I still think it’s wild that he hasn’t approached YOU yet.” Then again --- - with Marinette’s nerves, would either form of approach work? ( Oh, how funny, coming from a girl who could barely string a sentence together until she got to know Marinette better. ) The mention of Chloe makes the girl’s nose wrinkle. “Chloé is also, so far, the LEAST credible person in class that I can see. Who trusts the words of demon princess incarnate?”

SHE’S JUST about to apologize, jogging after the elusive dog and all, when she spots just who he’s decided is his new best friend for the day. “Oh, god, I’m so sorry--- -” Zara breathes, the hand that doesn’t hold her camera steady against her chest instead propping her up on a bent knee. Was it really him? SERIOUSLY? Zara reminded herself to give George all the bacon he wanted when they got back to their room. “Georgie just loves meeting people, I’m sorry if he sprang up on you.”

“I MUST say, I’ve heard of the sanctuary, but there’s nothing quite like seeing it for yourself.” The woman lifts her hands to re-do the bun atop her head for the umpteenth time, halfway cursing her decision to keep her long hair, halfway attempting to give herself a distraction from conversation making. “Tell me --- - how many tigers are under your care, now?”

also: does anyone else FEEL the emotions of their character as they write or draw or act it out, ie if you’re writing a scene and your character cries then BOOM you start crying and if your character is angry then BOOM you’re in a furious rage

RELIEF FLOODED the girl’s features as she gingerly took her seat, bag sliding from her shoulder to reside against the leg of the chair. This girl had appeared to be one of the far NICER members of her class ; thankfully, Zara’s intuition didn’t appear to be wrong. “Oh--- - yes, Zara Mauverr.” She, albeit awkwardly, lifts her hand to offer a handshake. ( C’mon, Zig, get it together. ) “Forgive me, but your name.... ? Mari, is it?”

THE THREAT makes the dog bark out a short laugh, arms folding and feet planting. Oh -- now she WOULDN’T move, out of sheer SPITE. ( Chloe brought out the best -- or was it the worst? -- in her, it seemed. ) A mayor and hotel tycoon could only hold so much power. “Forgive me, but have you ever READ an academic journal before?” Zara’s chin juts upwards, defiant and eager to meet the dangerous challenge laid out before her. “It would take a LOT more influence for scientists to care about a spoiled daddy’s girl.”
