i hate how many posts about trans women deserving respect always devolve into "I love girldick" or "trans rights but I don't want to date a trans person" because that's entirely unrelated to the topic at hand. you should not respond to feminism with "YESSS I loveeee you because I see you as nothing but a sex object" you people sound like other men I get stuck talking with that end up saying "free the nipple so I can see boobies in public" and thinking they're feminists. why can't we just respect women regardless of your attraction to them or not. why does it need to be brought up in every conversation regarding their rights

Idk, I want to draw for fun again, and if I'm lucky overwrite my digital footprint from when I was 13 on Deviantart (challenge level impossible). If you want major skill inconsistency, monsters, creatures, poor renditions of my dreams, fanart from niches no one cares about, or the slowest ever special interest reveal: there's a 55% chance I'll ever post regularly.

Came outside to draw, with the aim of doing more dinosaurs, when my brain got unexpectedly overruled by my adventure to the farm cafe earliertoday, and accidentally goats instead.

Behold, the fauns from the hoof people setting! (I know I said I'd limit myself to four, but I was wrong. There's now a fifth one. Oops.)

Starring: the skinny one, the round one, the fluffy one, the old one and the tall one. I'll get to names eventually.

Wanted to push their shapes a bit from before, so that they aren't all just pear shaped, even if that is their basic form. Also the new fluffy one, who's basically 90% hair between waist and ankle. A.k.a. magnificent pantaloons.

Everyone should also now have distinct horn and ear shapes. Also I accidentally fell in love with the old one's face. I was not aiming for those shapes, but now that they happened, I am smitten.

I need to draw them next to the minotaurs.

My methods of coloring are quite limited out here, so I can't pin their colors down all properly, but I did get to plan their markings pretty well!

Except for the fluffy one. They're still so new I hadn't thought about their colors or markings yet, I just wanted floof. I must do more research later, but untill then, it's bedtime.

Over twenty years ago my big brother got me a job at a Taco Bell in the St. Louis suburbs-West County. He warned me that it was the “gay Taco Bell”, but since I was coming from the “gay Howard Johnson’s” I wasn’t shocked. It turns out it was the black trans women Taco Bell complete with black trans women in management. And they’d worked out an arrangement with the local teen Narcotics Anonymous group so that twice a week we would shut down the drive thru and the dining room and exclusively serve 60+ teens in various stages of recovery. And many of the women I worked with were in various stages of being out or transitioning and they were from all generations from teens to over 50. One woman I worked with had a regular corporate job presenting as a man 9-5 Mon-Fri and then came to Taco Bell and worked 6pm -2am Friday and Saturday night so she could be herself surrounded by other black transwomen in those stolen weekends. And we had customers come from all over the metro area because they knew they could be themselves in the dining room. I only worked there from 1999-2001 but for young me, this was a vital, formative experience. Some of the girls came from north city all the way out to the “gay Taco Bell” on Manchester in west county because they heard it was safe to work there. Like- I know times have changed but they haven’t changed much in 20 years. I’m still convinced that for lgbt youth, finding a job at your city’s version of the “gay Taco Bell” is key to survival.
