I'd actually really like if we got a Disney world trailer at D23 and it WASN'T SW because I'd love it if KH showed up at SW Celebration next year
Completely delusional? Yeah. But I LIKE SW Celebration a lot, so it would just be a bonus

The saddest thing about that being the Moana Keyblade (and I'd bet on that) is that Moana and Elemental are different enough stories that both of them could work on the same game just fine, but not when the Moana Keyblade is fire/water themed kkkkkk
Tho I guess maybe Elemental was after the cutoff (though Big Hero 6 came out after KH3 was announced)
As the resident "Elemental" lover--I still haven't seen it -shot---do you, personally, think the new Keyblade in the KHIV trailer is pointing at it, Moana, or maybe even something else?:)
I'm. A bit unsure about it. I think lava has more to do with Moana than Elemental (Elemental deals with glass as Ember's thing), HOWEVER I also think the Keyblade fits Elemental more. Not sure my mind would go to fire/water as the theming for a Moana Keyblade
I'd bet on Moana, but I'd be REALLY happy with Elemental
Manifesting something at D23. Been a while since they did videogame panels that weren't for one specific videogame but one can dream! Or they could do a whole kh4 panel lol
Been so long since the first trailer that I don't even remember if we'd already seen that Sora's blocking move has changed to barrier
Being a Xehanort fan means I don't know what losing is
Kingdom Hearts truly is the heart's true essence
Really nice that no one was really speculating KH4 news in this Nintendo Direct because apparently we needed to pretend we didn't care for it to show up lol
So many thoughts. So long since I've had KH thoughts
XEHANOOOOOOOORT
This ff7 run I'm trying to fumble Aerith and Tifa to see if I can get Barret as my date without a guide (which I'll probably fail at, but it's being fun)
I'm playing ff7 again and FINALLY had the patience to do the Cloud dress thing fully
Still thinking about Xion talking about drowning, the ocean is frequently tied to Sora's past in Days.
Roxas has a flashback to Sokai when listening to the seashell, Xion constantly compares remembering Sora's past to a feeling of familiarity like the sound of the waves.
So.
1. The dream doesn't mean anything
2. The KH1 opening where Sora falls on the water is part of Sora's station of awakening dream
3. It's some kind of weird metaphor about how remembering Sora's past is going to kill Xion
Kaixi Angsty Feelings about the fact that the ocean kills Xion
Spent a while not doing any challenge reads due to. Well. How much I disliked The Turn of the Screw. Which was a bit easy because my deal with myself was until October and I went through almost all the list already. pretty sure I'm only missing Rebecca now
So. The Yellow Wall-Paper. Something I really enjoy about horror stories is how many ways there are to interpret them, and I've spent about an hour reading interpretations of this one. I always do this a bit after I finish the challenge reads, but this time was a lot more than usual.
It's a short story, obviously, and a bit maddening to read. I was completely baffled by the end the first time I read it so went back a couple pages to read it again to see if I missed something, but it is just meant to be confusing lol
My own interpretation is that the damage of the room is her own doing. But I really couldn't decide my view of the ending itself. I think some things you just experience without trying that hard to figure out!
I also read, recently, The Body Snatcher. Which wasn't part of my original challenge reads but fits quite well into it. I have less to say about this one. It's pretty straightforward until it's not and I'm not sure what to think of the ending? It's more fun if the two of them were just so freaked by the situation that they simply hallucinated that, but I'm not sure that truly makes sense to the way it's told
Happy birthday, dear @palizinhas! I know how much you love Tifa:) So I hope you enjoy this video for your birthday. Love you!
Omg, thank you!!! I love Tifa SO MUCH, but because the FFVII fandom deeply scares me I never get to see much content about her. Love you!!
I've made polls on the "best KH memes" before but I wanted to ask what people thought were genuinely underrated KH memes/meme lines.
So no "bugs" or "door to darkness" or "we totally owned you lamers" or "'I'm me,' he says". But genuinely stuff you feel is not as appreciated by the wider playerbase. Lines and/or actions that you find hilarious.
For me, it's that moment when Sora just blasts the necklace Ursula was wearing, because just the way he looks and sounds done with the whole thing before he takes out this giant key to magic beam the accessory into oblivion, gets a good laugh out of me every time.
(Maybe I might make a poll out of potential answers from this ToT)

Making Kingdom Hearts Stuff Until KH4 Comes Out (Day 408)
Always fascinated by this annual event
SO funny my "not yet, Ferb" gif goes around like this every March
Didn't do updates to the whole challenge thing in a while so I'm gonna do two together, especially because I had similar thoughts about both but found one more enjoyable than the other. We Always Lived in the Castle and The Turn of the Screw
We Always Lived in the Castle does this thing where it has the kinds of weird dialogues and absurd main character having absurd narrations that Haunting of Hill House, from the same author, does, but it's a bit more direct about things. Takes a while to get going but does some fun things.
The Turn of the Screw, however, is my least favorite of the whole challenge. I was really underwhelmed by it. It's not uncommon for ghost stories to really be about the characters' psyche or whatever (Haunting of Hill House is also a bit like that), but the main character is extremely annoying. The narration is annoying. It's kinda absurd for such a short book to feel too long, but it somehow does. It's probably a good book for literary analysis and stuff though since it has all these sexual undercurrents lol
