Nakshatra Categories Notes
This was a nightmare. It starts as excitement that there are so many different ways to classify the nakshatras, then it sort of turns into a bit of overwhelm. The big thing I'm missing is the deities, which I plan to add on later. I will have to do separate notes on all the deities/gods to make sure I'm getting the appearances right.
I will probably leave certain things out like the gender categorical system, birds, trees, gemstones. I probably didn't need to bother making a chart for the directions/movements. Might also expand on existing notesheets if needed.
I'm going to pull my hair out if I come to realize later that I messed some things up.
Alltogether:
The Parent You Keep Looking For in Lovers - The Fourth House Through the Signs
if you like this post take a look at my book The Sky Within (pinned post) available on Amazon and all digutal platforms
Fourth House Aries
Someone once loved you by arriving fast. Shoes still on, voice already loud, hands already solving something. Affection sounded like urgency and protection looked like motion. Now you notice who enters a room first. Who chooses quickly, who does not hesitate at thresholds. When a lover moves slowly, you grow uneasy. You start inventing fires just to watch someone come running. Some part of you still believes love proves itself by speed.
Fourth House Taurus
There is a chair in your memory. Heavy, wide, impossible to tip. Someone used to sit there every evening, or maybe no one ever did, and the absence taught you the shape of what you would later crave. Now you look for voices that do not wobble, hands that feel like oak, routines that return without asking. You don’t trust people who change their mind too easily. Your body is still searching for furniture.
Fourth House Gemini
“…and then what did you say?” “…did you hear me?” “…I was trying to tell you—”
Love first reached you through sentences. Through someone who explained the world to you, or through someone who never quite finished listening. Now attraction begins in the throat. You fall in love with timing, with wit, with the way someone remembers the exact word you used last week. When silence lasts too long, your chest tightens. Conversation is not what you want. You want the moment when someone finally looks up and says, I’m still here. I’m paying attention.
Fourth House Cancer
Today’s forecast: soft rain inside the house. Someone once noticed your moods before you learned their names. Or no one did, and you became your own climate. Now you choose lovers who read the temperature of a room without checking the thermostat. Who bring blankets before you ask. Who sense when something is about to break. When someone misses your sadness, it feels like abandonment. You are still waiting for a home that knows when to turn the lights down.
Fourth House Leo
There is a picture you return to without realizing. You, smaller. Someone kneeling in front of you. Eyes warm. Smile proud. Or the space where that moment should have been. Now you fall in love with faces that brighten when you enter. With laughter that turns toward you. With people who make your presence feel like an event. Being overlooked hurts more than rejection. Some part of you is still asking the room: Am I the one you came to see?
Fourth House Virgo
Step one: be useful. Step two: do not complain. Step three: love arrives after everything is done.
Someone once loved you by correcting you, or only loved you when you were easy. Now you offer devotion through precision. You remember birthdays, you fix their problems, you organize the chaos before anyone notices. Receiving still feels like stealing. Care is the only language you were taught.
Fourth House Libra
In your first house of love, nobody stood alone. Every feeling was adjusted to keep the dance smooth. Anger softened, voices lowered, truth postponed. Now you fall in love with balance. With people who move gently around conflict. Who hold silence like glass. Who never tilt the room too far. When tension appears, your body forgets how to breathe. Somewhere inside, a child is still keeping the music from stopping.
Fourth House Scorpio
There was a door you were not allowed to open, or one you were forced to. Love first came wrapped in secrecy, intensity, loyalty that felt dangerous to test. Now you are drawn to eyes that recognize you too quickly, to bonds that feel irreversible, to closeness that carries weight. Surface happiness leaves you cold. You trust what has survived fire.
Fourth House Sagittarius
Your first love had an exit. Suitcases, stories, philosophies about why staying was impossible. Or a house that taught you to raise yourself. Now you fall in love with motion. With people who laugh at gravity, who make commitment sound like a road trip. Stillness feels like punishment. Somewhere, a child is still watching someone walk away and turning it into freedom.
Fourth House Capricorn
Love once arrived as structure. Schedules, rules, someone holding the ceiling up so the house would not fall. Or you did. Now you want partners who feel like beams instead of blankets. Reliable, competent, unbreakable. Tenderness makes you nervous. Your heart learned to trust what does not collapse.
