Some hidan studies!

I'm trying to study his features more. His face is actually pretty unique. He's got a shorter nose, a squarer face and hairline, and kind of a negative canthal tilt (which I think makes him look really smug haha it's my favorite part of his face)

Despite being one of my favorite characters, he's really hard for me to draw. I think it's because I'm not practiced in drawing characters with his anatomy. I do a lot of long, sharp faces with long noses and upward sloping eyes.

His colors too...hard not to make his skin color blend too much with his hair

Also, I'm conflicted about his body type (which is how I decide shapes and silhouettes for my characters). He gives me stout, meaty vibes while also giving me lean, boney vibes...

more often than not he comes out looking wrong haha anyway, that's enough rambling
