I know everyone wants Aemond to be haunted by Lucerys's ghost in Harrenhal, but listen, what if he isn't? What if nothing is chasing him?

What if everyone can see him; the servants, the guards, the Strongs, the cursed Criston Cole, EVERYONE. Everyone can see him, hear him, feel him, except Aemond. No matter what he does, he can't see beyond his shadow, the whisper of his voice, the sound he makes when he walks. He chases him and chases him and can't find him. And that could really drive him mad… And they say there's no worse fate than indifference.

Aegon using lucerys as bait as he knows aemond is more likely to believe him than jace or aegon. luke was probably the only one more interested in him than making fun of him, why he's immediately skeptical when aegon start speaking again..

Then there's an scene where aemond hits Jace's sword in anger, while he pushes lucerys behind him because he kept jumping in between jace and aegon's sparring.

Which reframes driftmark in my mind,l because while aemond does punch him he doesnt hit him with the rock, while he does hit jace an almost mortal blow, he threatens lucerys but he cant imagine bringing any real harm to him......only if...

Anf he does call larys "lord strong" but again without the possessive address which he reserved for luke