Fourth House Aquarius
“I care about you, but I don’t know how to stay close.” Someone loved you from across a principle, a cause, a distance. Affection came with space built into it. Now you fall in love with originality, with detachment, with people who never ask too much. Intensity feels like a trap. Your nervous system still remembers that closeness can vanish without warning.
Fourth House Pisces
In your first memory of love, nobody had clear edges. Feelings leaked, roles blurred, someone disappeared inside you, or you inside them. Now you fall in love with familiarity you cannot place. With eyes that feel remembered. With souls that seem older than time. Reality sometimes feels too sharp. Somewhere, a child is still trying to finish a story that never had a beginning.
FRANKENSTEIN (2025) dir. Guillermo del Toro
Reminds me of Purva Phalguni and it's Ugra nature.
Purva Phalguni’s indulgent and gluttonous tendencies can be traced back to an upbringing marked by scarcity, instability, or emotional unsafety—especially for those with Purva Phalguni rising and moon. Their appetite for pleasure, comfort, and excess is not simply hedonistic, but a defense mechanism developed in response to emotional or material deprivation early in life. Like someone who turns to food for comfort in times of distress, Purva Phalguni learns to associate pleasure and indulgence with safety, solace, and self-preservation.
A fitting metaphor is that of the “pack rat”: accumulating material possessions as a subconscious attempt to create a sense of stability or control. For Purva Phalguni, objects and luxuries aren’t merely things—they’re extensions of emotional security, each item adding to an invisible fortress of comfort. This is why the nakshatra may develop a compulsive relationship to materialism, always fearing that the well of abundance could run dry.
In addition, Purva Phalguni is often linked to sensuality and sexuality, but beneath its reputation for pleasure-seeking lies a deeper psychological need. Self-pleasuring, casual intimacy, or hypersexual behaviors can act as forms of self-soothing, ways to reclaim the body’s joy when love or nurturing from others—especially parental figures—felt inconsistent or absent. Like its Venusian sister nakshatras, Purva Phalguni may experience unresolved intimacy issues with the mother and an absent, distant, or unavailable father figure. This dynamic fosters a pattern where the native turns inward, indulging the senses as an act of self-love and escape, pouring into themselves what they felt was withheld by others.
Yet behind this indulgence is a fragile core: a longing not just for pleasure, but for unconditional warmth and belonging. Their relationship to comfort is never solely about luxury—it is a personal ritual of survival, a reclamation of joy in a world where pleasure once felt scarce or forbidden.
I’ve seen people with an exalted Sun be insecure, and people with a debilitated Sun become the most naturally charismatic ones in the room.
I’ve seen exalted Moons doing the sneakiest, most unsettling things (look up my serial killer research post), while debilitated Moons stay calm, grounded, and emotionally resilient amidst the chaos.
I’ve seen exalted Mercury natives be anxious, fidgety, overthinking/overanalyzing every word — and debilitated Mercury people turn out to be some of the sharpest minds alive (Einstein, hello?).
I’ve seen exalted Venus people completely detach from materialism and move toward God and spirituality, while debilitated Venus people are often the most effortlessly gorgeous, sensual, and magnetic.
I’ve seen exalted Saturn natives go through endless trials and tribulations — while debilitated Saturn natives struck into early success and recognition.
I have seen debilitated mars be the fiercest and ruthless fighters and exalted mars be the composed one channeling their energies inward.
I have also seen exalted jupiter still waiting on their luck and a mentor to guide them whilst debilitated jupiter being their own teacher and also lifting up others.
So maybe "Exalted" or "Debilitated" is not always about "good" or "bad"; To me they are just different ways of channeling one's energies.
The real question is never “good or bad,” but good for what purpose.
Just like how Jupiter is considered a true benefic and is good, but good for what? when all Brihaspati was known for is battlefields, strategies and wars.

my favorite aspects in romantic synastry 🥀
JUNO CONJUNCT SUN, VENUS OR ASC: Pure loyalty & devotion. One thing Ive noticed with this synastry is that they had my back. Men with their Juno conjunct my Sun, Venus or Ascendant also saw me as their ideal and really showed it.
VENUS CONJUNCT MC: People with Venus in my 10th house almost always treat me with so much adoration. Ive noticed that they looove my public image. They also tend to be protective over me. They also love to be seen with me which makes me feel like a queen.
