☙ she/he ✧ 20s ✧ nephilim ✧ ☙ sometimes you gotta make a hotgirl and shes mine. literally! she has fire powers. an absolute icon. a member of the rebellion who works in both nursing and as a therapist. she is not actually qualified to be one but you kinda get what you get in a dystopia. can be a bit blunt, likes to joke around with people, but deeply loyal and cares a great deal about those close to her. ☙ she was also the affair child of a corrupt politician and found to be useful in covering up her half sister's powers so she grew up as a personal servant to her. until she found out, lashed out, ran away to the rebellion before she got herself killed, nearly died in the process. but she met thea and they managed to survive, get rescued, and make it there together. they've been friends ever since.

aldrakion: custom part-dragon species. was created in a series of supersoldier experiments, though only one successful subject capable of transforming into a full draconic form was ever created. and then immediately lost lmao. that's celeste! she had no idea about this for a while. the project and its perpetrators have been taken down and brought to justice, and the subjects freed. demon: a bit different flavor of demon than your traditional sort, it's a species with a wide amount of variety in forms, which are constructed by the individual once they reach maturity. they also can possess various sorts of powers, which vary based on the individual, but are rare. nephilim: the product of reproduction between a demon and a human. tend to possess humanoid forms, and cannot decide their appearance at maturity. however, they are more likely to have powers.

This is a pretty common one for Dark Urge playlists and for good reason. A young Euphyllia, often called Euphie is the adopted child of a fisherman and a bard in Baldur's Gate. While a somewhat normal child, learning music and living a happy life, a darkness lurks within. Dark thoughts, a hunger. Something they're supposed to be.

Love me. Love me. Love me, more and more Love me. Love me, so much that it’s maddening It’s painful, it hurts. Break, break this binding spell, okay? It can’t be stopped, ahh!

The desperation of a child for the parental love they will never get. Nothing is ever enough. While initially Euphie was not happy with or at all comfortable with their role as a Bhaalspawn, even running away and trying to take their own life to avoid it. This, however, was not an option. The Urge was awakened, and there's no way to escape, no one to save them. So over the years they broke down and submitted to their fate. Let the Urge do what it wanted until she accepted it, grew numb to it, enjoyed it. Tried to be the best child they could, doing anything to please them and seek the love and approval of their father. He would never truly love her, but she would do whatever she could to please him. Giving up a sense of identity to become simply the Dark Urge of Bhaal, no name to call their own. While a small part of her still yearned for a life beyond it, the rest was too loud.

Quick shoutout to Anna for being a hc Euphie voice for me <3 I like her voice a lot for them. Aside from cannibalism being cool and sexy and a canonical Durge trait and vibes, it evokes the way that they're treated in a way. Bhaal's children are ways for him to get his way at any cost.

Being very jaded against life and the lives of mortals that she ends. Foolish little lives that they try to ignore their jealousy towards. Also a bit of a hint towards her growing dissatisfaction with their life. (also my personal favored god-ish is probably Nerissa Ravencroft from Hololive EN's cover but its not on spotify)

Oh boy the brainrot this one gives me. This is a fun one because I feel like it hits the vibes of the Chosen of Bane and Bhaal, above mortals and plotting to control them. Yet a part of Bhaal's chosen, of Euphie, still cares for mortality and yearns for it. It's also a fun little note for me on part of why they get along in my eyes - she likes having a co-conspirator, a useful connection. Someone her father and the Urge can't take away because he serves a purpose. And she enjoys that. It's a bit strange, having someone outside of the cult she's allowed to be close to. It makes her desire more than the life she's accepted as all she'll ever have. And that is what leads to the downfall of Bhaal's Chosen.

