armie did not pass for 24 in my eyes…
Writing this I realized I have been a lazy movie-goer. Time to get to it. Please if you have recommendations, feed me

just curious- what medium is ur work in?
It is digital, made in Photoshop :-)
Is your art scanned or is it completely drawn out? It looks phenomenal
Scanned!!! Drawing is not good to me and I am not good to drawing. In fact, drawing probably hates me...Thank you. The word “phenomenal” applied to stuff my hands made blows my brain...Thank you
Kiki! I love your art. I was wondering if you had any specific inspirations?
in terms of art, no not right now. but truly I love love love Marlene Dumas. the magic of her is pure pleasure for me, so maybe that is an inspirationin terms of life, yes! Many. 1. this gel pen 2. absolutely the 2017 movie Beach Rats3. my Little Wings playlist4. Anne Sexton’s Complete Poems (OH MAN!!!)5. Banana Yoshimoto’s novel Kitchen (favorite book of the month. I CRIED)6. Moving Up A’ Ways by Robbie Basho7. the sky right now8. my tiny June playlist9. coffeeeeeee iced or hot whatever10. movie theaters 11. Bonobo, specifically Dismantling Frank, Silver and Super 8
would <3 to know everyone’s daily inspirations
What's your technique !! It is so beautiful
listen, I am glad you asked, and I’m glad you said beautiful, as I always feel awkward and weird about it—my technique, anyway, not the final picture. though sometimes the final picture. I’ve got no real technique. at least nothing I have memorized. if I make pictures close in time, then they often look alike, bc I will repeat the same things without thinking. but if I wait a week to make something new, then I forget and it’s a whole new starting over. begin again! Annoying bringer of stage fright. But often fun. If not fun, i don’t do it. i usually do what my hands want. or what my eyes feel like eating. I am rambling because i am tipsy. hmmmm technique. Photoshop, always many layers, always a brush on blend mode, often gradient maps, always noise 10-40px, forever threshold layers <3 This is the worst answer. I’m sorry for my worst answer. feel free to ask for clarification. will answer when not on whiskey. Mwah xx
do you have a favourite artist?
ya! Marlene Dumas & Peter Doig
these two are crazy good at what they do…and I like work like that, where the colours are perhaps sometimes unnatural; feels like dreams
Are you straight?
Of course not
