Hello! My name is PSL, and I write parental/platonic stories! I love reading and playing video games and (ofc) writing. I'm open to any questions and hope you have fun reading any of my stories!
For those who might not understand my 'PSL' thing, the obivous part is that PS stands for Parental Stuff, but then I also included my middle name intal, because I don't want my last name or first name intal out there... for some reason... Idk don't judge me. It does NOT stand for Pumpkin Spice Latte >:(
I love all of you and see ya!
Why haven't you responded to my request?
There are MANY reasons! I could maybe not have a great idea for it, I'm working on it right now, I'm busy on another request... Does this mean your request was bad? No. I'm just really slow and struggle when ideas don't come immediately, I will probably think for a few days before getting back to your request!
hi!! I love ur work so much, like I eat it breakfast, lunch, and and dinner… I saw ur requests were open and I was wondering if I could possibly ask for a fic w like anything u want, just w reader being extremely annoyed and logical all stuff, like if they were in a horror movie and the group said “we should split up!” They would immediately be offended and ask why on EARTH they would dare suggest that, if not totally fine :))
(So sorry if this is weird this is like my first time ever asking for this and if ur willing could I be 🥀 anon, totally fine if not)
I love ur work!!
Yay!!!!! Another anon!!!! Welcome, 🥀 anon! And I love this trope!!! Idk if I can do it justice... But enjoy!

WARNINGS: Stalking, betrayal (? Does that need a warning?), yandere behavior.
-------------------------------------
It started small. So small you barely noticed it.
With a small comment here, a gift there, random messages when you leave your house, a figure in the corner of your eyes...
But small things add up. You were getting more and more suspicious of one of your best friends. Or, old best friend.
------------------------------
Your friend group had suggested to see each other at a resturant since it had been so long a choice you were happy about
Of course, you and Ben did your usual game of chicken. He wouldn't respond until you did, ask what you wanted, and if you suddenly got ill, he would offer to take care of you instead. Which he always followed through on.
With no way around it except to ghost your friends, you texted you could come. Not 10 seconds later, Ben said the same thing. You groaned out loud.
Maybe it wouldn't be that bad! You couldn't really confront him about it without the rest of your friends thinking your crazy. You didn't have any hard proof he was stalking you, and you felt bad for your other friends.
You could survive one dinner. Then you would distance yourself.
Right?
--------------------------
When you got there, Ben was already there. He was sitting at the reserved table and waving with both arms when he saw you. You begrudgingly sat down across from him.
Next to him would've been worse, he would always wrap an arm around you and wouldn't let you move an inch the whole night.
"There's my star!" He greeted like always. The nicknames were another red flag that you noticed. "How have you been? Anyone been bothering you?"
You smiled politely, what else could you do? "I've been good, and no one's been bothering me." You got an idea. "Hey, I thought I saw you near my work...?"
You did see him. Very clearly. He just left before you could take a photo.
He instantly looked guilty and looked away. "Ah, no, I wasn't near ya!" He said, trying to smile his way out of it.
If you weren't sure already, now you were certain.
He was stalking you.
You were too lost in thought before he suddenly grabbed your hand, inspecting your hand throughly like he was being paid. "What is this?" He asked, a mix of concern and anger in his tone.
You looked where he was gesturing, it was a small cut, you were cutting some fruit for yourself when you nicked yourself. You had forgotten about it until now.
Rookie mistake.
He was now digging through his bag and applying a kiddie bandaid like a surgeon. This was a mistake. Your brain reminded you. You should've just ghosted them!
But then the rest of your friends came, like the saviors they were!
They were loud enough that you and Ben weren't forced to talk by yourselves, and they were helpfully surrounding you so Ben couldn't touch you.
Thank goodness.
When the conversation with your friends amped up but your battery was dying (espically with all the avoiding of Ben), you pulled out your phone.
It was finally time to move out of here and get that new job and get away from Ben. You open up the app where you were looking for houses and-
"Woah, what's that?" One of your friends innocently asks, peeking over your shoulder. You quickly swipe out the tab before Ben can see. You smiled calmly. "Just looking for a new job." Not a lie, but it'd be so far away from here that Ben couldn't follow you.
Speaking of Ben...
"A new job?!" He sounded horrified before he corrected it, your friends giving him weird looks. "I-I mean... Your job is great! Why do you want a new one?"
You shrug, trying to change the topic, when your dumb but innocent friend 'helpfully' fills him in. "Where have you been? She's been complaining about someone following her at work for months!"
Ben's eyes twitch.
You want to sink into the floor.
"You didn't tell me that!" He suddenly booms with a forced laugh. "I would've come over to help you out! Scare him a little."
Real smooth, there, Ben.
You tried to play it off. "I don't know, I think I'm just... Seeing things."
"Yeah! You probably are!" He laughs again, your friends share a look like they're just realizing how weird he really is. "Still, do you want me to check the place over again? I'd hate for you to leave work because of that..."
So he can feel guilt, that's new.
"No, it's fine." Please don't come back. "I'll get over it."
He gives you a look. One that says 'I don't believe you.'
You needed to have a serious talk with your friends. Without Ben.
------------
After everyone left dinner, you created a new group chat without Ben. You had been waiting to do this until you collected more evidence. Ben was very charming when he wasn't hovering over you like a puppy dog.
'Hey, we need to talk.' you typed. Your friends immediately replied with concern.
'Ofc! What do u need?'
'What's up?'
You sent them an address and went there, you just hoped Ben wouldn't follow you.
------------
You sat down across from your friends, Elijah and Emma. Both were pretty oblivous to everything, and Emma was way too eager to spill all the details about your life to Ben, so you had to be careful.
"So..." You started, you had to tell them. Everything. "Ben has been stalking me." You blurted.
Their jaws fell open. "A-Are you sure?" Emma asked sheepishly.
You nodded, you had to be firm. "Yeah, I am. I've seen him around work, he's been messagaing me non-stop, and... Yeah."
The two shared a look. "What can we do to help?" Elijah asked while Emma stared at the table.
"I... I'm moving away," Both immediately protested.
"Just get a restraining order!"
"Don't go that far, just stop hanging out with him!"
"I'm sure this is a misunderstanding!"
"Don't uproot your whole life for this!"
"I'm sure about this, guys." You say, a little more harsh than before. They had to understand. Had to. "The police won't help me, not enough evidence."
"Let us help with the evidence then!" Elijah offered. "I can't risk that, Ben is way too off the handle to try to bring you guys into this. I'm just telling you so you know to be careful around him."
"Yeah, of course." They said quietly. The mood was dark again, you tried to brighten them up. "We can still call and hang out, it's not like I'm disappearing!"
They didn't respond.
------------
Work. Again.
Stupid two week notice.
You started a mental timer and...
The door opened. That was new. You looked over to see (of course,) Ben. He looked out of breath when he entered, but happy to see you anyway.
"Morning Ben!" You greeted him like any other time. He smiled like you had told him he won the lottery or something.
"Morning, kid!" He boomed right back, he leaned against the counter. "Is that guy still around?" He looked around dramatically.
You forced a smile. "No, I haven't seen him in a while."
He sighed in relief, probably happy he didn't get caught. "Good, good. You need to stay safe and all." He stared at you for a moment. "I'm just worried about you, squirt. You have no self-defense."
You hated his geninue concern, like he hadn't been stalking you and making you jump at every shadow wondering what on Earth he's doing.
"Nothing has happened, this is a good town-"
"That's what you think!" He snapped randomly, his eyes blown wide in a manic worry. He ran a hand through his hair. "Y/N, you're just so... Fragile. Innocent. You have no idea what goes on around here. What happens to kids like you."
Geez, could he be any worse?! "I'm not a kid, Ben, you know that. And I'm not some lost kid wandering into the road!"
He stood straighter, eyes narrowing. "Don't talk back to me! You're still young at heart! I'm trying to help you!"
"I don't need your help!" You yell right back. "I'm an adult. Either accept that or go away."
He stared at you for a while.
Then he left.
You nearly collapsed in relief.
----------------
"Hey," Elijah greeted and sat across from you. Emma silently slid in beside you. "Everything been good?"
"Any updates?" Emma asked kindly, patting your arm. You sighed, rubbing your forehead. "A few."
Ben didn't leave you alone after your little fight. You woke up the next morning to find a plushie and book you were looking at earlier with a card. You were tempted to just throw it away, but you opened it.
It was a quick letter saying he was sorry for yelling and that you didn't deserve that. It was actually pretty sweet until you read the part where you said you were 'too young' to deal with stuff like that and that 'he was trying to protect you' but he 'messed up'.
You added the letter to your small but growing evidence pile.
He showed up at your work, again, and this time he tried to be as normal as he could be.
Which still involved him staying the whole day, chasing anyone who came in, and buying you lunch. "Relax, this is just how I'm apologizing for yesterday." He said as you ate.
Emma and Elijah seemed concerned for you, so you agreed to meet up again.
You explain all the new developments with a mix of dread at the situation but a small pang of fellowship, knowing your friends finally believed and wanted to help you.
"That's... Pretty bad." Emma agreeed, looking just as disturbed as you, Elijah nodded solemnly. "Are you going to try anything? Legally?" He asked.
"Yeah! We'll back you up." Emma agreed.
You just shook your head. "No, Ben has too much influence and I have no evidence." You sighed.
Emma and Elijah looked at each other worriedly. "Well, we'll be here if you need us." Elijah offers.
"Anytime." Emma adds.
--------------------
"Hey, kid!" Ben walks in, making every customer jump. You were so tired and you did not need this today. "Hi, Ben." You sigh, not wanting to deal with him.
He frowned immediately, reaching over the counter to pat your head. "Geez, you sound horrible, rough day? I told you you've been working too much!"
You winced at his touch and he ignored that. "I need the hours." You respond dryly, trying to get him to walk away.
He just moved from your head to pinch your cheek, you bat him away immediately. "You work too much for a little kid, you should be, like... Eating crayons or something."
You raised an eyebrow. You weren't a kid, and eating crayons? Really?
He shrugged. "What? I don't know what kids do in their free time."
You stepped back to pretend to clean something. "I'm busy, do you want to order something?"
He grinned, unbothered by your attitude. He actually seemed amused by it, like you were throwing a tantrum. "Just get me your favorite and get some for yourself too."
You needed to talk to your boss to see if you can get a black list. You ordered it all and he dragged you to sit with him for your break.
You sat across from him, eating to avoid talking, and debating asking a stranger for help, when Emma came in. She looked by the counter, realized you weren't there, and looked around.
"Is that Emma? What's she doing here?" Ben asked, mid wipe of a crumb on your cheek. "Don't know." You replied, watching Emma. "And stop it." You told him, waving his hand off for the fifth time.
"Your so messy, let me get it." He ignored your attempts and wiped it anyway, smiling again. "There, perfect." He said with a twinge of that obession that made you get chills.