It's baaaack ✨ The lingering hunger, the bloodlust... the question of this hunger and where it comes from, what Euphie is returns once again. Who they are. The urge always in their mind, worse in the night. Both the Urge and Euphie crying out for freedom in their own ways. There is little that she knows aside from putting together enough thoughts to grasp the name Euphie after being called "you" a few too many times until it came to her. That and the Urge, deeply terrifying them. Just what kind of monster were they before? And will they be able to stop that from happening again? I also do see this as a song they might play. Music is something near and dear to Euphie that they find grounding and comforting. They are deeply grateful to have rediscovered it, though unfortunately it came at a brutal cost. (Sorry Alfira ಥ_ಥ) They feel pretty horrified about it, that the one person they were nice to with no benefit, who gave them back something dear to them.

euphie: top 10 people you shouldnt fuck with ok ok serious description Euphie does NOT take shit from anybody yes. While along their journey they quickly start putting forward a heroic image, both for wanting to seem like a decent person and for their own sake of wanting it to be true. But that doesn't mean they don't have their moments, especially in fights, where it slips and a more brutal side comes out. The Urge and a little bit of their own nature they try to fight appears as they kill, and part of it bothers them, but there is a level of "if it works it works" to some of it. They may be trying to be better but they're no saint and amnesia didn't just reset them. There's still a lingering part of them as the Bhaalspawn, not just when they were Euphie. The charms and being whoever is needed to get the job done, being a brutal bad bitch.

Okay hear me out this song works so fucking well. Like way better than you would expect it to it suits her SO well. Keeping an upbeat and functional mask, trying to keep it together while your world is falling apart. The Urge is getting worse in the back of their mind through the Shadow-cursed lands, but they're supposed to be a hero, the leader, to keep the party running. Trying so, so hard to keep that facade present even when they're not sure they can really believe it. Inside they're terrified, falling apart, scared everything's going to fall apart and they won't be able to resist the Urge. That if the tadpole is removed she'll lose any semblance of who she is now to it. And also terrified that people at Moonrise recognize her. Cracks are forming in her image.

Euphie is a person projecting a lie to just about everyone, most of all herself. She's not sure she truly knows what love is or if she is even capable of it. If they can be a good person, a hero like the image they project. It's as much of a lie to herself as it is to the people around her, even if she hopes it can be true. Maybe if they keep up the lie enough it'll become that way.

I have less concrete deep tying lyrics and symbolisms thoughts about this one as much as i do vibes but the vibes are great i love the vibes because Euphie as a repentant sinner and it's also a fun vibe for how she shows an interest in Shadowheart's Shar worship at first because of the way she wants something to cling to. It reminds me of their relationships with their gods. Also just how they're both god's favorite princesses and their relationship is definitely something she ends up holding onto instead. So euphieheart chat time instead <3 I love euphieheart because the conflicted uncertainty of oh fuck. I like. actually really like her. is really fun especially with the lingering fears in their mind of being close to people (something they were not allowed in the past) and their parallels as god's favorite princesses, both groomed to be things they don't want to be by gods, taken from their families and finding their freedom from the gods and defining their own lives together I love their parallels!!!! this goes for lae'zel too im starting a replay because i cant get into my file and i'm adding a poly mod to do euphie/shadowheart/lae'zel and they all have such parallels... "my church offers no absolutes" also humors me because. yknow. this bitch made the absolute. plus another anna cover for this is what euphie sounds like to me <3

I was in the mood to listen to this, for nostalgia, and then ran into this slowed down piano version and I went oh! brainrot! Just really fun for some late night musings in the Shadow-Cursed Lands while the urges have been loud in their head the more and more they try to avoid them.

A quiet plea, a thought that the only thing that truly belongs to Euphie in this world is the love in her heart. She truly does love Shadowheart, though she's questioned in the past if she was capable of loving, of being loved. The moon is often a companion for Euphie's sleepless nights, and while Selune has showed a protection for Shadowheart - and Euphie has no reason to believe the gods would do anything for an unholy thing like them - they can't help but ask for her to keep on keeping her safe, especially when they're not sure how long they have left to live. The Urge has tried forcing them to kill her, and it's getting worse. If it continues at this rate, there won't be much of them, if any left before this journey comes to an end. They journey to Baldur's Gate with a mix of love and fear.

