The first time i thought about killing myself is when one of my cats died.

I was 12, and everyone in the house was really sad, and I wasn't. And I was scared because I didnt feel sad

So I skipped dinner a few nights after cause (despite the fact that im not religious in the slightest). I was praying through tears to god to kill me and bring the cat back to make everyone happy again.

Because I thought no one would miss me, since clearly I was a bad person since I didnt feel bad.

And my dad heard me begging to die so everyone would be happy again and never said a word to me

Turns out I just needed to process the loss a little longer than everyone else, I did feel sad about it a few days later. But I dont think that changes much
