Please explain to me how making a character female is homophobic? Are all female characters Marysue according to you? Am I not allowed to have a straight character in my Prussia? Please read your own closing argument there.Besides-- Hetalia is desperately lacking strong female characters. I can count all of them on my hands! Nyo!Austria Cosplay for Sale

Please note that it does not fit me correctly. I have gained weight since I had it ordered, and also have grown a few inches.

I am not about to sell a cosplay without ansering a ton of questions, but I do not know what all information needs to be discussed. If anyone is interested, please shoot me an ask with your skype username and we can discuss the finer points of the outfit, including but not limited to:  material, measurements, light testing, etc.

I spent about $90 on the shirt, skirt, cravat (its velcrow and rather cheap actually) and shipping. I am looking to get enough to have a base fund for an America cosplay with which to do gifs on this blog. My estimated cost for the final cosplay is going to be $130. I want to get at least a part of that.

I DO ship internationally, to anywhere at all, tracking number and such included. 

There is no wig included because at the time of purchasing this cosplay, my natural hair was very long and the perfect style and length to be Nyo!Austria without help. (Note: Admin is transgender, and this was before the change-!) I will, however, purchase for the buyer a Nyo!Austria wig, and style it myself in the fashion of a traditional Austrian hairstyle which I’m going to have my grandmother help me with. I have already ordered said wig, and when it is here, I will upload pictures accordingly. It will include a bit of complicated braiding and if I can manage it, some (fake) floral weave-ins. 

Estimated prices, including shipping and the wig:

Continental U.S.: $60

Canada, Alaska, Hawai’i and Mexico: $65

Europe, South America, Asia, etc: $80 (International shipping from my local post office is expensive I’m sorry-)

I will negotiate price with the buyer, and will ensure that the final price is as fair as possible. You will know exactly what is being charged for what- You will get a scanned copy of my receipt from the post office, too!

And another thing that bothers me in Hetalia. Obviously Himaruya can’t dig too deep in the history in every aspect, so this might sound too much of nitpicking. HRE is older than Austria. HRE tracks down to the year 800, but Austria’s name to 996. Austria was never really Austria. Austrian patriotism and identity didn’t exist and the lands were just a bunch of small duchies and such. Even up to the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Austria did exist, but only in the name of the Empire and the emperor’s name. And then the Great War came and Austria lost. „Austria consist of what is left over.“ The Empire saw its end and Austria literally was what was left over from the lands when everyone else got their parts. After the war the Austrians lost their hope that their country would ever raise again, would even be a nation at all. So, I totally support the wheelchair thing in Hetalia. Where was the Austrian identity? It still did not exist. All they wanted was to be part of Germany. Even in the 1930’s people used to say „we are Germans, but living only in Austria.“ Slowly, very slowly after the WWII this nation started to find our own identity and nowadays we say „we are Austrians.“ But, why is Austria portrayed so prideful through whole Hetalia?

Watching the other, Matthew felt his own awkwardness building up inside of him. He and Thiel weren’t exactly on the best of terms, and it was obvious that the guy thought he was someone else. A particular Frenchman, perhaps. It wouldn’t surprise him all that much. At first, he thought about just rolling with it and leaving the kitchen with that.

But of course, he couldn’t let the guy think he was someone else. That was old school by now. “Do you need any help with that?” He heard himself asking. It was good enough, he figured.

With a soft sigh he pulled out the box of what he hoped was a CookieCrisp, if he'd read the label right. Of course, it could always be Cheerios; those labels were kinda the same, right?

It was just Matthew’s luck. It had been planned out perfectly — go to Germany, get the work done and fly back to Ottawa before nightfall. And then the storm had arrived, his flight had been cancelled, and Ludwig had offered Matthew stay at his house, rather than at a hotel. At first, the Canadian had objected against it, but had soon thereafter accepted the offer. 

Now, he stood in the kitchen of the German’s house, having just finished making himself some French toast, when he noticed a figure approaching in the corner of his eye. Quick to turn to the door, his eyes widened in slight surprise at who he saw. “Thiel.”

Being as fresh from a nap as he was, the ability to recognize voices was a bit beyond him at the moment. Instead he just stretched his shoulders back and shuffled forward. "B'jour..." He mumbled, his french as garbled and muffled as it ever was, in addition to being sleepy.

He mumbled softly to himself, thinking it was Francois there. The Frenchman had close business deals with Ludwig, right? He shrugged and reached for the cabinet, running fingers along the edge for several seconds as he sought out the handle.

Whether Ludwig was saying anything important or not didn't occur to the Prussian. It had been decades since he ever really gave that man the time of day. All he heard was I'll be back tomorrow. And so, Thiel was just going to resume lounging on the couch and continue his nap.

Of course, eventually that nap would be ended by a spike of hunger, which prompted the albino to roll off of the couch and trudge over towards the kitchen, rubbing at his eyes and  grumbling to himself abotu how he had to make his own meal. Somehow.