Achilles Come Down

Everything comes crashing down for Euphie when her past is revealed. They already were falling after things got worse within the Shadowlands, a mini breakdown within the Illithid Colony after running into Kressa Bonedaughter and finding out what she did to them, followed by the Urge overtaking her as punishment in an attempt to kill Shadowheart. Euphie had... an inkling for a while, of being a Bhaalspwan from some of the things they found, but never let themself really think on it. And finding out not only that, but that they were responsible for the Absolute plot as well... it's enough to have them ready to end things. They go invisible and run off after Wyll and Karlach go to check on his father. While she does come down eventually and resolves to keep going, it's more for cleaning up her mess than anything else at first. They struggle a lot with it. They're... genuinely surprised they're allowed to stay despite it all, even if they plead for the chance to pay their penance,

Flower of Hell

Less a song of Euphie's view and more one directed towards them. While they fear that they've lost all their connections, all the care that their friends have had for them. The party coming back together - the showing that her friends do still are about her, and want her to be more than what she was made for. The person she is. It also fits for the way that she gets support after the whole "almost killing Shadowheart incident" but we need something a bit more hopeful between the two suicidal ideation songs. And it shows they still have that support that gives them some degree of hope for things improving.

Wasteland

This song is so about the moment where Euphie rejects Bhaal and that which follows. The first verse being the rejection, making the choice to die instead of be his, and kind of starting to give up. They're tired. So tired. Tired of fighting, tired of being forced to keep going. With the second verse, they're dead. And at first, they'd rather stay that way. The world is better off without them and they don't want to keep on going. But Withers comes in, and she rebukes him at first. But he can be quite convincing through hitting her where she's vulnerable. Showing them their friends, and how upset they are at their death. And this cracks them. She still cares for all of them so deeply. The third verse - they're not ready yet, not if they can genuinely be free and with the people they love. So they do decide to take his offer and keep on going. They're not alone.

The question lingering in Euphie's mind despite having been presented with an answer - one that hurt them but they knew to be true. A weapon, a perfect killer, a Bhaalspawn. And that was supposed to be all she would ever be. But that's not what she wants. Something that needs to be re-evaluated after being killed by one god and dragged back into life by another, ties severed as much as they could be. While difficult to come to terms to at first, they... they do want to live. To have a life, to figure out how to do that, how to be happy- like the name they gave themself, Euphoria, after awakening on the Nautiloid. Also the idea that they're "not real" - the way that they don't feel like a real person, just a weapon and there's a quip I have for multiplayer run specifically about how Vic staunchly defends her on being a tiefling but she's not even a real tiefling or a real person, just a weapon and a monster. teehee <3

🌌 Hmm... I suppose so? I guess I'm questioning that a bit lately... It's a little complicated lately since I used to think we were lucky, though we do have some degree of skills too, I'd say. But it's complicated now because we'd been getting supernatural help. So now I'm not really sure. Though I'd like to still believe in it, and that I am. I certainly feel lucky to have met the wonderful people I have.

☄️ COMET - what do people assume about them? are they right?

🗡 "That... depends greatly on what I allow them to see of me. If I'm able to put up the heroic front, my... little hero lie, then they'd probably assume I'm a decent person - perhaps even a good one, if occasionally a bit odd at times. Someone who works hard to do the right thing. None of that is correct, of course. Well, except for the last part I suppose. While I try hard to fight my wretched blood and monstrous nature to avoid harm, it does not change the monster that I am. That I hide from people in the futile attempt to be good." They avoid making eye contact while speaking, and quickly slink away when finished.

And this is where I'll come in! And spill their secrets ehe <3 This one's harder for Euphie to answer personally because they are just NOT able to be objective about themself <3 This bitch is full of too much self loathing! If people saw Euphie in the image they project they would indeed assume she was good! But that she's hiding some serious struggles despite how hard she tries to act like she's completely fine. While Euphie's morality is hard to define, they are truly earnestly trying to be good and fight against the urges to be that. They're loyal and would do anything to protect the people they care about, something that they absolutely display. Including a nasty habit of taking hits for others because it's fine, they're resilient and if they die they'll just wake up later, no magic needed. (Don't worry about what that means, it's just a weird curse or something). And they have done good things, with intent to be a better person going forward than they were in the past.

I also included some little sketches for these for funsies! They're probably missing details - I know I missed Euphie's piercings but I will NOT be going back to fix it cause I already redid them bc I wasn't happy with the first sketch. I think the one for me popping in like a little menace to give additional insight on Euphie's is especially fun but I also enjoyed my little chibi experiment for miss leste <3 Euphie also hits that good angsty vibes