Emma noticed you and walked over. "Hey... Y/N." She greeted, giving Ben a sideways look. "Ben," Ben leaned back, guilty about getting caught, and waved politely. "Hey, Emma. Why are you here?" His tone got territoral. That was new.
"Just wanted to see Y/N at work." Emma snapped. Her tone was aggresive, you felt happy for the defense on your side.
"Well, they're with me." Ben drawled, leaning closer to you. "You can go now."
"But-"
"Now." Ben's tone was murderous and Emma opened her mouth before running off. She didn't fully leave, she just waited outside the store.
"Well, my break is over." You said, standing up, making Ben immediately shoot up across from you.
Before you could even flinch, he darted forward and wrapped both arms around you, clutching you to his chest. "Alright, fine, fine." He huffed, squeezing the air out of your lungs. "See you later, bud." He kissed the top of your head and ran out before you could yell.
You glared at the door but then noticed...
Emma and Ben were... Talking. Emma looked serious but not mad... She looked...
Guilty.
Ben was smiling, maybe trying to charm her, or... Were they planning something? Emma kept whispering and looking around, they looked super suspicious.
Emma can't be with Ben. She can't. If the two are acting together, she could use everything you've told her against you.
You bite back the rush of dread and betrayal and go back to work. You could always move away if things get too rough, right?
Well, the house market was still crashing and you only worked at fast food jobs, so...
You pull out your phone, you need backup.
------------------------
You were with another friend, not Ben, not Emma, but Elijah. "Why am I here, Y/N?" He asked calmly like always. It was good to have someone as calm as Elijah to help calm you.
You stare down at your drink. "I think Emma and Ben are talking."
Elijah freezes, eyes going wide as he states at you before relaxing, looking down at his own drink. "I kind of suspected that." He admits.
That makes you look up. "What? Why? And why didn't you say anything?!" In this time of your life, you need all the support and knowledge available.
"Well, I wasn't sure at first." He sighs, running a hand through his hair. "But she's been talking to him more and more, defending him, and didn't she seem... Aggressive when you accused you?"
You think back to the first meeting... He was right. She wasn't painfully obvious, but it was enough.
"Okay," you breathed in. "Okay. What do we do?"
"We do what you've done with Ben. Distance ourselves but not obviously, whatever they're planning, we might make it worse if they know we know."
You lean back in your seat. All these rules and stalking and betrayals... Your head was starting to hurt from the stress. "I can't wait for everything to be over."
"Yeah, me too."
-------------------------------
You went to the store, the only other time you go out, until you could move out. Delivery was too expensive.
You left your cart to go inspect some fruit and when you came back there was a bag of your favorite snack. You were confused because you didn't even go near that isle, when arms wound around your waist.
"Surprise!" Ben's cheery voice rang out too loud in your ears. He noticed and immediately lowered his voice. "Whoops! Sorry, sweetie, sorry!" He didn't put you down. "Forgot about your sensitive little ears." He emphasized this point by kissing your temple.
Was it just you, or was he getting worse?
"Haha," you laughed awkwardly, managing to untangle yourself "Hi, Ben!" you force out, putting a good distance between yourself and him.
He responds by sliding closer. Seriously. He could not be more obvious if he tried. He had cornered you by the cart, looming over you.
"Hi, kid." He mumbled, voice weirdly intense. He slowly patted your head. "Why are you shopping this late?"
"Its not late."
"Its late if you're by yourself."
"Its the afternoon."
"Y/N."
You jerk back, making the cart slowly roll away as you catch it. "I have to keep shopping." You force out, then because he can't take a hint, "Alone."
He smiled, his previous cheer back. "Why go alone when you have me to go with? You might need help grabbing stuff."
"I can reach the top shelf." You glare. "I'm fine."
"Sure, sure, your tough as nails, sweetie." He said as he ruffled your hair again. He pushed past you and you're reminded of his strength, and grabs the cart. "Where's your list?"
"I don't need one, its in my head."
"Y/N!"
-----------------------
After managing to convince Ben to let you drive home alone, you nearly collapsed in relief. You had the receipt of the groceries that he paid for and the store was working on getting the video proof of him grabbing your cart.
Your evidence was getting bigger and bigger. You finally saved enough too! Just as you're about to message Elijah, a text from Emma appears.
"Hey! I've noticed we haven't talked recently, everything okay?? :("
"Ben is still stalking me but nothing new :P Thanks for checking up tho!!"
Then you message Elijah. "I've got enough evidence to at least threaten him, idk if its enough"
You add "Oh and I'm moving out next week, can you help without telling Ben or Emma???"
The reply was quick. "Of course, Y/N."
--------------------------------
It was your last day of your job and then you were out. Money would be tight but it'd be worth it.
Ben came in and you couldn't even be mad, this was the last time you'd deal with him. Finally!
"Hey, bud! You're look chipper this morning!" He smiled walking right up to the counter to pinch your cheek. Your good mood evaporated.
"Just slept good last night." You lied. You were up pretty late throwing yourself a party by yourself, Elijah had plans. Ben's hands suddenly cupped your face, fingers under your eyes.
You immediately jerk away. He doesn't flinch, looking deeply concerned. "You're eyes look a little tired up close, kiddo, are you sure?" His voice was sweetly soft, too soft.
"Yeah. Totally fine." Usually you're a better liar.
He shrugged, choosing his battles. "I'll have whatever you usually get."
"This is for me, isn't it?"
"You know me so well."
---------------------------
it was near the end of your shift, Elijah came to distract Ben while you went on break, sneaking outside to breathe for a minute while Elijah was yapping who knows what to Ben.
You felt a sense of calm wash over you, but it was broken by the sound of a familiar voice. "Y/N?" You turned to face Emma.
"Hey," you waved quietly, watching her face. She looked concerned and hurt.
"Why haven't you been talking to me recently?"
You stared.
"Sorry, that was blunt..." she back tracked. Did she not know? Was she that dumb? Did she think you were that dumb?
"Busy, I guess. Ben is exhausting..." It was partly a lie, you weren't busy but Ben was making you crazy.
"Are... Are you sure? I just felt like you and Elijah are always together now and wasn't Elijah closer to Ben?"
Was she...?
"I mean, they were always talking! Before we knew about how crazy he was, Ben was his best friend! Ben is still always at my house to see him!" She was rambling.
She was lying, she lied before... Right? This was a trick, trying to get you away from safety. Maybe she knew! You felt shaky and dreadful but yoh didn't back down.
"Do you have proof?"
"Well, no-"
"Elijah has always been on my side, he doesn't care about Ben anymore after what I told him."
She stared at her feet.
"My break is almost over." You spat, turning around. You felt a weird sense of deja vu, Emma kinda sounded like you did when you tried to explain to the cops about Ben. "Goodbye."
"You're making a mistake, Y/N." She called after you. You paused but didn't turn back. "I won't be able to stop him."
You turned, confused. "You never stopped him."
"I wasn't talking about Ben."
------------------------------
After carefully dodging his offer to drive you home, you made it back and decided to get started moving. You grabbed some old boxes, tape, and sharpies.
You decided to pack up all your evidence first. Writing 'fragile' on it and hoisting it up. It was light, but it felt heavy with your new life ahead. It was your safety.
You heard a car and ran out with the box in your arms. Elijah was there but his face was grim. He noticed you and moved closer.
"Hey!" You greeted happily. "We did it, right?" You tried to cheer him up but his face was the same. "Is... Everything okay?"
"I'm sorry."
Your blood went cold, replaying Emma's warning in the back of your mind. "What?"
He looked at you, his eyes remorseful. You heard a car door and looked past him.
Ben's car.
"Oh, kiddo..." He cooed, moving past a frozen Elijah "You didn't think I would let random people become your friends, did you?" He laughed sweetly. "You're shaking."
You didn't even realize. Your eyes were trained on Elijah. He looked down again, shame radiating off of him. "Its for your own good." He said quietly.
"No," you argued. "Its not."
You threw your pile of evidence at Ben, making him fall a little back with an 'Oof!' As you ran.
You didnt look back. You didnt wait. You left your evidence.
You made it out of your neighborhood when the sound of tires was nearby. You jumped into a nearby bush. "...Find them! Now!" Ben's voice was scared and terrifying.
The car drove past your spot, you waited a minute before darting out and running back the way you came. You made it home, Ben had left the box, but it was broken. It must've been thrown by Ben in the chase.
You knelt by it, opening the box. The USB was smashed, the letter crumpled, the receipt blew out of the box and into the wind. You didn't try to grab it.
You knew you had to get out, you had to get into your car and drive to your new house-No, a new one. One no one knew about. You had a new plan laid out in your head.
Wet droplets hit the letter, you didn't even realize you were crying. This was all so much, you though you did everything right. You did! Why was life like this?!
"Y/N? Y/N?! Oh, sweetheart!" Ben's arms were around you immediately, he fell to his knees with a thud, pulling you tightly against his chest.
He held you like it would be the last time, like he could squeeze out all your tears, like you were the only thing that mattered to him. Maybe you were.
One giant arm was wound around your back, tight and heavy, so so heavy... Another was on the back of your head, holding you much more gently, fingers tangled in your hair and keeping your face in his shoulder.
He let out a shuddering breath. "Shh... Shh... It's okay... Its okay..." His voice was shrill, maybe even he was crying now too. Your teary eyes slowly lifted, trying to be able to breathe. You met Elijah's eyes above you.
He was smiling.
------------------------
Sorry its been so long! I wanted it to be perfect! While I don't think reader is that smart, Ben isn't either, and this isn't perfect, im happy with the ending and I hope you all are too, thanks for reading I love all of you and see ya!

No one noticed I forgot the warnings for a minute there right?
I have no idea if this is a dumb ahh ask, but how would the platonic yanderes act to their child calling them any parental/platonic title (like 'dad' or in Lily's case 'daughter') for the first time? (Excluding everyone's favorite police dad bc, ya know…)
This isn't a dumb ask at all! It's quite cute to imagine
Julian would pause whatever he was doing, becoming completely still for a moment, smile frozen in place, before smoothly turning to his dear boy and answering like he would any other time but an observant eye would see the way he subtly but completely softens for a while after that
Brie would play it off at first, maybe ruffling her bunny's hair or teasing them about it, but then she would get quiet as she looks at them and asks if they really do see her as their big sister, still in her own way of course but completely vulnerable like she had never been before
Leon would immediately and visibly perk up, instantly responding to his angel and drop whatever he was doing, fully switching to soft big brother mode even if he had literally been threatening someone a second before, he wouldn't make a big deal out of it but in that moment he's simply Leon again, the boy with his mother's heart
I mean I kind of already did this with Adriel since it's kind of a plot point in his introduction and also a turning point in his story already so I'm just going to skip him
Lily would freeze up in surprise, breath hitching and her eyes immediately snapping to her parent as she goes completely still, simply staring at them for a long time, searching their expression for... Something but then after a moment she would look at them, a look showing so clearly the little girl she truly is, silently asking if they truly mean it
Somehow part 1 is my most popular post even tho it isn't written well??? Well ty all anyway
PART 1
@parentalstuff Heres part 2! hope you enjoy
CW: Panic attack? Idk reader is stressed. Vomit, vomiting. Not really detailed
You breathe heavily, back resting against a soft wolf pelt that you don't even want to think where a dragon could have possibly gotten that from. You don't wanna think about anything right now. You're trembling, eyes full of terror.
