Looking at him “you out this human In me , therefore this is your fault “ Abby said finally standing up and putting her foot down on the towel , with a sigh of relief she smiled “that was quite the experience

“But if you didn’t need my help I would feel pretty useless,” he retorted, bending over to bring the towel over and dry her off. Brushing the fabric of the towel over her shoulder, he rubbed circular motions over it with the pad of his thumb. “I’m definitely not the only culprit here, it takes two, honey bunches. Here, you sit down and I’ll get you some clothes,” Once they finished up he migrated to the closet once everything settled, a brisk chuckle falling from his lips. “It’s nothing I haven’t seen before, Abby. There’s nothing to be embarrassed about, I promise.”

Abby looked at her boyfriend and sighed “yes I do, and if you laughed I’m make you sleep on the couch and you can’t touch me for a week” the blonde laughed holding her hands up for him . This was the last thing she wanted to happen to do bjt this was her life “this is your fault you know

“I wouldn’t think of it.” Griffin responded, shaking his head as he reached for one of the blonde’s hands into his own. “There’s nothing more embarrassing you can do that I haven’t already done.” Once he grabbed both of her hands, he leaned himself up, gently tugging upwards for her to follow. “Up we go, angel.” As he was careful not to let her slip backwards, he moved in closer, freeing an arm up to keep a close security around her back. “Oh is it? How is this my fault?” He asked with a chuckle. “Left your leg over the tub for me, baby. the towel’s underneath you.” The male added, his teeth sinking into his lower lip as his eyes focused on Abby’s dark caramel ones.

The male knew the last few days — or months, realistically — were trialing for Abby. With what little time the two had together to relax, it always felt as thought to be cut short. As he laid the remote back on the sea of blankets, it wasn’t a beat later that he heard his girlfriends voice call out to him. Immediately bringing hisself to his feet, he padded to the connecting bathroom. “Oh, no.” He commented, sliding the plush towel off the rack and folding it on the floor. “Does somebody need help?” He asked, amusement filled in his tone as he kneeled to the level of the bath, his arm rested over the lip of the tub as he gazed into Abbys own eyes with a slight glint.

Griffin laid perfectly still in the bed he and his girlfriend shared. As he placed his phone on the side table he ran a quick hand through the bangs that fell over his forehead, knowing a haircut was in his future. Laying back on the headboard, the male peeled his shirt off of his body and laid the t shirt on the floor as a soft smirk appeared on his face. As he watched adamantly at the monitor hooked on the charger on the near side table, he observed as Spencer, now much older and sitting herself up, tossing and turning, flipping onto her back before finally lulling herself to sleep. Brushing the covers with the pads of his fingers he let out a soft breath of a sigh, before scrolling through the channels of the tv.

griffinjohnson: happy birthday to this angel that makes living like heaven on earth. you’re another year older now but you will always be a kid at heart. you mean the absolute world to me and i can never repay you for all that you’ve done for me and our family. stepping up to the plate with spencer when you didn’t have to, bring a mother figure for her, i know that she feels deep in her heart already that there’s nobody else to fit that description but you. i plan to give you twenty three kisses for all those years ago that you were gratefully born. the best part about you is not a single quality but how you make me feel when i’m around you. you make me a better person inside and out and you make me want to continue to become a better partner, father and person in the simplest of ways. i’m so lucky to be able to fall asleep next to you each night and protect you for as long as you’ve allowed me to. happy birthday to the love of my life. every second you are cherished. i love you to pieces, hot shot.
