This, however, took the title and ran with it. He had never seen a train of hair so long before, nor had he ever seen it seemingly move the way hers did. He leaned forward, trying to see the length of hair and find any possible hints that it was, in fact, fake. Finding none, he leaned back and looked at the young woman with wide, curious eyes.

“How do you even walk around with all of that hair? Doesn’t it get in the way?”

“Weirder than mine?” She asked with a laugh, genuinely curious about it. Her whole life she’s thought her hair was a unique anomaly, and even though it may still be so, it was fun to entertain the idea that there were stranger sets of hair somewhere out there.

“Sometimes, yes.” Rapunzel continues, answering his question. “You wouldn’t believe the ammount of times I’ve tripped over it or accidentally gotten it tangled in something. You get used to it though, I can’t imagine a life without it.”

“It’s no problem! I couldn’t leave a lady in distress. It’s not my style.” Besides, a tower couldn’t be that hard to find. He was kinda curious why she traveling to a tower, but it really wasn’t any of his business.

Crossing his arms, Zidane gave it some thought. “The area the tower is in, what’s it like?”

“Well, that’s very thoughtful of you.” She laughed, genuinely grateful for his help, even if she was a little nervous from receiving said help from someone she didn’t know.

“It’s a clearing, hidden in a valley. The only way in is through some vines that cover the entrance to a tunnel that leads straight to it. Does it ring any bells?”

What up, peeps! I’m almost to 530 followers here, so I thought I’d make a little shout-out post this morning to some of my partners/followers here and spread a little love! There have been many ups and downs during my time on Tumblr, but in that time I’ve made some real, honest friends around here who have my back and believe in the best of me. @thebrcins / @fablesuntold - I love this person so much that it hurts. The fact that they opened up a Leah blog because of me makes me feel so honored, and they do a tremendous job with all of their other muses as well. Super friend, amazing Mun, and a pure cinnamon roll.

@tmxmory - I haven’t threaded with Maya for awhile, but I want her to know she’s always in my thoughts and I always make sure to see if there’s anything Ozzy can jump into on her blog. And she’s such a sweetheart, and I always enjoy seeing her on my dash!

“Well, I’m on my own most of the time, so I have to.” Rapunzel admitted, surprised at how easy it was to talk to the stranger. She was so nice though, she just couldn’t help it.

“Really?” She asked, absolutely delighted by the compliment. “That’s really kind of you, thank you!” The corners of her lips curled upwards in a wide smile that spread across her face. She liked this girl. “I’m Rapunzel, by the way. What’s your name?”

Examining his surroundings, the white lion grimaced with clueless frustration. This was definitely NOT Panjas jungle. Every tree, every blade of grass, every bird passing by was completely foreign to him. Getting lost like this was starting to become a habit for the wildcat… an annoying one. He really needed to make a mental note to not go wandering so far from home again. But naturally, he wouldn’t.

At the sudden inquiry , Leo visibly jolted and turned to face the girl who addressed him, taking on more passive body language to indicate he wasn’t a threat. He paused for a moment, looking a bit pensive, before appearing to nod— seemingly understanding her question.

It was strange to see an animal of his kind out here in the forest, especially so young. Where was his family? Seeing the poor thing all on his own, Rapunzel had quickly rushed over to check on him.

The lion cub seemed to nod in response to her question, but Rapunzel shrugged it off as coincidence. It was impossible for an animal to understand human speech, right? Even more so to answer.

“Are you hungry, little guy?” She cooed at him, leaning forward as she got a better look at him.

Hands sprung up, palms empty and open to signify that he came peacefully took a step back into a wall. ❝ Hey, now, ❞ he said, one brow arching high on his forehead as teal eyes glanced back and forth between the heavy skillet and the girl with INSANELY long blonde hair. ❝ I’m not here to hurt you, okay? Put it down. ❞ For a moment, he looked around to try to find a way to escape should he need to, not feeling inclined to attack someone with a FRYING PAN as a weapon when he had a proper Keyblade.

However, from the look of things outside the sole window of the tower, he could tell that ground was not… close. How then could this girl get out? Brows furrowed now as he glanced back at her, the fingers on his left hand curling in, leaving his index finger up, ❝ Promise. ❞

Much to her surprise, the stranger shrinked back from her threat. Odd. Rapunzel had been expecting him to attack her first chance he got. At least, that was what Mother had always told her someone would do if they ever got into the tower.

He said he meant her no harm, and she almost believed him. If he’d wanted to hurt her, he probably would have done so already. A skinny girl with a frying pan wasn’t much of a threat for someone after magic golden hair.

She lowered it slowly, though she still kept a very frim grip on it. She would test him, see what he was here for and why.

“Who are you?” She began, brow lowering. “Are you here for my hair?”

A small part of Xeha was still hesitant to have this woman accompany him to Corona, he didn’t want to be responsible for even more people getting hurt! But he was empathetic towards Rapunzel. At least when he lived on the Destiny Islands, he wasn’t confined to essentially one room. This poor girl barely had any space to herself.

She needed some fresh air and to feel the grass between her toes, just like he had.

“I suppose we could.” He gave her a tiny grin.

“Now, would you like assistance getting out? I don’t know how I feel having you climb out the window all by yourself…and my way of travelling way is unsettling to most others.”

She laughed and shook her head. It was a sweet gesture, and one she definitely appreciated, but still unnecessary. She stepped towards the window and pointed to the hook that hung over the windowsill. “I have my way, too.”

Though she was very curious about his own method of travel, she opted not to pry. For the moment, at least. Right now all she wanted was to start the journey as soon as possible, should Xeha still change his mind.

“I’ll wait for you at the bottom!” She called out after looping her hair around the hook and jumping out without a moment of hesitation, grabbing on to her hair and sliding down. Rapunzel loved the feeling of joy that tickled her stomach whenever she did this, though this time, knowing she was finally going to see Corona, it felt like this joy was doubled, maybe even tripled! It felt wonderful.

Sooner than she’d liked, her feet reached the ground.

“Want to try?” She called back up to the tower, wide grin spread across her features.