The dragon cracks an eye open, staring at your terrified face. It only makes you more scared. "Sleep, human." He commands, getting closer. "I'll keep you warm." Your vision is blurry. You can't breathe. You feel so nauseous. You-
You gag, vomiting on the pelts in front of you. The dragon snaps its eyes open, staring at you. "Oh. You are sick." You let out a sob, coughing hard. The dragon gently picks you up in its foot, setting you out of the nest. You nearly drop to your knees as the dragon gently nudges you closer into the cavern. "Go. Clean yourself up."
"Hic.." You sob, stumbling forward. You blink, suddenly coming face to face with a stream. In a cave? You didn't know that was possible. You wipe away your tears as you clean yourself up and take a few drinks of the water.
You flinch when you suddenly hear the sounds of bones breaking and growling. Oh god..is he eating someone!? You need to leave, now! Ah, you know! The stream must have an exit! You turn, running as fast as you can.
"Human!" You hear the dragon yell, and you refuse to look back. You don't even hear him. All of a sudden, theres just a hand grabbing your shoulder and stopping you in your place. "Are you okay, human? Did the water scare you?"
You slowly turn, coming face to face with a human. You let out a much needed sigh of relief. The man has tan skin, red wavy hair that flows down to his ankles, and blue eyes. "Shh!" You hush him, and the man tilts his head.
You grasp his hand, pulling him along. He must have been kidnapped just like you. "Lets hurry, before the dragon notices we are gone!" The man stares at you in confusion, but follows anyway. "What game are we playing?"
"No game! We can't let the dragon catch us!" You whisper yell back. What a fool. You must protect-
The man laughs, stopping his walking. You turn to look at him, raising an eyebrow. "What a cute human." He coos, patting your head. "I am the dragon." Suddenly, two wings sprout out of his back. Smaller than his dragon ones obviously, but still big. It all makes sense now. He looks exactly like the dragon! And the dragon would never allow anyone else to enter. "Now, come along-"
The dragon grasps your hand, and you yank it back. "No! I want to go home!!" You yell, turning and running as fast as you can. The dragon tilts his head.
"Did my human form scare you? I haven't taken it for a few hundred years, but I thought I did pretty good." He hums, quickly approaching. "Come. Let us go back to the nest."
He grabs you again, and you thrash. "No, NO!!!" You screech, fighting with all of your might. Your heart is pounding. You feel like you're going to be sick again. You bite him, not even making an indent on his tough skin.
"None of that, human. If you are hungry, then you must tell me." The dragon simply pulls you along, ignoring your resistance. He sets you back down in the nest, and by now you're crying.
"I-I wanna go home!" You sob.
"Why?" He asks.
"Because..hic..Because I have a family!"
"You do. And yet, that family is not marching up this mountain right now. They haven't come to save you."
You simply stare at him. He's right. They haven't come. You watched the dragon mash something into a wooden bowl, and then hold it up to your lips. "Some good herbs will soothe your stomach. With honey and berries of course. No yucky taste."
You eat it, processing. Your parents weren't the most loving, but you didn't think they would just let this happen. You finish up the herb mixture, and the dragon wipes your face.
Suddenly, you hear the sounds of approaching footsteps. Many footsteps. They..They came! You knew they wouldn't let you be kidnapped! You scramble out of the nest, the dragon following. You make it to the entrance of the cavern, and the dragon pulls you to his side before you can get close.
After all, its a long fall when you're on the middle of a mountain. Your heart sinks. The only way to get up here is by flying. You distantly hear the voice of the village chief. "Dragon!" He yells.
"Hmm?" The dragon responds. "Speak."
"You stole one of our people!"
You feel so happy. You're going to cry happy tears-
"We demand compensation! 100 gold coins!"
You crane your head to peer down at the men from your village, seeing your father in the crowd. "Hic!" You whimper, turning and burying your face in the dragon's chest.
"What's wrong, human!?" He asks frantically, patting your back.
"Make them leave!" You sob. The dragon picks you up, walking back to the nest. He lays you inside, and you notice the pelts are clean of vomit. He presses a gentle kiss to your head. "I shall be back."
You don't watch him walk away, curling up and closing your eyes. You don't know what he did. You simply covered your ears when the screaming starts. He comes back an hour later, sliding in along inside you. "I shall protect you, human." He pulls you so you're resting on his chest, and you slowly fall asleep. He better. He's all you have left now.
He got here at least twenty minutes ago, the secretary sent you a message, you almost laughed out loud in the middle of a reunion. What an uptight guy.
“Mister Berger really didn’t show up?"
“Nah, when the guy says he can’t come he really doesn't, not even answering messages.”
His displeasure is clear, you were unsure at first, but now it’s undeniable he despises the guy. Understandable, considering what he’s investigating, you also don’t think you could handle seeing him today, fists would fly.. He’d beat you to a pulp, though. Berg was huge.
“My car is parked outside, please follow me.”
It’s a beautiful black car, his intention was probably being discreet, it suits him. He opens the door for you, closing it after.
“Wow, how organized, even taxis don’t keep their cars clean like that, it looks new!”
He smiles slightly, it's a nice sight.
“I’ve had this one for years, I just vacuum a lot. Normally there’s no passengers.”
“I’ll try not to make a mess then!”
“Don’t worry about that. Seatbelt?”
You laugh, he must be around your age, but he acts as if he’s way older.. Like an uncle or something. Wait, is he around your age?
…Better not ask, it’s not polite.
“Yes, sir.”

The agency was a funny place, not at all what you expected, full to the brim with all kinds of eccentrics, detectives with big red bow ties, some using deerstalkers and smoking pipes. Well, to be honest, that’s actually more in line with what you think when someone says “detective”. Kenneth’s the weird one, being so serious.
His office felt like another world, a stark contrast from the eccentric detectives and colorful brown walls outside. A small room with gray walls, black table with an old computer and lots of filing cabinets, at least the armchairs looked comfortable.
“Wait.. Is this?”
A small table for kids in the corner of the room, pink, with 2 green chairs, above it there was a lot of paper and drawing supplies.. Markers, crayons, pencils, you name it, all nicely tucked into a pen holder.
“In case someone has a kid.”
“That’s so cute!!”
It looks very organized, makes sense, considering how systematic Kenneth is. It’s a little sad, those tables are meant to be messy!
“You can draw, if you want.”
He’s looking at you, you want to deny, but the words die in your mouth, no reason in particular, you just look at his serious face and feel, somehow, that’d make him feel better.
These scribbles don’t look bad at all! Maybe being an artist was the career for you, way better than working in a small office..
“That’s all, thank you for your cooperation.”
Jumping, you look at Kenneth, but he doesn’t look offended by your distraction.. Face showing the ghost of a smile.
“May I see what you drew?”
Having no heart to deny, you give him the page, face reddening by how seriously he looks at it, as if analyzing every detail.
“It looks very nice.”
“Thank you!”
“Come, I'll give you a ride back home.” You deflate in relief, it’s obvious he’d offer, but you were still scared of the possibility of having to pay a taxi all the way to your house.
Kenneth doesn’t return your drawing.
Who cares, it’s just random doodles.
-
Frigid air hits your face, it’s already that time of the year? The streets look even colder under the purple sunset sky, you see an older man hide his kid under an oversized beanie, it’s a funny sight.
“Wha!” Something fluffy and warm attacks! You’re enveloped by a comfy coat, its insides are soft and woolly, it smells like vanilla.
“No! No! No! You’re going to be cold!!”
That guy! He’s already walking towards the car! You enter the passenger seat quickly.
His coat looks big on you, it has less to do with your size, Kenneth’s the one comically tall, you recall thinking he looked kinda awkward sitting on his small office chair.. His legs were probably all weird trying to fit under the table.
Looking at the window, the lights at the city start turning on, leaving a luminescent trail you follow from the corner of your eye. Resting on the cold window, you quietly bring the coat closer, a hint of vanilla hangs around as you watch the sky darken.
“Hrnn.”
“....Keys? I just—” Dammit.. Shut up.
“What?!” Covers fall to the floor, you’re sitting up in seconds… In your room? The lights are off, except the small lamp by the bedside, there’s a note next to it.
“You were sleeping by the time we got here.
I woke you up, but you seemed out of it, so I took you to bed.
I’m writing this in case you don’t remember what happened.
Sgd. Kenneth Murphy
PS: You kept mentioning vanilla ice cream, so I passed by that market close by. It’s in the fridge. Keys on the table.”
Everything got dark.. It's the end, it's truly the end. Sitting on the floor, you hide your face behind cold hands, how can you just sleep in someone else's car?! He still has the nerve to leave a purple glittery letter, with your pen! It’d be less humiliating if he just kicked you out the car the moment your house got into view.
You need water.
Downstairs, opening the fridge, you almost pass out.
“Detective Murphy!”
It’s a big pot of ice cream.
-
There’s a lot of things you expect, overtimes, boring reunions and old noodles.. Becoming friends with Detective Murphy was not one of the things in that list.
“Are you crazy?! That restaurant is so pricey, I’m scared of getting close to the entrance! Maybe they’ll charge me for that too.”
“I can take you.”
“Only if you’re willing to wait at least twenty years for me to finish paying.”
He rolls his eyes, “I don’t want you to pay me.”
For the last two weeks, he’s been taking you home after your shifts. It’s hard to remember exactly when it started, but you both fell into this routine quickly. It's weird, but very helpful.
"What's up?"
“Huh?”
“I see you looking at my hands, speak up, dude!”
“Your burns. Are they healing properly?”
Throwing your hand at him, it stops centimeters before his face, he doesn’t flinch, but his eyes widen a bit.
"Look for yourself if you're so worried."
Analyzing your hand, his gaze softens.
“It’s almost healed.. That’s good..”
“....Your bandages..”
“Oh, I ripped those off! If I went to work with those kiddie bandages, I wouldn't hear the rest of it!” And, imitating a particularly annoying coworker, you continued “Is that a bandaid? Did you get a booboo? Do we need to kiss it better?”
There’s no laugh, looking up to meet his gaze, your own turns in surprise.
He looks sad.
His investigation required him to visit your office often, talking to employees, meeting up with your boss.. He’s practically known by now, the secretary messages you every time he comes here, even when it’s not for you.
Which is why this should come as no surprise.
You don’t know what you were expecting.
“I told you— I don’t know anything.”
“Shut up! Shut up, shut up!” Running a hand through his hair, Berg walks around deliriously.
It happened so quickly, going back to the office after leaving some packages in the mail, only to feel a trembling hand on your shoulder.
