Okay so I want a little bit of help

I’m non-binary and my parents don’t use my pronouns ( They/Them). They tend to want to keep with my dead pronouns because “ They/Them pronouns are disrespectful because it doesn’t grammatically name the individual.” Their hearts are in the right place but I feel like I’ve tried everything to help them understand. I even tried to compromise with letting them use He/Him pronouns and I got met with “ Why would you go with a gendered pronoun?” 

Could anyone help me teach them about my pronouns and help me feel comfortable in my own skin?

December is my favorite time of the year because I get to as my parents “ Could I please have some Crack?” without getting in trouble.
