It’s a serious condition. Compulsive Shitposting Disorder. Every night I lie awake in bed, thinking about memes even when I know I want to be able to sleep. Sometimes I catch myself tapping away on a keyboard that isn’t there. I can’t talk to people for more than a few minutes before I wind up throwing out an internet reference. And every time, the look of bewilderment and confusion in their eyes is just another reminder that this will never go away; that I am stuck with this for the rest of my life, forever bound to browsing the depths of the internet to post and repost low-quality memes until the day I die. I can barely even come up with my own content anymore. Soon I’ll just be a meme replication machine. A reposter.

And yet despite me realizing this, I can’t do anything about it.
