oh , the master’s interns. athena couldn’t stand them. they were too eager , too pestering , too inadequate & not out of her way enough. the last thing athena wanted was someone in her face about anything & interrupting her trying to make an exit to eat her lunch elsewhere. “ first of all , pointing is fucking rude. mind yourself & use the manners that you just so happened to forget a moment ago. ” athena’s instantly squinted at the familiar face. of course an intern that she worked with in the fashion department was acting like a mosquito when all she wanted to do was get time away from them. “ second of all , you need to make it fucking quick. because i think i just remembered the long list waiting for you when you get back that needs to be done before you leave today. marrisa’s orders. so , be a good little intern & hurry back , parsley. ” a condescending tone apparent in athena’s voice as she snapped her manicured fingers at the intern. obviously there wasn’t some freakishly long list of tasks that needed to be done , but she didn’t need to know that. & it wouldn’t take that long to write one up either.
Damn, Paisley thought. The fucking absolute nerve of these people that worked here. First some broody asshole was swearing at her and now this bitch-- Paisley had to mentally tell herself to calm down, since there was no need for an episode in the middle of the lunch room. “Last time I checked pointing wasn’t as rude as snapping at someone who was only asking you a question, and I’m not sure angrily dropping the F-bomb three times in a row is really appropriate,” She countered-- and sure, Paisley was quite the potty mouth herself, but there was a difference between casually swearing and angrily swearing at someone for virtually no reason. “I get that you’re like, probably compensating for how small and petite you are by acting like a raging bitch, but I promise you that it’s not necessary. I think you know my name is Paisley and maybe next time instead of trying to dangle your weak authority over me as an intern, you can just say ‘hey, I’m pretty busy and I don’t feel like talking right now, have a nice lunch!’ -- you know, a pretty easy, generic, and straightforward way to get away from someone without being a mean cunt. I didn’t realize being an intern here meant that I would have to teach several people about mature conversational and communication skills, but apparently I do. Just because someone is annoying you or you don’t like them doesn’t mean you can just sound off on them. It’s pretty easy to be cordial and short with people.”