Now, Berger is walking from side to side in front of you in the middle of a back alleyway.
There’s a textbook number of things that should be done in a situation like this, calm him somehow, try to get any sort of help.. Just anything besides standing there terrified, but you felt adrenaline coursing through your veins, and your brain was mush.
“Just tell me.. Did you say something? Anything?! I.. You know me, whatever they’re saying, it’s all.. It’s not—”
Screaming in frustration, he kicks a trashcan. It makes your legs weak. His gaze turns.
“Look, Berg..”
Your collar is grabbed, the whole world spins on it’s handle when he pulls you roughly to stare at him, downright manic, eyes bloodshot. A monster.
You’re left tiptoeing, Berg was huge, huge.. If he felt like it, god, if he had a quick lapse in judgement, you’d be a red smear on the dirty pavement.
There’s only one person you know taller than Berg… And suddenly, there’s fragments everywhere, memories that became so dear to you in such a short time.. His coat, smiles that were never fully there, observant eyes and calm hands patching you up.
Eyes tearing up, you feel so much smaller.
“I’m being nice, I need help. I’m in deep shit for something I didn’t fuckin’ do! Ye hear me?!”
“Answer!!”
“Look.. Alright, that’s how we’re gonna do this. If you don’t tell me.. I’ll beat you up. Please, please. No one is answering me.”
A laugh almost escapes, he’s desperate, not even him seems convinced in his suggestion, beating you up would just make his situation worse, if he’s really innocent, that’d actually be incriminating himself further.
“Berg—”
The world turns, everything darkens quickly, and like an old tv, it’s back on, you’re face first in the pavement, your cheek burned.
“Gnrhm..” You can’t form words, there’s a cut in your mouth.. Everything seems hazy and your eyes dart around.
“Fucking shit!”
Hand on his mouth, it looks like he’s about to take off.
He doesn’t.
He kicks you in the stomach, there’s no time for your body to get into a better position to alleviate, moments later, it’s your noise. A terrible gargled sound echoes somewhere… You don’t have the mind to think.
Soon, your body gives up trying to move and protect, maybe it hopes it’ll be quicker this way. Your erratic heartbeat mixes with the impact sounds inside of your skull.
That’s embarrassing.
-
“Please, please. Can you hear me? I just need a sign, squeeze my hand. Please.”
It’s too bright. That’s probably your first coherent thought after fighting the pain to open your eyes, is your face moist?
But it’s the second sight that sticks with you, Kenneth, he covers the light quickly, he’s all that you see.
He looks terrified, hair disheveled and glasses foggy, was that really the same man you came to know during these last few weeks.
“There you are, can you understand me? Nod if you can. Hello?”
Eyes drifting, everything gets darker before getting bright again, it feels like you’re in a rollercoaster without a seatbelt. Something catches your gaze, blood.. No, it’s not that blood, that’s everywhere, there’s something– someone, on the floor.
“No!”
Kenneth lifts you up easily, it should’ve been gentler, more careful, he doesn’t have time for careful right now. You almost vomit, but no sound comes out of your mouth still.
“I need you to keep listening to me. Don’t need to answer, just focus on what i’m saying, alright.”
But how can you? When his voice cracks at the end of every phrase and your body seems to be falling at the seams. It’s difficult to breathe, there’s something on your throat.
“...Kenneth.”
His guttural scream rings loud in deaf ears.
-
It feels like an anvil is crushing your whole body, your eyes burning when you get them open.
“Don’t move around so much.”
Kenneth looks at you, a sudden flash of his horrified face under bright city lights comes quickly, refreshing your memory.
“Berg..” His brows knitted. It’s not displeasure, it’s pure rage, he looks furious. Something that dissipates just as soon as it came, replaced by other emotions as he watches you.
Trying to flex an arm, you find it bandaged, it’s not just that, you’re full of gauze and bandaids. “You were hurt–” the words seem to catch on his throat “Bad. It was very bad.”
“I got to the office, you weren’t there. I knew something was off right away, then someone came to me, said they saw Berger around town, acting weird. I ran, i thought—”
Kenneth looked destroyed, self hatred written deeply into every line his face shows now. “I knew, I should've kept a closer eye. That bastard..” Reaching his hands, wide brown eyes stare at you while his mumbling dies down.
They’re not gloved, you’re not surprised by how soft his hands are. Kenneth grabs your hand, stares at it. “So fragile.”
There’s no answer. Everything feels slow.
“Hospital?”
“No, we’re in my house.”
You noticed. It was more of a “why?”, but your tongue doesn’t move. He continues, “..You were badly injured, there was no time to get you to one, I had the supplies.. And the ability.”
Despite how heavy your body felt, you threw yourself into a sitting position, Kenneth’s arms flew up, as if you were made of glass. As if you’d break into a thousand pieces at any second.
“I ‘eel sluggish’..”
The couch trembles as he sits down next to you.
“I gave you a sedative.” Maybe your face contorted, because he explained right after “...You probably don’t remember. When I was bandaging, you woke up and held me tightly, scared, small.. You said–” A side-eye is sent your way, you already look half asleep.
“Nevermind, you won’t remember this either.” His tone is fond.
Kenneth almost jumps in surprise when he feels your head hit his shoulder, he extends a careful arm to your sides, holding you closer. With dazed eyes, you search his face, he’s smiling, a real smile, cracked around the edges.. He has dimples.
Drifting off, there’s a distant feeling that nothing will ever be the same. Maybe it’s Kenneth’s smile as he holds you and watches the cold drops of rain hitting his window.
Maybe it’s the fact your drawing is glued to his fridge.

--------------------------------------
You got to work pretty early. It was just your basic office job and you were a newer employee... Yet you still met the boss almost every day, even though you weren't her assistant.
Your boss was the one and only Quinn Kingsley, famous for her charity donations to orphans, known for her silent nature, and her reclusiveness.
Except for you apparentally.
It felt like almost every hour, you heard her voice or saw her wave you over to do the simplest of tasks.
The first time it happened, you were just in your first few weeks of working there and still had the new-comers energy. You were just about to go to lunch when a voice behind you made you jump.
"We hire children?" Quinn's voice was more confused than anything, eyeing you up and down. You turn around, recongizing her instantly.
"Mrs. Kingsley!" You gasp, trying to appear professional. She just stared at you.
"How old are you?" She asked, narrowing her eyes in suspicion. When you told her your age, she shook her head in disbelief. "...Alright, then." She said, leaving without another word.
You brushed it off as her not meeting most employees or being from another time where people looked older. Or maybe you just had a baby face. Who knows why she assumed you were so young!
You scrambled to get to lunch, getting lost in the giant building, and found Quinn again. "Oh, hello again." She greeted, her eyes flickered to your lunch box. "Lost?" She asked with a knowing smile.
"Oh! Um... Yeah." You admit sheepishly. Was it a bad idea to talk to the CEO like this? Would she be insulted?
She gestured for you to follow her and you did. She showed you the lunch room where all heads turned to you, standing next to Quinn.
The room fell silent and you quietly sat a table with a quick thanks to Quinn, she smiled at you before disappearing.
"Wow, I've never seen her down here before." A co-worker sat with you without asking. You didn't mind that much. He went on. "Usually she just sits in her office all day, and if she does come down, someone gets fired."
At your worried expression he was quick to correct himself. "Not you, though! Mrs. Kingsley would've fired you already if that was the case."
"...I guess you're right." You agree.
He beams. "Of course I'm right, I've been here for years." He offered his non-sandwich hand. "The name's Mike."
You take his hand. "Y/N," You introduce.
"Nice to meet you, Y/N."
-----------------------------------
The next work day, you were just minding your own business at your desk, when Quinn showed up again. Remembering your conversation with Mike, you duck your head and listen.
...You don't hear any people getting fired. Her footsteps approach closer and closer, making you feel even more anxious. She appears at your desk.
Pleasedon'tfiremepleasedon'tfireme you think to yourself.
"Y/N?" She asks, staring at you in a way that made you shift in your seat.
"...Yes....?"
"My office, please."
Great. You were getting fired. You defeatedly follow her to her office (Was it always on the same floor as you?) and she closes the door behind you.
You took a seat begrudgingly and she sat across from you, still staring. Did she ever stop looking at you? It made the unease in your stomach grow.
Since you wore your heart on your sleeves, she noticed immediately. "Don't be worried, Y/N, you're not in trouble." She said softly. You relaxed.
"I'm not fired?" Was that a bad thing to ask? You were just so nervous and stressed you weren't really thinking.
"No!" She yelled too quickly, clearing her throat. "No, you're not. I'm here to tell you I think you've been working too much and too hard."
You stare at her.
"I'm now giving you a new project to work on." You could do that, espically if you weren't getting fired. "I need you, twice a day, to do a lap around this floor."
...What?
"And check in with me when you're done."
"Mrs. Kingsley, is that... Effiecitant?"
"Are you talking back to me?" Her icy voice was back. You straightened. "No, Mrs. Kingsley!"
"Good," Her voice softened. "Now go on, the work day is almost over and you still need to get your steps in."
"Yes, ma'am." You tell her and begin to leave. Just as you reach the door, you notice a book on her table. What your child needs to be doing. Huh.
-----------------------
Lunch was your favorite time of the day. You saw Mike and he was a very fun guy. He would always ramble about the most random things or gossip with you.
It hadn't been more than 10 seconds since you entered the lunch room when an arm was slung around your shoulders. "Y/N!" He boomed. "Was getting worried for a second there!"
He steered you to your guys' usual table. "How have you been? Work been good?" He asked carefully.
"I've been fine, Mrs. Kingsley is giving me weird jobs though." You answer. His face twitches with annoyance at the mention of Quinn. He shakes his head in disapproval. "That woman," He grumbles. "Making you work so hard..."
"No! Not that like that!" You intervene. "More, like, useless jobs. I've been having to walk around my floor, reorganize her bookshelf in her office, write a report on some of those books, and she made me color last quarter's stats."
He listened before nodding slowly. "Hate to say it, kiddo, but I think I might agree with her."
You gape at him. "What? You always talk about how much you dislike her!" It was true, he had some kind of grudge with her, she did too.
He shrugs. "You're pretty restless, Y/N, the walking will be good for you. And don't you love reading anyway? I bet you loved looking at all her books."
"Well, yeah." You admit. "But still! I'm an employee not a reckless child!"
He smiled at you. "Tell you what, next time you go on your little walks, I'll come with you!"
"Really?" You smile at him gratefully. He chuckles and pats your arm. "Anything for you, kiddo."
----------------------------
Getting ready for your walk, you were happy to see Mike appear out of the elevator. "Ready?" he asked, standing beside you. You nodded and the two of you began walking around.
He was clearly loving walking with you, pointing out the people and giving their history.
"See that guy? He spilled coffee all over the place his first day working here, he's been here for 5 years and still at the bottom!"
"That girl over there by the vending machine? She broke up with Liam on floor 5 because he had a long distance girlfriend..."
