Classes
160 Cars are participating in the race this weekend, unfortunately down from 161. The #146 Giti Tires Motorsport by WS-Racing that was set to compete in AT2 has had to withdraw after a crash in Qualifying 1. Which is a shame as it was the only car with an all-female crew. However, there are still several cars with female drivers competing. A list can be found here
The grid is divided into 24 classes. Two of these classes will be fighting for overall victory. SP9 and SPX, SP9 features GT3 cars conforming to FIA rules. The class features two subcategories in Pro-Am and Am. Meanwhile, SPX are special vehicles, this year there are five cars in the class. Three HWA EVO.R's, a KTM X-Bow GTX and the BMW M3 Touring 24h. The last one is the biggest contender within the class a special project that started out as an April Fool's joke.
There are also two GT3's in AT1, both entered by Max Kruse racing. These are alternate fuel cars. Which is why they don't compete in the SP9 category.
In SP10 you'll find SRO Homologated GT4 cars. This year will be the first time this class is divided into subcategories just like SP9, Pro-AM and AM and the overall 'Pro' class.
Cup 2 is one of several one-make classes. In this one several Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) cars will be competing against each other. While In Cup 3 it will be Cayman GT4s competing against each other.

Top Qualifying
All cars slotted into top qualifying 3 following the qualifying race a few weeks ago.
The rest of the top class (SP9, SPX and AT1) cars will have to participate in top qualifying 1 and potentially 2 to qualify for 3. For those the three regular qualifying are more like practice. For the rest of the grid those three sessions do set the grid.
