The First Glance ♥
I walked into my hostel hoping to see him, but quite obviously not when I was in my gym clothes half sweaty and grimy and messy. Chatting away on my phone, I walk through the passage to enter the crowded common room to meet a friend, only to find the entrance blocked. I try to go from side to side, trying to get my way in, still busy on my phone when I heard my name. I look up with annoyance, only to find this 6ft tall, thin, lean, cute boy in a checked shirt, ill fitting jeans, hot glasses and messy hair with a random smile plastered on his face.
I saw his face. I knew that face. He seemed so familiar that it seemed funny how I just couldn't recall him at that moment. It was as if I suddenly had Amnesia. Eventually my pea sized brain functioned and I knew who it was. I never imagined I'd meet the guy while he looked like that. The change in him was insane. From this chubby, annoying typical karama wannabe teenager, he had transformed into something hot, well not exactly the hot types. But if you compare the two versions heck yeah you'd say he's hot now.
Flustered we exchanged pleasantries and our numbers and spoke the usual stuff one talks about when they meet after an 'oh-so-long' time. We part and he goes back to practice while I settle on one of the stools in a corner.
The next 5 minutes I spent in the room were the most awkward 5 minutes for me and maybe for him too. I don't know how and why, but I just couldn't take my eyes off him. Thinking that I probably must be freaking him out, I quietly slip away and leave the room with his face plastered in my head...