You two had gotten so caught up in talking that you walked almost a mile in circles. You were still chatting mindlessly with Mike when you bumped into someone.
"Sorry-" You start before noticing Quinn, glaring. Not at you, but at Mike.
"Johnson."
"Kingsley."
You looked between them as they death-glared each other. Guess they really did have history. Quinn clears her throat and turns her attention to you again.
"You alright?" She asked, her voice softer and kinder than when she spoke to Mike. You were confused on why she was asking that when her gaze flickered to Mike's suspiciously.
You nodded quickly. "Yeah! Sorry, I was talking to Mike about it and he offered-"
"The project is only for you, Y/N." She reminded, Mike huffed. The 'project' was getting to be quite annoying, you thought.
"Back to your work, Johnson." She ordered. He scoffed and with a final pat on your back, got on the elevator and disppeared. "Why do you call him by his last name?" You asked Quinn without thinking.
"Because," She answered vaguely, straightening a bit. "Why do you call him Mike?"
"...Becuase that's his name?"
"You call me Mrs Kingsley."
"You're my boss."
You two stared at each other, you were confused on why she was pushing about this, and she was confused on why you would ever need to adress Mike.
"Then call me Quinn from now on."
"I don't think-"
"It's not optional."
You tried not to groan. "Okay, Quinn." It felt weird to say that but she relaxed when you did, squeezing your shoulder. "You did good today, take it easy, alright?" Her voice was soft again before she went back to her office.
-----------------------------
Mike had started showing up much more often than before. Even though Quinn had told him he wasn't meant to be running around on the wrong floor, he came anyway.
It started slow. 5 minutes before lunch. Then 10, 15, 20... To the point that he was there about an hour earlier. He would pretend to duck behind you if anyone looking like Quinn approached because if she saw him, she'd shoo him away and you'd sit in her office until lunch.
The more the two interracted, the more you realized they had a lot more history than you knew. Yet, neither would tell you anything.
One day, you and Mike went to lunch when you noticed your table already had someone sitting there.
Quinn. Eating her own lunch innocently. You and Mike shared a look, you shrugged and sat next to her. She nodded to you in greeting.
When Mike was about to sit down, she spoke up. "Not so fast, Johnson. Go back to your office and bring me an update from last weeks meeting."
He glared at her, she glared back, until you cleared your throat and he left with a few choice words under his breath.
"How are you, Y/N?" She asked, you barely paid attention to her stares and soft voice anymore.
"I'm fine, just the normal work stuff." As normal as Quinn's orders can be...
She smiled, a sight so rare a few people looked over in surprise. "Good. You know you can tell me if you're facing any problems right?"
"Uh... Yeah..."
She stared at you expectedly. You stared back. "What do you say?" She drawled patrionizly.
You blinked. "Oh... Thank you?"
She nodded and patted your shoulder. "Yes, good job. And you're welcome." She got up and stared at you for a moment, her eyes reflecting something you haven't seen in her before.
"Come to my office later, alright? Whenever you want."
"Okay, thank you, Quinn." She smiled again, wider and it made her eyes crinkle, before she left. She passed Mike who shoved the papers at her. He saw you were done and groaned.
"She did that on purpose!"
"Why would she do that?"
"Kiddo, you're really blind."
----------------------
The next few weeks went by quickly, everyone had started paying attention to you. Mike's visits ramped up and Quinn had been going to lunch more often, ignroing everyone except you.
Other co-workers started asking about it, if you knew Quinn in some way or if Mike helped you get this job, you denied all of it. But since Mike was deep on the gossip tree, he knew they didn't believe you.
Eventually, after the torture of it all, you were leaving work when a familiar voice caught up to you. Mike!
Sure, everything was stressful, but Mike and Quinn were actually nice people. Plus, work got easier and easier the more you hung out with Quinn.
"Hey bud!" He greeted as he ran up to you. "Whatcha doing?"
You shrugged. "Probably gonna go home and watch a movie or something."
"Nice! Do you wanna come over to my place and watch one instead?"
You hesitated. You and Mike were close, yes, but still... He had been acting weirder lately. Asking about decorations and houses you liked and being more fidgety and nervous as the days went by.
But he just grinned at you. "Oh, c'mon, I'm not that bad. I'll make dinner! You know how good my lunches are!"
He was an amazing cook. He made sandwiches because they were quicker, but whenever you asked about it, he'd tell you how to make crazy meals and always brought it the next day for you two to share. (He feeds it to you and doesn't eat any of it)
Giving up, you nodded. He beamed and gave you his address. You two split up but when you got in the car, you checked your phone and saw a message from an unknown number.
"Are you okay?"
"Don't listen to Mike."
"Don't go."
Maybe someone on your floor found your number and was pranking you. Who else would do something like this? You ignored the messages and went to Mike's house.
He was already standing on the porch for you. "Y/N!" He yelled, waving aggressively as you pulled into his driveway. He hugged you when you got out of your car. You hugged back.
"Were you waiting out here for me?" You asked confusedly while you two hugged.
He squeezed you a little teasingly. "A little. Had to make sure you made it safely." He paused. "I wasn't waiting for long, don't worry." With one final dramatic squeeze, he released you and went inside.
"Arighty, you wanna pop on a movie and get settled on the couch while I serve us dinner?"
"Sure, where are your movies?"
"Upstairs, there'll be a case of 'em."
You climbed the stairs and easily found the DVDs, you shifted through them and noticed that it seemed... Empty. There were only children's movies as well.
You also noticed a child's room across from where the case was, the color you recomended to Mike. He really did listen to you! You took your favorite childhood movie and came downstairs to the best smell.
"What are you making?" You asked as you came back downstairs and into the kitchen. You watched him cook with fasination. He was so diligent when he was cooking, nothing like the relaxed laid-back guy at work.
He told you the name of it but you had no idea what it was so just nodded politely. He noticed the movie you chose. "Good pick! Go turn it on."
"Hey, Mike?"
"Yeah, kiddo?"
"Why do you only have kid movies? And a children's room? Do you have a kid?" You asked as you began the movie and he came with plates.
He sat next to you, setting the plates down for a moment to pull a blanket around both of you and handing you your plate. "Careful, it's hot."
He thought about your questions. "Yeah, I have a kid." He replied. "I didn't want them turning on my old movies and getting tramuatized, so I got rid of them."
"That was nice of you," You said. "Giving up your movies so your kid is safe."
He smiled and wrapped an arm around you, pulling you close to his side. "Thanks, bud." He said softly, resting his head on top of yours.
-----------------------
You didn't realize you fell asleep until you woke up to voices. Yelling, familiar, overlapping voices. You blinked open your eyes to find you were still covered in blankets but a pillow had been added.
"...knew it! You couldn't help yourself."
"Neither could you apparentally! You owe me a new door!"
"Use your alimony check, you mother-"
You sneeze. They both turn to you. Quinn and Mike stare at you with wide eyes. "Kiddo, how long have you been awake?" Mike asks softly, all anger gone from his face.
Quinn comes over and puts a hand on your head, running her fingers through your hair, she just stares at you silently for a moment before turning to Mike. "We talk later."
He crossed his arms. "Something we agree on." His gaze softens when he looks at you. "Feeling alright bud? Can I get you some water? Some snacks?"
You sit up, making both of them crowd around you even more. "What were you two arguing about?" You ask instead.
They share a look with each other. You've never seen them look so coordinated with each other before. "Don't worry about us, sweetheart." Quinn says. "Grown-up things."
"What? Am I no longer a grown-up?" You joke but they don't laugh. Quinn still has her hand in your hair and you surprisingly let her. "I'm giving you a... Vacation." She says suddenly.
"What?" You were confused like always with her. She glanced at Mike before continuing. "I'm giving you a few paid days off of work, you'll stay here."
Mike's eyes widened behind her. "Thank you," He whispered to her before adressing you. "You hear that, kiddo? Get to spend some time with your old man."
You ignore that for now. "What do you mean? I have to work!" You protest.
"You'll also spend a few days at my house, also paid. And no, you don't have to work." She said matter-of-factly. You were shocked at this sudden change in both of them.
She smiled before standing up. "Call me," She told Mike before turning towards the door. Or doorway. The door was completely ripped off and laid uselessly on the floor, which she walked over.
"What-" You started, but got cut off by Mike lifting you up and settling you next to him again, he pulled you into his side like last night and sighed deeply. "Just enjoy it, kiddo."
You stared where Quinn left. Dread filling you. You were trapped and you had no idea what to expect next.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!! Glad to know that Tumblr didn't forget about me (entirely)!! I'm trying to do more stories so I'm opening up requests again! (but I might take forever to do them)
Please remember that I might not do the request!!! I'm sorry if I don't but I'm very busy and if I don't have a great idea for the request, I won't do it, but still feel free to go ahead and do that!
I love all of you so much, thank you for reading, and see ya!
I have gotten super into your works, and I'm a little curious about your band story... What's it like when they finally settle before the next touring season?? Do they have a room for reader, or do they have to rush to make one? All the details, if you're willing to write !!
Love your works, and hope you have a good day / night !!
-🧃anon (if that's okay??)
Another anon!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hello🧃anon!!!! I was actually thinking about making another part about them! Excellent question and I'm so so sorry it's taken me like 4 months to respond >_<

WARNINGS: Kidnapping, possessive behavior, forced age regress, yandere stuff, man idk
---------------------
The bus lurched a lot on the way back 'home', wherever that was. You were currently laying on the couch, back to the world and eyes squeezed tight.
You could hear the other band members talking (arguing) while they thought you were asleep.
"I'm just saying, I think we need to do something. A time out, a grounding, any punishment!" Dave was grumbling, leaning on the couch you were 'asleep' on.
"Oh, c'mon man." Ryan shot back. "They've been through enough, least we could do is let them get away with one little mistake!"
"You're just saying that because they played UNO with you." Tyler pointed out from beside Ryan.
"I think they shouldn't have any punishment because they don't deserve anything like that!" Evan said with such determinination that it made everyone pause.
"Favorites much?" Dave mumbled under his breath. Evan huffed out an annoyed breath and you felt him move over to you, gently shaking your shoulder. "Honey? Baby? Little one?" He said over and over again.
You didn't move an inch.
"They're ignoring you." Dave deadpanned. Evan sighed but kept trying anyway.
"Bruh, wake up!" Ryan called. That made you 'wake up'. You opened your eyes and rolled over to face them. "Did you just call me 'bruh'?" You asked, baffled by his words.
Ryan shrugged. Got you to wake up, didn't it?"
You glared at him but you got distracted as Evan lifted upwards. "Awww, are you cranky?" He teased. You squirmed but at this point, you knew that Evan was too strong.
Evan beamed as you stopped fighting him quickly, everyone else seemed curious to the situation. The bus came to a stop, not a pit stop (you were put in a different room when that was the case.) And Evan beamed.
