Pokemon Trainer

My name is Einarr, and I'm a trainer from Ecruteak City in Johto. I'll be documenting my progress and studies. Feel free to ask me anything.

It's been a long day.

Ari stayed with me in the morning. We had breakfast with the professor and his assistants, and then it lead up to getting my first new pokemon.

It's been a while since I've caught or even battled a pokemon, since I've gotten and trained a newcomer. I looked over the trio the professor was letting me pick from carefully. I wasn't too interested in who was the strongest, but more interested in who I would bond easier with. I choose a rather calm Totodile, but even being a little guy he still thinks he's all tough.

Ari left afterwards, and I headed to some of the fields outside of town to get back into the grove of things. It wasn't too bad, and we seem to be fairly good with each other. I've worn him out now, so we're headed back to town to eat and rest.

New Bark Town

We arrived tonight finally. The professor is going to show us around and then we're getting dinner.

Ari's going to stay the night with me, and tomorrow morning I'm getting my pokemon I'm going to be starting with. Ari will head home in the truck, and I'll be on my own then.

I think I'm more nervous about being alone, then getting my pokemon..

A New Beginning

This is a new beginning for me.

I suppose I should start by telling you a bit about myself. I'm Einarr, and I've lived all my life in Ecruteak City. I've never really considered being a trainer before. I've always helped out my older brother, Ari, who is a breeder of sorts. He helps people better understand their pokemon needs, and handles difficult cases of clashes between pokemon and trainer.

I've been learning from him rather then going on a journey, enjoying the comfort of home. Recently, a professor in the region has contacted us to see if one of us would help him in studying pokemon.

Since Ari has gone out on a journey already when he was younger, he elected I go. He's driving me down to New Bark Town right now. I admit, I'm a bit nervous. I'll be by myself, and without pokemon that I usually work around. Ari wants me to start with a completely fresh start. A new beginning, in his words.
