Arthur Jermyn - Digital. Nominated for a @spectrumfantasticart award in the Book Category. This piece is an illustration based on the tale by the same name by H.P. Lovecraft. Readers already familiar with the tale will notice this is not a literal scene of the book. When I was approached for this project, I wanted to expand upon the readers perception of the text, be more abstract than narrative to create a suitable atmosphere for the horror unfolding, much like I did with "The King in Yellow". I don't want to describe what is already written but add another layer of meaning to it. The more diverse views, the more richer our experience is.