VENUS OPPOSITE MARS: Balancing eachother perfectly. One is ying and the other is yang. They have the qualities I lack and vice versa. Our personalites melted together perfectly because of this. This is the aspect where youre a bottom and you meet someone and find out they are a top.
VENUS 2ND HOUSE: The best compliments ive ever gotten were from people with their Venus in my 2nd house. This one never fails. They always make me feel appreciated. They see something in me that I dont. Pure appreciation.
MOON 1ST HOUSE: With this one you can almost skip the ”get to know eachother phase”. From the first meeting it feels like youve known eachother for years. It feels so obvious that you should be together. You dont know eachother you feel eachother. The closest of close.
MOON TRINE OR SEXTILE MOON: Everything seems to just be so easy when I have this placement with someone. We are similar but not too similar. The same humour and core values. I find myself agreeing with everything they say.
MOON IN THE 8TH HOUSE: This is one of the aspects I ONLY like when its with someone I have a romantic relationship with. I cant stand this one in friendships or with people I barely know because then the obsession just turns weird and stalkerish. Im fine with my man being obsessed with me tho.
LILITH CONJUNCT MOON: When a mans Lilith is conjunct my Moon he loves me for who I am. He loves the part of me that nobody else likes. I love the fascination that men with their Lilith in my moon have with my hidden side.
PSYCHE CONJUNCT MOON: Nobody sees through me like someone I have this synastry with. He knows me from the inside & out to the point its creepy. But this aspect is only for people who are comfortable with their own shadow side otherwise you wont like this one.

Saturn in Synastry
🧡🗻💎🛡
Saturn prominence in synastry, meaning many contacts with either or both people’s Saturns, is significant. Saturn is our great lesson, our greatest obstacle, and our greatest restriction.
When saturn is prominent in one’s own chart, a person feels an innate restriction from early on (further explored here). Saturn has creates a natural desire for order, structure, discipline, determination, and strict morals. It is what is stereotypically the ‘father figure’ in your head. The voice of a stereotypical father telling you “try harder”, “you can do better”, “don’t settle”. It is, at times, cold and unforgiving, the most harsh part of your chart and with its dominance, this ‘father figure’ in your head so to speak is leading your life.
IN SYNASTRY – Many contacts with Saturn makes for an external ‘father figure’ force. The Saturn person is highly paternal to the planet person, in some way. The planet person, as they are likely to feel with an authoritative parent, are afraid of disappointing their Saturn partner. They can feel pressure to be better at what ever the Saturn is touching. If it’s the moon - they feel some amount of pressure to mask the more ‘embarrasing’ raw emotions, feelings, and deep inner thoughts they have. This only intensifies when the aspect is negative (square, opposite, or sometimes conjunct). If it’s venus - they feel this pressure to mask and perfect to the Saturn person’s standards the way the show/give love, affection, and beauty.
Needless to say, this can become exhausting quick. It is best to have Saturn aspects going both ways. Meaning, each person’s Saturn is touching the other’s planets. Without this? The planet person is going to have a very hard time enjoying themselves (especially if there are many contacts with their partner’s Saturn). It will feel like they are really trying to be your authoritative parent and that’s not enjoyable to most.
I always, always emphaize, though, that having Saturn contacts in synastry is one of the best things you can have. Honestly, I think it’d be difficult to make a relationship last long term on a serious, deep level without it. Because Saturn is so much more than restriction and expectations and criticism. Saturn forces us to look in the mirror, look at our situations, look at the people around us and the way we live our lives and ask: “could I be doing better for myself and for others?”. It forces us to learn, grow, mature, and always, always reflect.
When it is involved in synastry, our partner - no matter how much we fight it or don’t enjoy it - helps us to do these things! And isn’t that really what we all want from a long-term relationship? Someone that pushes us to our fullest potential and won’t let us make excuses forever?
I think Saturn contacts indicate a karmic relationship. Many, many, many marriages have multiple Saturn contacts. This person seems to be put into your life to help you learn lessons you just simply could not on your own. Whether or not the relationship lasts forever, I think you can look back at a relationship with double-sided Saturn aspects and know you both learned something invaulable. You needed each other, no matter the pain that accompanied it.