"We're home now!" He said cheerfully, walking towards the door. You were so exicted to see outside that you didn't really care about your situation at the current moment.
Once you did get ouside, however, you were met with the sight of a modest house, big enough for each of the members and some wiggle room.
Evan kept moving with the rest of the band nearby, Ryan appeared at your right and ruffled your hair. "Welcome home, kid." He said with a grin. You stared blankly at him.
Dave opened the door for Evan as he finally set you back down on the floor. "Well, want a tour?"
You wanted to say no and ask to go home again, but Dave gave you a Disappointed Dad Glare(TM) and Tyler just gave you a knowing look and you nodded stiffly.
Each member eagerly showed you around their own room. Ryan threw you on his bed when you entered his room. (Earning a lecture from Dave and a horrified Evan but Tyler high-fived him and jumped with you)
Evan showed you around but kept you away from the 'dangerous' parts, such as the corner of his desk table and the stapler he has by his desk.
Tyler was chill when he showed you his room, let you touch all his guitars and even managed to get you to compliment it, something that made the other members get a bit jealous.
And Dave just opened the door and went. "This is my room." And closed it. "Well?" Tyler edged him on, wrapping an arm around you. Dave stared back. "That's it."
Tyler leaned down to whisper. "Ignore him, he always just holes himself up in his room sometimes."
"Sucks that you don't have a room yet, kiddo." Ryan comments as they walk you back to the kitchen. "I can sleep on the couch." You offer. Better than the cramped bus and the couch was probably more comfortable.
Dave gets a look of an idea while he eats some crackers. He waves over the rest of the members and they whisper a conversation. "What?" You ask as Ryan slides a cookie your way.
You eat it (You were starving, okay?) and look between them worriedly. Evan squeals in happiness and rushes over to hug you. "We agreed on a 'punishment'" He says it with exageration. "And we'll be keeping the sleeping planner!"
The dreaded sleeping planner.
Each day of the week is split between the 4 band members. One is always left out and they argue about it all the time. Which means, you won't be sleeping alone like you hoped.
"Relax," Dave says as he watches you lock up again. "It's not perament." Evan grumbles something like. "Wish it was..."
"Yeah, besides, it won't be that bad." Tyler adds, but his voice holds a note of worry. He wants you to like him really badly.
You don't give any of them the joy of a response.
-----------------------
After the second week of it, you finally speak up while cuddling one of them unwillingly. You usually just accept it and try to go to bed early, if that doesn't work, you stay super quiet and hope they fall asleep so you can sleep peacefully.
But Ryan had just rolled onto you again and almost hit your head with his shoulder. The last time he did that you got the worse headache for the rest of the night!
"Oof! Ryan, can you move?" You manage to grumble out. His eyes fly open and he stares at you for a soild 5 minutes, before shifting away.
"Sorry, I roll a lot when I sleep, don't I?"
You just stare at him like. I know.
He shifts a bit before moving his arm. "Lift your head." He orders. You do so, only because your so so tired, and he puts his forearm under your head, making a mini-pillow for you.
You lay your head back down on his arm and your eyes slip shut. He takes this as permission to move closer and his body heat makes you even more tired.
With a final sigh, you fall asleep. But you can feel Ryan smirk happily at the turn of events, but you'd be wrong not to feel it saying he's burrying his face in your hair.
--------------------------
You'd been a grouch all week. Everytime that night came and you tried to make a run to bed before any of them, Dave would yell and Tyler would drag you back to your cuddling partner.
Eventually, after one embarrassing pitiful plead, Dave finally paused in his order. "Dave... Don't you think they've been punished enough?" Tyler asked, hesitating to grab you as you ran up the stairs. You paused so you could listen.
There was a pause. "They gave me a heart attack, they have to learn." Dave grumbled stubbornly.
"They learned their lesson, we're just making them miserable."
"Fine. You big softie." Dave finally relented.
"What?! No!" Evan whined, you heard someone smack his shoulder.
"Oh, c'mon Evan. You'll survive." The teasing voice of Ryan told him. All he got back was a sad sigh.
"I'll go check on them." Tyler said before you heard him going upstairs where all the bedrooms were. You scurried to the first room you could find (Tyler's room) and climbed under the sheets, pretending to be asleep.
You heard Tyler come in and even though your heart was racing, you pretending expertly well. You felt the bed dip as he sat beside you and his fingers found your hair.
"Sleep well, Y/N. In here, with me." His voice had a possessive edge that you only heard in Evan once or twice, it scared you a bit. "I'll be your favorite, right?"
----------------------------------------
This one is also pretty short but I hope I didn't disappoint dear🧃anon! I love having anons!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, I hope this alright, not my best quality post, but still! Thank you so much for reading, I love all of you and see ya!
(Edit): I forgot to change the warnings again ._. i'm sorry
╰ ☆ Welcome, I’m Bun/Bunny! On this blog I’ll only write for platonic yanderes because they don’t get much love. Be aware I’m still kinda new to writing and will probably be inconsistent with posting… but I’ll definitely post as much as I can!
WARNINGS: Kidnapping, yandere behavior, implied posioning/drugging, yandere-y things, you know the drill.
--------------------
You held the flyer for daycare volunteers as the corners shook from the wind around you. You were just doing your usual walk when you spotted the flyer up against the pole of an electrical pole.
You picked it up and now you were just staring at it. It said it'd be good on college applications. The flyer was advertised for everyone, but all the details were more focused on teenagers than adults.
You had enough free time for the hours and you liked kids, the little germlins they were, so you took the flyer back home with you to ask your parents.
Your parents, dead tired from working, agreed as long as you could go by yourself safely (not running in the streets) and text them you made it home.
After the rules were set out, you called the daycare and they approved. You were expecting an interview, but they seemed eager anyone was going.
Weird.
-------------------------
When you arrived, you felt nervous. This was your first 'job' (even though it wasn't paid) and you didn't want to mess it up. A woman appeared at the desk with a bright smile.
"Hello there, dearie! Where are your parents?" She asked sweetly, smiling down at you. You shifted uncomfortably. "Um, they're at work, I'm here for the volunteering? I'm Y/N."
Her eyes widened in surprise and she put a hand to her chest. "Oh! My mistake. You looked so young I thought-" She cut herself off with a shake of her head. "Forgive me, sweetie, come along now, Y/N, was it?"
You nodded and she gestured for you to follow her and you saw a bunch of kids running around, anywhere from 2 to 8. "I usually let the olders roam around but the youngers need some watching, are you okay with that?" She questioned kindly.
You nodded and she quickly went back to the desk while you stayed behind with the kids.
-------------
The kids were actually fun. You were nervous and awkward around the woman, Darla, but the kids understood you. Or maybe you were a bit more childish than you'd like to admit.
Darla, after a few minutes of no one dropping off kids, came back and smiled at the scene of you playing with the other children. They were in a very high-stakes game of make-believe and you were matching their energy.
You felt eyes watching you and you noticed Darla staring at you fondly. You immediately feel slightly embarrassed and dial back your exictement a bit. She dims slightly, but continues playing with the kids.
"Okay, now, children! Listen!" The kids areound you went into a hush as Darla clapped her hands for their attention. "We're going to do story time now!"
The children cheered and Darla laughed.
-----------------------
After the kids all settled down onto comfy reading cushions, Darla started reading. She barely got one page in before she noticed you standing awkwardly behind the kids. "You can sit down too, Y/N."
You blushed from embarrassment and sat down beside a few rowdy kids and hushed them so they listened.
Darla was excellent with the kids, she spoke with a fire in her eyes and spoke intensely, she made the children's book entertaining. You were leaning forward towards the book by the end.
The book was only meant to keep little kids from fighting each other, but you were genually interested in it. You reacted along with the other kids at the exact moments. Every gasp, surprise, and laugh. You did it too.
She clearly noticed but just smiled despite your stiffness. You were embarrassed, again. But you shrugged it off. Anything for the kids, right?
----------------------
Next was snack time. Basic apple sauce and apple juice. You were really hungry, but you kept quiet as you helped the kids stab the little straws in. Why were the straws so bendy?! You missed the hole at least twice per child.
Suddenly, you felt something nudge your arm. You looked over to see Darla nudging you with the juice box, straw already in for you. After you sheepishly took the juice, the apple sauce came as well.
Darla just smiled as you ate and drank, she even 'recomended' you sit down again. You sta beside a 5 year old and a 7 year old as they laughed loudly over something dumb.
It was humiliating, to say the least. But Darla sighed in contentment and even snapped a photo of it, pretending it was a group photo but she was really aiming towards you.
You dropped your head so your face was out of the photo. Darla frowned. "Don't be like that, sweetie! C'mon! Let me see your smile!" She prodded until you finally raised your head and she took a quick photo, grinning all the while.
Could this day get any more embarrassing?
-------------------------
The answer was yes. The next activity was crafts, Darla surprisingly left you alone to watch over the younger kids as they emptied an entire bottle of glue on the table.
Your table was much calmer, the older kids still sloppy but not as messy. They had loppisided eyed drawings of their parents and way too much glitter for anything, but it was still better than the chaos just a table over.
In fact, your little corner was so well behaved, you ended up joining the kids. You reasoned with yourself it was just so the kids could see an example or you could bring more exictement, but the truth was that you just like drawing.
When you were done, you were kind of proud. Yeah, this was a good drawing! "Okay my little ones!" Darla's loud voice made your head snap up, the other kids were in a line.
You stood up instantly, ditching your art to move closer to the children and Darla, who didn't seem to mind about the whole situation. "We're gonna go wait in the playroom for Mommy and Daddy!"
The kids cheered just like they always did, and you cracked a smile at their energy. You looked up to see Darla staring at you with a similar smile.
Despite the warmth and affection behind it, it gave you the chills.
------------------------
The parents came far too quickly for your liking. You got at least 10 hugs from the children before they left, each time you heard Darla go "Awww..." from her place at the desk, and you had to agree with her. It was awfully cute.
Each of the little children waved or hugged goodbye and then ran to their parents. You were playing with a few of the kids that were left, and now that Darla was busy again, you were fully enjoying yourself.
"Don't be so rough back there!" You heard Darla shout as you and a particularly troublesome toddler were pretending to fight with dinosaurs.
You turned your head back. "We're all good back here, Mrs Darla!" You say without thinking. You just wanted to make sure she knew nothing actually dangerous was happening!
"Just be careful!" Darla's concerned reply came. You frowned but got distracted as the kid wacked your dino out of your hands. "Hey!"
The toddler giggled and you grinned. You didn't even notice his parents came until his eyes brightened and he ran away. You were still holding the dino in the air when Darla walked in.
You cleared your throat and put the toys away quickly. She just smiled and patted your head fondly. She was often affectionate with the children, ruffling their hair or complimenting them, so you didn't think too much of her doing it to you. You didn't like thinking of yourself as a child, but you were probably closer to the babies age than her age.
"You can go home now, Y/N." She said softly, still smiling brightly at you. "O-Oh, yeah. Thank you!" You replied, running out the door with your bag.
