Everything is so rushed. People in their twenties complaining about being old, sped up songs, sped up videos, too many things to do in such a short time. We have lost the art of lingering.

Today, 54 unidentified Palestinians were buried in a mass grave. Fifty-four souls were completely erased—corpses so mutilated and tortured that their names were no longer known. This is what Gaza has become. A place where even the dead are denied their dignity, and where the living—like us—are left struggling to survive in what resembles a cemetery of dreams. Every day, I look at my children and wonder how much longer they can endure. How long can I protect them from a world that has turned its back on us?

We are trying to leave Gaza. Not because we've stopped loving it, but because we want our children to live, to dream, to sleep without fear. Please, if you can, support us, share our story, and help us find a way out.

I think it's time to exchange "you can only grow when you're uncomfortable" with "you can't grow without sometimes being uncomfortable, but you can't thrive without also experiencing safety and comfort." Getting better isn't supposed to be a process of constant suffering. We shouldn't aim for a state of constant discomfort in the name of growing as a person, and if you're deeply uncomfortable all the time then something is probably really wrong

I don’t even know how to express both the relief and shame in seeing a ceasefire occur now, after all this death and suffering. It didn’t have to be this way. The genocide in Gaza has been practically live streamed for two years and still the world turned its back on the people there. This ceasefire is only the beginning of what will surely be a long fight for a free Palestine and the return of its people. We all need to have hope and, most importantly, do more.