Ideally, contacts with be both positive and negative and as previously stated, occurring with both people’s Saturns. Also, the people that are most likely to enjoy and make these relationships last are people who are Saturn dominant/have Saturn prominence in their own chart, as they are used to it. Bonus if they have some of the same aspects they have in synastry in their own chart.
hi lovely creature 🦄💘 saw your amazing pluto opposite asc post and I wanted to ask if you could please do the same for saturn opposite asc & conjunct the dc in synastry? hope you have the best! Take care💌
Hello! x Thank you very much dear, much love back to you! x
Saturn opposite Ascendant/conjunct Descendant in Synastry:
☾ a serious connection, grounded, playing with open cards as this can be more a no unnecessary ‘none sense’ type of connection
☾ Saturn takes the role of the ‘mentor’, ‘supervisor’ or ‘judge’ for the AC/DC person
☾ The Saturn person can feel devotion (at worst some sort of obligation) towards the AC/DC person, they might feel fond of them because they sense/see that they can meet halfway, but likewise they might feel like they can help them with their struggles
☾ but the Saturn person can also see someone who is able to mutually work with them and support them just the right way in a connection
☾ both see someone who can be serious in each other, someone reliable, though the Saturn person can be especially hard on the AC/DC person
☾ the AC/DC person can thus feel very pressured and judged regarding their behavior in, but also out of the connection
☾ the Saturn person is sharp in pointing out what behaviors or outlooks on life the AC/DC person will have to develope in order to function more 'properly' in society -> can feel like someone trying to enhance your life with (or for) you
☾ the Saturn person can push their own rigid views onto the AC/DC person and thus the latter can feel like they need to change a lot in order to please the Saturn person or they feel restricted in their freedom/burdened
☾ meanwhile, the Saturn person can feel triggered by the way the the AC/DC person initiates structure in their environment at worst, at best the Saturn person is motovated to self improve by the AC/DC person
☾ the AC/DC person can develope unhealthy dependency on the Saturn person, as the Saturn person can possibly make the AC/DC person feel inferior at worst, even if their actions come from good intention
☾ taking responsibility for the connection mutually is from outmost importance
☾ external obligations might have a big influence on their connection, all that relates to maintaining stability/safety or the social position in different social systems (like work, family, a club, etc.)
☾ the Saturn person could be someone with noticable different social position, someone with a noticeable (mental) age difference
☾ Saturn on the DC in Synastry can point to a longterm connection
Jyestha and the Indriyas
The Hindu god Indra is associated with indriyas and these are the senses. To be exact, these are traditionally divided into 10 senses grouped into two categories. Karmendriyas (Organs of Action): anus, sexual organs, hands and speech. These senses are labeled as the exit senses, as they are outwardly expressed in relation to the external world. Jñānendriyas (Organs of perception): eyes, ears, nose, tongue, skin. These senses are labeled the internal senses, as they are what enters from the external world, shaping the perception. The mind, manas is an additional sense, that’s said to control of all the ten senses and Indra woven into the name indriyas, he has domain over the senses. The mind (manas) is often regarded as an additional sense, governing all ten faculties and Indra’s presence is symbolically woven into the term indriya, emphasizing his dominion over the senses. I contend that people with prominent Jyestha placements in their chart must cultivate mastery over their own senses. If left unregulated, these faculties may assert dominance, profoundly influencing thought, behavior and life outcomes. I’m reaching here but I believe this can manifest as anxiety, internal overstimulation, meticulous attention to one’s environment and the people within it, micromanaging tendencies and in extreme cases, mental health challenges, as well as a pull towards indulgence and instant gratification.
I felt like this quote applies to this nakshatra , “The art of war teaches us to rely not on the likelihood of the enemy's not coming, but on our own readiness to receive him; not on the chance of his not attacking, but rather on the fact that we have made our position unassailable” - Sun Tzu. This is a state of impenetrability, where one becomes unconquerable because they have already conquered themselves so when a challenge does arise, it barely leaves any trace because one cannot be weakened. Jyestha’s a nakshatra revolves around battle but their first battle always will be with themselves before it’s with anyone else. This is where the moon debilitates so the battle becomes internal. When we reach Uttara Ashada, the battle has already been won before it even began, Uttara Ashada being the later victory/invincible one.
P.S. I’m not a professional, or doctor, so please, please, please, shout-out to Sabrina Carpenter, so take this with a grain of salt but share your experience or people you know who have this nakshatra in their chart and what you’ve noticed.

