Your posts informative and l agree with some of your perspectives on Med. I find this storyline with Crockett,Ethan &April to be exhausting. Sometimes it seems to me that you dislike Ethan. Since his deployment, he is different & softer approach to April. April is the who wanted to try the IVF , not Ethan. You seem to point out Ethanâs flaws but donât acknowledge that Crockett has flaws too. He was shady to April in elevator. Crockett will reveal the truth to Ethan. Marcel is not innocent

There really isnât a Sexceltoi story line. It died as soon as April put that ring on her finger.The fact is the majority of the fandom finds canon Chexton exhausting. Iâm not making that up to be salty or throw gasoline on the fire. thatâs what Iâve read on here, in the comment sections on various entertainment sites, and through episode reviews since they put them together. And I understand why Chexton fans find this story exhausting. They wonât let them be happy
This season with Ethan being softer shouldâve been two seasons ago when they first got together. Instead itâs being done for emotional impact as they build up each mushy moment until April breaks his heart. Itâs shitty.
And yes she says that sheâs willing to try IVF, this isnât a GOTCHA moment hun. Itâs just April feeling supportive enough to try, but Med not doing ANY of the work to ask themselves why April would only feel as though she was worthy if she could provide Ethan with children. Where does her fear come from? Why she was so scared to begin with? This narrative is sexist AF, insensitive, and tone-deaf too.
There is nan a moment to discuss any fear she has, or how her hopes were dashed in the past because her entire miscarriage story and romance with Tate was done to hammer the last nail in Sexteride. And now the show is playing you, not me, like I forgot.Â
Ethan is the one who was cooking her iron-folic rich food, charting her menstrual cycle, and constantly talking about being a dad, and she isnât even pregnant yet.To point out that I notice is not the same as pointing out Ethanâs flawsâŠliterally the show, the DIALOGUE did that. Or am I supposed to not notice? Heâs excited, we get it. But this story like ALL the Chexton stories is still heavily relying on his POV with a very narrow view of hers.Â
At the end of this story just like the end of their relationship in season 3 weâll all feel awful for Ethan because he tries his best and Aprilâs disclosure will be the one to end things and April will be the one DRAGGED AGAIN in the fandom.
But that doesnât stop the Ethan defense squad from showing up in my inbox.
And itâs interesting that you pointed out that Marcel;s behavior toward April was shady in the elevator, considering those were the EXACT words I used to describe it in one of my last Asks todayâŠ
And no Crockett is not going to be the one to tell Ethan the truth, itâll be April. The writers have already told us.
No one thinks Marcel is innocent just not like the rest of these fools on the show. Let it go.
