What if the dead trio don't have their memories from Alien stage unlike the ones who did survive, leaving Till, Mizi, and Luka trying to mend or create the relationship they wished they could've had with their s/o and atone for the sins of their past selves, but each go about it differently?

My wish for this new season is for Ivan and Till to stop with the misunderstanding shenanigans and for Luka to visit Macdonalds

I would love to think that the new season will explore hate the way the first season did with "love" and how they overlap in the total mess of emotions, psychological trauma, and the complexity of their relationships with their s/o.

As we know Mizi did not heal, we do not know if Till found her or not (and if it's acually a reincarnation case then he probably didn't based on the caption, which is even more heartbreaking.) Leaving her still deeply scarred by incomprehensible horror from a world that doesn't exist anymore and living in one that cannot begin to understand her. That without mentioning the subject of her love and hate now alive and well and all the jumbled up feelings and the still very present grief that comes with it.

As for Till, he did manage to somewhere lead a good life. He faced his grief, built connections and healthy relationships (while simultaneously being a single mother, he honestly needs more credit for that), and grew significantly as a person. But that does not mean that he 100% healed since the hallucination of ivan is implied to still haunt him whenever he reaches rock-bottom.

And Luka... well... let's say he's definitely not living with love. if the utter dehumanization and objectification he's experiencing on the daily can even be called living at all.

So yeah them having the chance to confront the ones who died on them and get to work through all of this in a healthy, safe environment would be very healing (to all of us, acually.)

How season 2 could play out:

- Reincarnation. (Most likely in my opinion, plus the concept itself is very intriguing.)

- Parallel world.

- Hallucination.

- Purgatory. (Which is... just evil.)