˖⁺‧₊˚💖˚₊‧⁺˖ Juno in the Aries: Your soulmate is direct, brave, and somewhat impulsive. They tell you what they feel without hesitation; they get angry quickly but get over it just as quickly. They have a childlike, fun, and competitive side, and want to share adventures. They are someone who defends what they love. They don't hide. They go forward. They may have an active or athletic body, a lot of energy in their gaze, and may have a defined jaw or quick movements. They walk as if they have a clear destiny. Sometimes scars, marks on the skin, are signs of someone who throws themselves fearlessly into what's coming. A firm voice, these partners remind me of Theo James (lucky you hehe).
˖⁺‧₊˚💖˚₊‧⁺˖ Juno in the Taurus: Your soulmate is constant, stable, and loyal. They don't need to promise; they demonstrate with presence. They love with tact, with details. They are someone who wants to build, not just experience intense emotions. They take care of you without you asking. They don't rush into anything. They have a deep relationship with the body, with food, with the senses. They process everything they feel in their own time. They usually have a strong body, harmonious proportions, and soft or warm skin. They may have a defined neck or back, full lips, and a natural scent that envelops you. They move their hands slowly. Solid aesthetics, comfortable clothes.
˖⁺‧₊˚💖˚₊‧⁺˖ Juno in Gemini: Your soulmate has a thousand interests, a thousand passions, and wants to share them all with you. They get bored easily, but if you catch them with your brain, they stay. They are curious, brilliant, and need a mental connection. They love to learn, ask questions, and observe. They can be chaotic, but never indifferent. I've noticed they tend to have a quick gaze, expressive gestures, and a mischievous smile. They may have slender hands, a lithe or lanky body, and a youthful style regardless of their age. They speak with their hands and move quickly. They have a captivating voice and exaggerated reactions. They dress oddly, a mix of styles, but they always have something. They like glasses, accessories, or things that spark curiosity; someone who comes to mind is Evan Mock.
˖⁺‧₊˚💖˚₊‧⁺˖ Juno in Cancer: Your soulmate is gentle, sensitive, and empathetic. They have a protective heart, a genuine need to care. Sometimes they have a hard time opening up, but when they do, it's all yours. They're intuitive, homey, and remember things you didn't even know you said. They need depth, tenderness, and secure bonds. They tend to have large, moist eyes, as if they're always on the verge of feeling something. They have a warm body, arms that hug tightly, and a sweet face. They may have rounded features, fair or very soft skin. Their style is cozy: oversized sweaters, comfortable clothes. They have a sweet or lilting voice. They have a maternal/paternal quality, even if they don't realize it.
˖⁺‧₊˚💖˚₊‧⁺˖ Juno in Leo: Your soulmate shines brightly. They have such a strong energy that it doesn't go unnoticed. Proud, charismatic, passionate. They like to show their love in a big way, with intensity. They want to be chosen, admired, and give their all for the right person. They have a huge heart, but also an ego that needs nurturing. They are generous, protective, creative, and want to love with all their soul. Your persona may have striking hair, a big smile, and an upright posture. They tend to have a theatrical or flashy style and like to stand out. They wear perfume, accessories, something that says "I'm here." A strong voice, a confident gaze. They may have a large body or sweeping gestures. They dress up even for being at home. They always smell good.
˖⁺‧₊˚💖˚₊‧⁺˖ Juno in Virgo: Your soulmate is analytical, observant, attentive to everything that happens without making much fuss. They don't like grand gestures, but they do like details that show love: remembering your coffee, gently correcting you, helping you without saying "I love you." They are demanding, but also very generous with what they consider valuable. They love serving, fixing, and improving what they love. They have a deep, sometimes solitary inner world. Black cat energy. They have delicate or "clean" features, a well-groomed body, perhaps slim or with subtle movements. They have delicate hands, fair or even skin, and a shy but charming smile. Their way of dressing is neutral, neat, and well-coordinated. They have a calming quality. They speak softly and think carefully before saying anything.
˖⁺‧₊˚💖˚₊‧⁺˖ Juno in Libra: Your soulmate is sociable, charming, and balanced. They know how to say the right things, when to listen, and how to take care of you without making you uncomfortable. They have aesthetic sensitivity, refined taste, and an inner need for everything to be in harmony. They want a beautiful, caring, and equal relationship. They are romantic, but also fair. They hate unnecessary drama and seek peace, beauty, and complicity. I've noticed that this Juno is with people who have soft features, harmonious proportions, and a perfect smile. They may have dimples, well-groomed skin, or a tender gaze. They have a soft voice, refined manners, and a delicate scent. They always seem to be in control… but gently. It makes you want to trust them.
