My whole life, I’ve wanted nothing but to be like you. To be the kind of man who sacrificed for others. Who cared. Who would do anything to help another person. I wanted to be the guy someone could depend on the way I could always depend on you. The guy who made other people’s life better just by being there for them. The guy who made a difference.
That’s the only thing I regret. I wanted to earn the pride you’ve always had in me. I wanted to do something right. Make a difference to people the way you made a difference to me.
