Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.
When the art comes down, the plates get wrapped away, and every trace of a life packed into boxes, a house starts to reveal what it really is.
I bought this home to share with someone. Life had other plans, and for a long time I held onto a place that no longer held the life it was meant for.
These past few years havenāt really been about making new memories here by myself. Theyāve been about growing into someone ready for whatās next.
So today isnāt a goodbye filled with sadness. Itās gratitude for what this place once was, acceptance for what it became, and excitement for what comes after.
Iāll miss the pool, though.