˖⁺‧₊˚💖˚₊‧⁺˖ Juno in Scorpio: Your soulmate is intense, mysterious, and emotionally deep. They don't talk much, but they feel everything. They love with all or nothing. They may have a difficult past, secrets but they also have an enormous capacity for transformation. They are protective, loyal, and sometimes possessive. If they love you, it's forever. And they aren't interested in superficial things. They want your whole soul. Physically, they usually have deep eyes, a gaze that takes your breath away. They may have pale or very dark skin, marked features, and visible or hidden scars. They wear dark clothes, have an intense aesthetic, a hypnotic voice, and slow gestures. They have something erotic about them even without trying.
˖⁺‧₊˚💖˚₊‧⁺˖ Juno in Sagittarius: Your soulmate is free, fun, and philosophical. They want to learn, explore, and live. They make you laugh, they open your mind, and they take you down new paths. They don't stay still, but if they choose you, they take you with them. They're optimistic, wise, a bit clumsy at times. They speak their mind. They love the truth, even when it hurts. And they believe in love as a shared adventure. They have long legs, a big smile, and a traveler's gaze. They can have an strong body, golden skin, and expressive features. They speak loudly, walk quickly, and are always in a hurry to live. They have an accent (could be from a different country than yours), travel stories, and meaningful tattoos. They are light in motion. When it comes to girls, this placement reminds me of Daisy from Daisy Jones and the Six.
˖⁺‧₊˚💖˚₊‧⁺˖ Juno in Capricorn: Your soulmate is strong, steady, and responsible. They're serious, but they soften with you. They have goals, structure, and ambition. They're the type of person who helps you grow, who silently protects you. They don't love easily, but when they do, it's pure loyalty. They have an angular face, a defined jaw, and a straight posture. They may have a steady gaze, thick eyebrows, and a sober style. They dress neutrally, classic, and elegantly. They like functional things. They have a strong body and large, firm hands.
˖⁺‧₊˚💖˚₊‧⁺˖ Juno in Aquarius: Your soulmate is different. They don't follow rules, they don't seek approval. They have strange ideas, unusual hobbies, and an open mind like few others. They believe in freedom, in friendship as the basis of love, and in unconventional bonds. They're someone who makes you think, who pushes you to question everything. They don't need to possess you; they need you to choose them every day. They usually have an alternative style, piercings, hair colors, something that breaks the mold. They may be tall, thin, or have eccentric gestures. Bright eyes, a spontaneous laugh, or an unusual way of walking. They're unusual. They're unique. And it feels like a beautiful experiment, hehe.
˖⁺‧₊˚💖˚₊‧⁺˖ Juno in Pisces: Your soulmate is pure heart. Sensitive, dreamy, intuitive. They have such a vast inner world that they sometimes get lost in it. They have the blessing and also the curse of feeling everything: yours, theirs, the world's. They can be spiritual, artistic, shy, or all of the above. They are the person who looks at you as if you were magic. I've noticed that these people have soft skin, a low voice, a soft or delicate body. They walk as if they were floating. They have tattoos, wear vintage clothes, like water, melancholic music; they also tend to be artists.

What the Taliban is doing to Afghan women is not “restrictions.” It’s gender apartheid- a total war on half the population.
• No school beyond grade 6 for girls.
• No university, no jobs, not even nursing or working for the UN.
• No public spaces :parks, gyms, beauty salons, even restaurants are forbidden.
• No freedom of movement without a male guardian.
• No voice in public, sometimes not even at home if men can hear.
• No bodily autonomy, contraceptives banned, justice system weaponized, women flogged and stoned.
This isn’t “culture.” It’s the deliberate destruction of female existence in public and private life.
And yet… the world shrugs.
Why? Because women’s rights are always treated as negotiable. It’s not complex. It’s patriarchy with guns.
We don’t need “awareness.” We need rage that doesn’t fade and solidarity that doesn’t stop when the headlines do. Afghan women are resisting every single day, often at the risk of prison, torture, or death. The least we can do is refuse to normalize their oppression.
Silence is complicity.
Patriarchy everywhere is patriarchy we must destroy.
Uttara Phalguni is so many things. Loyalty. The promises you make and the rewards you earn when you abide by those promises. A test of the soul’s vitality and ability to shine through one’s incarnation.
