Trump doesn’t want Puerto Rico to receive donations and supplies from other countries other then the USA! He won’t allow entrance of ships from Allie countries. The media is lying to you. Demand the truth!!!!!!!! We are without food, water, electricity, gas, medical supplies, diesel, propane and oxygen! Your supplies are not getting here! They are telling you that we are receiving them but companies are gathering the supplies you send and reselling them from a higher price!!!!! USA military is here and they are out in the streets with machine guns and granades. Share this people need to know the truth from civilians living here!
This is such fake news, if you believe this you’re part of the issue with spreading fake information.
This is the biggest fail of the week.
@italianguy617
This is fake news? I’m here on the island. I’m a doctor on the island who is working 13-19 hour shifts in a hospital that was partially damaged and is operating with NO air conditioning and limited supplies. There are lines for the dead people for morgue, there are lines for the emergency room and we have told the masses that we cannot take anyone unless it’s a life or death situation. Meaning if you have an bullet in your body, for example, and it’s not hitting a vital organ we are not offering our services. Here’s the news from OUR news paper: http://m.primerahora.com/noticias/puerto-rico/nota/desesperacionporlasaltastemperaturasenelhospitaldelaupr-1248241/ HERES AN ARTICLE IN ENGLISH EXPLAINING THE HORRIBLE CRISIS WE ARE HAVING WITH OUR HOSPITALS https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/sep/27/puerto-rico-faces-a-health-crisis-made-worse-as-majority-of-hospitals-are-inadequate I am a citizen that has spend my “free hours” queuing in line for up to 8 hours to get gas for my car, 2 hours to get into a supermarket only to find there’s no drinking water, there’s no bread, no vegetables only junk food, 3 hours to retire cash from a bank ATM because no open establishment is accepting cards. There are people dying of hunger, thirst and lack of shelter. While USA military has removed hundreds of sheltered citizens from our coliseum to make space for US guards. Source: NOTIUNO Now you can choose to turn your back and make believe this isn’t happening, but do not dare say that my post is fake news because this is real and this is happening to 3 MILLION American citizens in Puerto Rico. God/ess forbid you or your family ever go through a catastrophe. God/ess forbid you or you family ever go hungry. God/ess forbid if you do, may others never turn their backs when you most need help. Goddess forbid
So sad how people keeps saying this is fake news when somebody from the island is saying so.
NOT Fake news—-http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/13/us/puerto-rico-superfund-water/index.html
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/10/us/puerto-rico-power-hospitals.html
People who are calling this fake news are despicable. People in Puerto Rico are desperate and they’re dying. Fuck you @italianguy617
i live in florida and my step dad delivers supplies to puerto rico by plane and it’s so sad he says all the food just sits and rots at the airport and nothing is getting to the people :-(
In many ‘Spaghetti Western’ films, a broad sub-genre of American Western films that emerged during the 1960s in the midst of Sergio Leone’s film-making success, many of the vuglar roles Native Americans were hired to act in forced them into offensive portrayals with little attention paid to authenticity, with emphasis only placed on painting them as “simple savages.” As a result, many American filmmakers paid little attention to actually translating the indigenous languages for what they were saying on screen. As a result, many actors were able to say what they really felt.
Reel Injun, Documentary (2009)
it’s on netflix right now for anyone that wants to catch it
This is such a good documentary, guys. I try and convince all my students to watch it. It was made by Neil Diamond, a Cree filmmaker, and it’s an utterly fascinating look at portrayals of indigenous peoples in North American cinema.
Protest against child labor, New York City, May 1, 1909 (Labor Day). Two young girls proudly wear sashes calling for an end to child labor, referring to the practice as “child slavery.” The signs are written in both English and Hebrew. Jewish immigrants, forced out of Russia and Eastern Europe because of pogroms and anti-Semitic laws, came to New York City in large numbers. Many immigrant Jews worked in the garment industry, a field rife with unfair labor practices. The New York City garment industry, along with the Jewish immigrant population, were centered around Manhattan’s Lower East Side.