"See you tomorrow!" She called cheerfully as you left. You clambered onto your bike and rode off.
Sure, your parents told you not to do this and get a friend or better yet, let them drive you out early, but you were old enough to ride by yourself! Seriously! They were overprotective sometimes!
--------------------
You made it home totally fine, just like you thought (take that, Mom and Dad!), and ploped on the couch.
Your mom and dad arrived somewhat later with pizza and you told them all about Darla and the children and just your day overall. "Wow, sounds like Darla is quite the character." Your dad commented, taking a big bite of pizza.
Your mom glared at your father and smacked his shoulder playfully. "Be nice! She sounds very motherly. I heard she just adopted her own child!"
You chewed while thinking, she talked a lot to the children (who never responded because they were too young to understand) and you never heard her mention a child.
Strange, but not too strange. Maybe she just keeps her personal life to herself. But she seems like an open book... You shrugged and took another bite. "Eh, she seems alright. Never heard her mention a child."
"Y/N, don't talk with your mouth full."
"Sorry."
----------------------------------
The next few weeks pass by in a blur. You go to the daycare on weekends and sometimes after school, and you loved it.
Despite the embarrassing first day, you and Darla fell into a rhythm. You'd come up pretty early, she'd fuss over you until kids came, you'd play with them in the playroom and the rest of the day would match the first.
The only difference would be Darla driving you home because she was horrified that you rode your bike st night. She even began driving you in the morning and declaring bikes were too unsafe.
Though your parents were skeptical when you told them about her, she came and charmed her way to their good graces and they didn't care, much to your dismay.
You didn't know why you didn't fully like Darla like the kids or your parents. Maybe because she insisted you act like a child or how she stared with this intensity when you did.
But if she was being nice and talking normally, she was actually fun to be around. She was driving you home and you were so busy talking about your day at school that you didn't notice going the wrong way until the car stopped.
You looked to see a cute cottage and paused.
"Darla?" When did you stop calling Mrs Darla?
"Yes, honey?" That's another thing, the nicknames.
"This... This isn't my house..."
"I know," She said with a sympathetic sigh, like you were the one in the wrong. "You parents said I could keep you for tonight!"
Her phrasing wasn't helping your chills.
---------------------------
She was a surprisingly good host. You were curled up on the couch with a pack of crackers as she made dinner, an old but entertaining show playing on the TV
Eventually, the sweet smell made you lazily push off the couch and walk over to Darla curiously. You didn't know why you felt so tired today as you rubbed your eyes with a yawn.
"Is dinner done yet?" You asked but heard a coo and felt a hand on your head. You opened your eyes to see Darla with that dark expression as she ran her fingers through your hair. You brushed it off as habit.
"Almost, baby, you can go nap if you want to." She responded, her voice was soft and gentle.
You eyed her suspiciously but shrugged and fell back on the couch. You didn't need naps! You were a teenager! You just wanted to relax a bit...
You woke up to a soft blanket tucked around you and a plushie that you didn't recognize. Darla popped her head in and her eyes widened when she realized you were awake.
She disappeared and came back with tea. "Good morning, my sunshine!" She called cheerfully, placing the tea down onto the table in front of you.
You sat up and took a sip of the tea with a murmured thanks. She made a similar cooing noise like she did yesterday and smiled at you brightly.
"What time is it?" You asked groggily.
"Noon." She said simply. "You must've been tired, baby..." She sighed dramatically but you were already trying to race upwards.
"Noon?!? I'm late for school! I'm gonna be in so much trouble!"
Darla's warm hand on your shoulder stopped you. "Honey... Its the weekend."
"...What?" You said, deflating.
"Yes, sweetie, its Saturday. Daycare is closed for renovations?" She told you calmly, moving her hand from your shoulder to cup your cheek, rubbing her thumb under the bags by your eyes. You were too distracted to notice.
"But...I-I don't..." You sigh, how did you forget what day it was?!
"Oh," she said softly, like you were a child that got a paper cut "Don't worry too much, dearie, I'll be right here! She was still holding your face before she turned and disappeared, yelling "I have some fun things we can do today!" Over her shoulder
She was giving you the chills.
-------------------------
The rest of the day was spent with her constantly fretting over you no matter where you went or what you did.
Go for a walk to get ice cream? Suddenly, the sidewalk was dangerous and the man serving your ice cream was a man trying to lead you to his van to kidnap you.
Stay at home and do arts and crafts? Don't touch the scissors! You could cut yourself and get an infection and die! And don't get started on the emotional wreck that could happen should your art work get a drop of water. Not from you, but Darla would be destroyed if your art was 'ruined'
She even has your old drawing on her fridge. You had forgotten about it, but Darla suggested snacks and you saw it. You plucked it off the wall and just stared at it.
Darla appeared behind you like a ghost, making you jump. "Aw, I remember that! From your first day!" She sighed dreamily like she was remembering it clearly.
You laughed awkwardly and nodded, she smiled and took it out of your hands and pinned it back on the fridge without a word. "Now! Go sit at the table, I'll prepare you a little snack!"
You grumbled something about being old enough to get your own food but she just hummed happily. You two ate sandwiches before Darla decided it was TV time.
She fluffed pillows and basically burried you in blankets, sitting behind you with you laying sideways. You realized if she prodded you a bit more, you would be laying in her lap. You sat stiff as cardboard on purpose.
Luckily, she didn't try anything. But you did feel her begin to play with your hair, you just brushed it off like you always did, thinking about it made you fidgety.
Suddenly, you felt so tired. You blamed it on not eating enough, all you had today was that tea and the small sandwich.
You yawned, despite your best efforts not to, and you felt Darla's hands slow and then speed up again. A hum came from Darla as you tried to focus on the TV in front of you.
You felt heavier and heavier and heavier and heavier...
You were now laying in Darla's lap, eyes closed, and you already felt like you were drifitng off to another fit of sleep. You still felt Darla twirling with pieces of your hair and her humming contentedly as you do.
--------------------
The second time you woke up in Darla's house, it was similar to the first. You woke up with a pile of blankets, Darla appeared, gave you some tea, and explained how it was Sunday and the Daycare was still closed.
You thanked her, for some reason, and chalked off the weird falling asleep on her to a bad dream and didn't think of it. She certainly wasn't acting like you fell asleep on her.
"When am I gonna go home?" You asked her casually, sipping the warm tea.
She tilted her head. "You are home."
You stared at her. Has she lost her mind? Was she confused? Oh no, was she crazy?
You shake the thoughts off, they wouldn't let a crazy person run a daycare... Right? There had to be a reasonable explanation for all of this.
"N-No," you hate how unsure your voice is. "Like... Home..."
She clicks her tongue like you're a child. "Fussy, fussy." She chides, lifting more of the tea down your throat despite you trying to pull away. "Just take a nap, sweetie, you'll be okay." She said sweetly but it felt so wrong...
Hey, what were you mad about again? You just wanted to sleep... Sleep for hours... The couch is so soft...
Your eyes slip shut and you fall back into the couch, Darla smiles as she sips her own tea but her tea isn't posioned. "Just sleep, my baby, you'll wake up stronger."
You yawn and shift a bit before falling asleep again.
--------------------
You wake up again, rubbing your burning head as you process your surroundings. "Darla?" You ask, stretching a bit.
She pops in her head like the last few days. "Yes, my dearie?" She calls cheerfully.
"What day is it? I feel like I slept for days..." You grumble, still trying to calm your burning headache.
She smiles warmly at you. "It's Sunday, my precious one." She gives you a sympathetic look. "I think you should lay back down, you don't look so well... Are you okay, baby?"
"I'm fine." You brush her off like you always do when she hovers. It feels weirder when it's not at work but you don't mind. "When did I even fall asleep?" You don't remember much...
"Oh, you were just dozing off... I bet you don't even remember it happening!" She says it so happily, like it was the cutest memory she had. Maybe it was.
"Now, do you want some tea?"

Giant Parental!Yandere x Reader
WARNINGS: Holding against will, kind of yandere bahvior?
--------------------------
There were giants that were your town's Gods. But over time, the humans and the giants learned to co-exist. The giants lived higher, on hills and some in clouds, while the humans stayed lower on the ground.
Sometimes the giants bothered the humans, sometimes the humans went 'hunting' for giants for fun, they were difficult times. Soon enough, the giants had enough.
Giants became the rulers of the humans, some still living peacefully above humans, but the rest were treated like royals by anyone. Didn't matter who or what you were, you listened to the royal giants.
------------------
It was an unlucky day for you. You were just on a walk, when a voice cut through the air. "You, human. Come here." You were about to yell at whoever was talking to you like that, when you turned and saw the king.
You instantly ran over, hearing the rumors of those who disappear when disobeying the king, and bowed before him. He was 9ft tall and you... You were 5'1. When bowing, you heard him snicker.
"Where are your parents, child?" He asked.
You didn't look up, not being able to stand unless he dismissed you. You weren't sure how to answer, you wanted to say you were an adult, but that wasn't the question. "They are retired, your majesty."
He scoffed at that, you felt him step closer to you, towering above you. "How old are you?"
When you told him your age, he laughed. Loudly. Enough to make you almost lose balance. "Impossible. You are tiny enough to be a child."
You wanted to argue and defend yourself, but the words died in your throat.
"Come, child, follow me." He said and began walking towards the palace, leaving you to run behind him.
The palace was meant for people twice your size, you could barely reach the door handle. The king kept glancing back at you to make sure you followed, and you did. You followed up the path, through the door, and down the hall, until he reached a set of doors that you could also barely reach the door knobs.
He opened it and placed a large hand on your back, leading you inside and holding you in place. Another giant was lounging on a chair with a book, you recoginzed her as the queen.
"Honey," The king said behind you, calling for her. She looked up from her book and saw you standing beside the king with a confused expression.
"...Why have you brought a child?" She asked, turning her gaze back to her husband.
"The child was running by themselves, I wanted to discuss something with you."
The queen eyes flickered to you. "Here?"
"Here." He repeated. "What if we keep the child?"
You froze, fighting the urge to argue again. He seemed to sense your growing unease and confusion and all your emotions, his hand moving to rub your back comfortingly. It didn't help much.
The queen looked just as confused as you. "Excuse me?"
The king nodded. "The child should stay here, they're clearly uncapable of living by their self." He gestured to your tired eyes and ratty clothing.
The queen nodded slowly, her eyes scanning you up and down. "That appears to be true." She agrees which makes you feel even more trapped and confused. "What is your name, little one?"
You stiffened which made the king beside you step closer to you. "...It's Y/N."
"Y/N... That's a beautiful name." She says softly, approaching you. She grabs your chin and inspects your face. You had sulken eyes, pale skin, and your hair was a mess. She frowned at the sight, sharing a glance with her husband that reminded you of a mother and father trying to talk over their kid's shoulder.