As the Awakening of Shakti, Uttara Phalguni represents women taking responsibility in prioritizing their own pleasure beyond another person’s meaningless words to give her the world. She puts her intuition above the dreams that men may try to sell her because she understands that they are lying and promiscuous when spiritually uncultivated. Her own intuition & yoni becomes the guiding force for her spiritual awakening, and it’s put on a pedestal beyond all else as it is the source of creation and the Phalgunis are the act of procreation & the product of it [5H = creation]
Purva Phalguni 🌙 Natalie Portman playing a ballerina who will do whatever it takes to make her dreams come true. These natives oftentimes drive themselves crazy in pursuit of fulfilling their own material desires and pleasures (as Bhaga rules bliss), as well as creative endeavors. Ultimately, this leads them to their own demise or “fall.” This can be seen in Natalie’s portrayal of the Black Swan, where she literally falls to her demise after doing whatever it takes to fulfill her dreams and satisfy her desires, including losing her soul to a much darker and demonic alter ego, which shows us how this nakshatra is the initial descent into “hell.”
Uttara Phalguni desires to control the lustfulness of Purva Phalguni in order to get out of hell. Only then can Uttara Phalguni cultivate substantial material abundance that can last for generations, rather than losing all morality and even one’s soul for success like in Purva Phalguni. Uphal teaches us that there is no way out but through. We learned this the hard way in Pphal, which represents the fatal desires that we uncontrollably “fall for.”
For over a year, I have been calling Purva Phalguni “Adam’s Fall,” as this nakshatra represents the lustful nature that man falls victim to when the cosmic Eve presents herself as the Fruit of Temptation which leads him to his fall. This is why we see Uttara Phalguni women dominating p*rn — it is Uttara Phalguni nakshatra that deals with the awakening of the cosmic woman/Eve to her own sexual and creative power that churns all of creation, which then inspires her to tempt man into losing himself for her own material gain and satisfaction (as these women desire comfort and security, which is implied by the bed and the contract symbolism). As Doja Cat said, “I can shake it and jiggle it ‘til his pockets empty” in her highly Uttara Phalguni-coded song, “Woman.”
This way of being connects to the consuming nature of Mother Earth, represented by Virgo, and Uttara Phalguni’s shakti to obtain wealth through union/marriage. Thus, one expression of an Uttara Phalguni woman is to “punish” men who are unable to control their lust by becoming the embodiment of all their desires for her own material gain $ (which may eventually lead to her fall as well).
During the recent Purva Phalguni New Moon we had last year, the masses suddenly began to pray on the downfall of the Carters (both Purva Phalguni) in association with D**dy (another Purva Phalguni native). The rumors the masses spread about the Carter’s directly align with the fundamental nature of Purva Phalguni nakshatra, which is to chase after luxury, pleasure and fame by any means necessary — even if it means sacrificing one’s soul, humanity, or life.
(see double Purva Phalguni Keanu Reeves’ role in “The Devil’s Advocate” as well as double Purva Phalguni Madonna’s “Material Girl” for more concrete examples of this phenomenon)
Princess Tiana (voiced by a Purva Phalguni sun) does whatever it takes to make her dreams come true, but her hard work seems to never pay off (remember that Purva Phalguni is the dream, Uttara Phalguni is the dream come true. Or, Purva Phalguni is the wish and Uttara Phalguni is the “wish-fulfiller”)
So, Tiana wishes upon a star and even kisses a frog in hopes of making her dreams come true, which leads to her “fall” (she becomes a frog). Meanwhile, Dr. Facilier tries to tempt her into selling her soul to him so that he can make her dreams come true. She refuses to do so, proving her hard work and integrity as worthy enough for her to earn her dreams. She ultimately does not fall for that temptation.
This is so similar to how double Purva Phalguni Keanu Reeves plays the son of Satan, and how Satan tempts him into selling his soul so he can fulfill his dreams of success, luxury, and his sexual desires as well.
In fact, there’s a very specific scene in the Devil’s Advocate where Satan says to his son, played by the double Purva Phalguni:
“Look, but don’t touch. Touch, but don’t taste. Taste, but don’t swallow.” 🍎🐍
This quote alludes to the temptation of falling for our sinful desires, just like Adam did when Eve handed him the fruit in the Garden of Eden.
