Ah, this delightful boy that they could swear caught one of alternia’s moons in his smile. They laughed as they hugged him back, head whirling, giddy as they were snatched up into the air. Zee smiled in that charming, calm way they were so known for, nudging their forehead against the bigger troll.

“Aw, listen at you, lookin out for me.” They teased squeezing his hand and following. “May have just caught myself what is a travelin cold. It’ll be aight, though. Haps it is you can just kiss it better.” In truth, their calm voice had gotten quite the work out in nights past. They needed to get away and let the devils out someway. Better no one be wise to such things, though.

“Let’s get to bakin. Gonna get telling you about a new prospect I got an ogle on of.”

“Of course I’m looking after you! You’re so important to me, you know that.”

He kisses their forehead, fulfilling their request for kisses before turning to grab some honey and tea out of one of the kitchen cabinets.

“Travel sickness, you say? Well, we can’t have that! I’ll make something, with lemon and honey. I hear that helps a sore throat! Then we’ll start baking.”

He hums as he travels to the other end of his modest kitchen to pull out a tea kettle, then all the way back to fill it with water. He enjoyed being home and doing normal things like this, feeling like it was meditative to go through such mundane tasks.

“Prospect you say? You know I’m always for a bargain! Tell me about this, prospect.”

"Mm, if that's how y'all is insistent we done it then." They sighed, letting themselves be pampered. They leaned on the counter, watching the other intently. It was nice having a casual night of domestic life after all they had been through. They had an agenda to attend to, however.

"When we were out doin a paledate with that maroon blooded chica, we ran into a sweet as fuck lil charmer her spade was totin with him. Think you spoke to them some on tumblr. Kat ringin the memory bells for you?" They got straight to the point of the matter, since they did like business out of the way quickly.

King nearly charged into the room with his transporter, reaching to scoop Mama into a big bear hug. Seeing them again made him grin so wide that his cheeks hurt!

“I wouldn’t dream, of starting without you! I just gathered up some things, so we can get all settled in.”

He pulled back to look at them, fussing a bit. He did want to make sure they were okay, of course. He had been thinking about how leaving for so long may not have been the best idea; he couldn’t keep up with the pappers to keep them protected!

“You look so nice, but you’re sounding a little rough around the gills. I can get you some tea, if your throat hurts, at all? Are you sick at all?”

He smiles at takes Mama’s hand, leading them out into the living room. If they were sick, they were going to get the coddling of a life time!

“But, if you feel okay, we can get started on the cake, and you can tell me, all that you need to!”
