"I'm sure it has... I was starting to wonder if I had been ghosted by you." Envy's eyes looked at the Spaniard from head to toe. "You look... Different. You get a haircut or something?" Her words were slow and careful, like conversation didn't come as easily as it used to.

Her head cocked a bit toward the left, and her arms crossed. "You definitely did something different with your appearance."

"Ah, hmm... Might have been all the sun from being outside? I know I got a trim a while ago," he laughed gently.

Guilt tugged at him. Nata-... Envy... Well. He hadn't seen her since the 90s... Not after he fled the country. It... was a tough call to make. He had genuinely enjoyed her company, those late nights he got back from the labs, where he could lounge and they watched old, cheesy movies together and blabbered about music. Where she had become a world famous pop idol, signing records, he was a wanted criminal and bio terrorist... It wasn't the life he wanted to bring her into, but fate had crossed their paths. Now to deal with it...

"Ah... I was missing home," he replied, keeping the response gentle and short. "No internet out there, I'm afraid... Just a lot of mail boxes... And you were starting to go on tour, so..." Excuse after excuse. He had gotten good at them, but guilt rolled in his gut. "I wasn't expecting you to be on tour here. But, hey! It is nice to see you!"

"Well, well, well... look what the cat brought in."

"Pretty big cat," he chuckled gently, settling across from Envy with a soft smile. "Envy... Been a while. Sorry I haven't been back to America... Things got busy..."

URGENT HELP NEEDED

I hate to add to the list of people in desperate need of cash but I just got home after getting into a pretty significant car crash. I AM TOTALLY FINE NO ONE WAS HURT AND THE CAR CAN BE REPAIRED but I have $50 in my account and I now am out of a car until the repairs are finished and my bills are coming due.

I will be getting a rental car as part of this but my insurance deductible and the court fees are going to cost me at least $600. I owe the fine before the repair work but I have at least $500 worth of bills coming in the next two weeks that need to be paid + $350 at the start of July.

I seriously dont know what to do other then ask for help, so whatever anyone can give I would greatly appreciated.

For everyone worried about Capcom not harking back to the cut content and specific imagery not being in the remake, the Umbrella Guard uniform is very similar to the Infantryman uniforms of German soldiers.

The Umbrella Logo is where the Nazi logo would be.

It is a callback to the scrapped storyline due to European rules about video game content back in the day.

I'm honestly hopeful about the CV remake. I'm not gonna complain until I play it, and then give my full thoughts. Is it looking sanitized? Sure. I'm not surprised. But I'm hoping still that they do my franchise favorite justice.

I adore writing Luis as Demisexual. Does he flirt? Yeah. Does he hold himself very confidently? Yes.

But you gotta understand, he does not like people getting close to him. He can wink and waltz, but the moment someone wants intimacy, unless they have crossed a certain point, Luis wouldn't bite. He sees himself as unclean, and not worthy of intimacy.
