Part of what makes Skypiea so incredibly interesting (alongside the foreshadowing and plot and the depressing-ass flashback) is just how out of their depth the strawhats really are. Like we saw them struggle in Alabasta but Skypiea is where I think the real difficulty increase becomes clear.
