i might be missing a major throwaway line or something but does anyone else think that mephone never actually had prizes to give anybody?? he told cabby there was no prize. oj didn't even buy his hotel because we know mephone generated it. suitcase just says, "where's my money??" and we don't get any hints at what she did with the cash from there. the area they're in seems to be isolated from the rest of society, so what would she even be able to buy?? their society doesn't seem to run on currency. and mephone's generation powers went away so he couldn't exactly make her a building like he did with oj and cabby. and where would mephone even get the money? stolen from mecloud?? it can't be generated either because if that were the case he could've just conjured some up for cabby. i wonder if he had a counterfeit measure coded into him to prevent meeple lawsuits. but yeah we never actually see him give a single dollar out, so every season was prizeless. it makes sense because he was running everything with 0 experience and a dream, it's just something i think about a lot.

finally watched the movie and picked apart her character design lmskfhsmf... i care her

i like to think they also made her a super vertical character because despite there being a lot to her she's not stable or grounded at all. if one thing messes up she risks toppling over and will do anything to keep herself "balanced" (even if it ends up hurting things in the long run). i'm also really fond of the super long rectangles they used, she's someone you should rely on from time to time but not completely depend on. i have so so much more to say about her and her design + maaybe role in the movie but it'd be too long maybe i should make an essay 😭