The king didn't stop rubbing your back when he turned towards the hall. "Draw a bath for the child, a human. Prepare a room and meal as well."
You heard guards and maids shuffling outside where you couldn't see from the king's towering struture.
The queen moved to the other side of you, leaning down to be less intimidating. "I'm sure this is all very new to you, sweetie, but don't worry. You're safe now." She say gently, patting your head like a toddler.
You just stared at her.
--------------------
After being forced to take a bath by the king and queen, you were now being ushered to a table full of so many different types of food you could barely see it all.
The queen kept hovering over you, seeming upset when you fed yourself and making a big deal of wiping your face every time you took a bite.
The king looked amused at his wife's behavior but didn't say anything, however, he did watch you closely, his eyes softening once or twice.
Once you finished dinner, you just kinda... Stood there. You weren't happy with the situation, you were just trying to go on a walk and now you were dragged here, but it was also... Nice. But you couldn't say anything freely.
The king approached you, watching you curiously, before he crouched to one knee, staring at you closely. You stiffened under his gaze, mainly from how intense his stare was, but you were pretty sure he didn't plan on hurting you.
"You... Have free speech here, child." He said suddenly, making you jolt from your thoughts. "I have seen your face, I sense you have your own thoughts." He paused thoughtfully. "Share them."
You stared at him, sensing a trap but he smiled at you, which somehow meant free-for-all to your mouth. Or maybe it had gotten irratated at how long you held your tongue.
"I'm not a child, I'm perfectly fine on my own, and I don't like being treated like a baby!" You said quickly but not rudely, just tired.
He laughed again and placed his hand on your head, his palm covered most of you head. "You may not see yourself as a child, but you are pocket-sized to giants."
You frowned. "I'm not a baby, though."
"Maybe not to humans, but you are very, very, very young." He said matter-of-factly. Before you could respond, he stood up, towering over you again. "Come now, it is late."
It was 8:30.
But, it was still the king.
So you followed him anyway.
---------------------
He led you to a guest room. It was plain but cozy. The bed was clearly meant for a giant but it meant you had a lot of room and so many blankets...
He let you climb into bed and pile blankets over yourself until you looked like a burrito and his face morphed into adoration at the sight.
You thought he would leave at that, but instead, he walked past the bed and began scanning the bookshelf in the room. "What story would you want? Fairy tales? Or do you prefer more realstic stories?"
You blinked at him. "...What?"
"What story do you want read to you, child?" He repeated, turning to stare at your seriously. You were shocked into silence before sheepishly going. "...Fairy tales sound nice."
He smiled at you and took a big book of fairy tales off the shelf and sat beside you in a plush chair. He put on reading glasses (which you thought made him look funny) and began reading the story. "Once upon a time..."
His voice was soothing, his words making your mind fill of stories of elves and giants and magic while your eyes closed and body relaxed.
You fell asleep rather quickly, the last thing you remember was a gentle kiss placed upon your forehead and the king's voice whispering. "Sweet dreams, my child."
-------------------
When you woke up, the smell of breakfast hit you immediately.
The smokey aroma of bacon and pancakes made you basically float down the tall stairs. You expected to see human servants or maybe other giant staff members, but you were surprised to see the queen making breakfast.
She seemed to sense you coming in and turned to smile at you. You approached more with her calm expression but you could barely see over the stove.
She patted your head with one hand and used the other to expertly flip a pancake. You didn't mind the small display of affection, she seemed like the mothering type anyway.
You watched her make pancakes as best as you could, having to go on your tippy-toes to see above the stove, she laughed and scouped you up into her arms.
You were so surprised that you forgot to flinch, she took it as you being happy and made a cooing noise while still making pancakes.
Even though the situation was... Strange, you still found yourself not minding it at all. It was actually kind of nice. She held you on her hip, bouncing you lightly and smiling brightly at you. She even kissed your cheek once or twice lovingly.
"You're perfect." She sighed happily, you just smiled back awkardly.
-------------------
You finally got the nerve to speak up about your thoughts at breakfast. The queen was eating beside you and the king was eating across from you.
"Hey, so..." You start, gathering their attention.
"Hm? What is, sweetie?" The queen asked, looking over at you worriedly.
With the words of the king about free speech, you took a breath. "Can I leave, soon?"
The king paused, fork half-way to his mouth. The queen made a tutting noise, but it was the king who spoke first. "Why would you want to leave? What is wrong? Let me fix it." He said simply, lowering his fork.
"What? Oh, no!" You quickly say. "I'm not unhappy or anything-"
"Then why should you leave?" He seemed geninuely confused and upset at the thought of you leaving.
"I just... I have a life, friends, family, a job!"
He stared at you for a moment before going back to eating.
"No."
He kept eating, even when you looked shocked. "But-!"
"I said no, Y/N." He sounded exasperated. The queen finally couldn't take it and began patting your head again. "Why would you ever leave? We have everything you could ever need!"
You suddenly didn't feel as happy as you used to...
-----------------
Despite your protests and whining and fighting and everything, you were actually enjoying yourself. You were still asking to go back to your house during the day, but the queen would just sigh like you were a child asking for cookies and the king would try to distract you.
However, you did manage to coax their real names out of them. You learned the king's name was Alastair and the queen's name was Elizabeth.
It was later at night, Elizabeth was messing with your hair with a happy hum when Alastair popped in. He opened his mouth, but first took the time to admire the scene in front of him. "Bed time." He grunted stifly, like he also didn't want you to go to bed.
You glanced at the clock, 8:30. "Are you sure?" You said confusedly. "It's pretty early-"
He suddenly picked you up under your arm pits and craddled you on his hip like Elizabeth did earlier. "Yup, bed time." He repeated, begining to move. "Should've put you to bed earlier anyway."
You were very confused at the sudden movement, but this time, you were able to fight it. You squirmed, a bit uncomfortable, but he just bounced you like a fussy child.
"Now, now, don't squirm." He chided. "You're much too small to make it allllll the way to your bed." He told you condesendingly, emphaizing how long it'd take you to get to bed.
He tucked you in and kissed your forehead, but when he was about to leave, you surprised yourself. "Wait,"
He paused, turned back slightly. You suddenly felt embarrassed. "...Can you read me another bed time story...?"
His eyes instantly softened, he came back and picked up the fairy tale book again. "Of course, angel. Anything you want." He said fondly, sitting in the same chair.
You relaxed and quickly fell asleep at the sound of his soothing voice, your mind drifting off more peaceful then ever before.
Elizabeth popped her head in when you were fully asleep, she smiled and kissed your forehead before moving to stand next to Alastair. "How did we get so lucky?" She whispered, careful not to wake you.
Alastair began softly running his hand through your hair. "Our little angel..."
You slept on peacefully in the royal giants' bed, unaware of the two giants watching over you lovingly, they already took you in as their own. You just didn't know it yet.
Or, maybe you did.

Okay! My first post after my very long break! I'm glad that it's a little longer, as I feel my content has been pretty short and medicore, I'll be working on that!
As I mentioned before, I'll now just be going with the flow and doing requests with what ideas I can. Don't worry, I'll get to all of your requests... Maybe and eventually. Anyway, thank you so much for reading, I love all of you, and see ya!
EDIT: Y'all know it's been a long time when I forget to even PUT the warnings!!!!!!!!! I mean, there wasn't really any warnings TO add, but still. Anyway, that's my bad, I love you all so so much and see ya!
I know I've been inactive for a long time, that's my bad guys o-o but I'm back and I'm here to respond to your requests!
I've realized I was putting a little stress into my work with the thought I had to write each request in order, but now I'm just gonna do it if I want to. That may mean some requests will take longer, but if yours isn't IMMEDIATELY done, just wait because I'm slow and i'm sorry ;-;
Anyway, thank you for reading, I love all of you, and see ya!
Hey everyone! With school starting, my uploading will be WAYYY slower, I will keep writing but expect almost a week up in posting, I love all of you and see ya! (Sorry for the inconvinice)
I'm not sure if you're taking requests rn, but I have an idea. If you're up for it, please write this.
A yandere alien. Though a bit different than the usual. Maybe reader gets isekai'd into their world, or something like that. The reader is injured or at least traumatized from being thrown into a world they don't understand and having to survive. They're saved by another being who isn't human.
The alien is curious and also concerned. They see the reader as someone who need protection from everything. Maybe even themselves.
imagine the alien seeing reader as the one person they could relax around. Maybe I should write this too, lol. The alien's personality has a switch up or something.
Maybe alien isn't the exact term but I can't think of anything else.
Interesting concept! I will gladly deliever! Also beautiful image I will save that in my heart forever and my family will never be the same. Thank you. Also, I know that the alien was apart of the poll but this is a request so that trumps polls.
And thank you for the request! Enjoy and see ya!

WARNINGS: Kidnapping, forced age regress, violence/murder? (Not the MCs),
---------------------------
Life wasn't nice to you, but you were strong. Whenever you got fired for basically no reason, you just shrugged and went back to your small pile of things under a bridge and work to get a new job. (Lying about your age in the process, you had an older face... Right? You got away with it most times)
It was cold and you were never quite healthy, but you saved enough money for a laptop to get the job interviews! At least that was something...
You were just about to go 'home' (under the bridge where no one sees you or bothers you) when you miss a step and fall down onto the street.
Except, you fall directly in front bus.
-----------------------------
You knew life loved scewing you over, but not giving you an afterlife? Now that was just cruel.
You remember the bus clearly, how you randomly fell, the lights and the honking, you remember all of it!
So... Why were you in the middle of a field?
You stand up on surprisingly healthy legs and take a few steps forward, only to immediately realize that you have no idea where you are.
Well, there aren't any signs or landmarks that point to where you are, so you guess you just have to... Go. Survive. It wasn't the first time at least.
Even though the bus's injuries aren't on you, all other injuries are. You still have bruises and a hurt back from being under the bridge for so long, and you still feel thirsty and hungry. So maybe this wasn't the afterlife.
You move forward, determinded to figure out what happened and move on.
You had a life to flip off.
--------------------------
Okay, maybe you should take a break.
You've been walking for hours and all there is are random houses and sheds! No cities or maps, and most of the houses are empty! Those that aren't, just don't answer the door.
Then, you hear screaming.
Painful, deep from the gut, terrible, fresh, screaming. It makes you freeze and tense from just how sad the scream is. Even though you want to turn on your heel and ignore it, you need to know what happened.
You carefully move through the field as it morphs into a forest. You push through some low branches and bushes until the screaming gets clearer.
Just as you peek over an edge, does the screaming stop. It's a horrible sight.
A... Creature is standing over a bloodied body, and looting it. Taking food and water and other things before kicking the body into the river. In seconds, blood starts tainting the water red. You gag.
You're about to turn, but the rocks by your feet have different plans. You slip and fall into the blood water, previously known as a river. It's a deep river...
You can't swim.
You'd think for someone living under a bridge most of their life you'd eventually learn, but nope! You lived life on the edge. Literally.
You tried kicked and climbing and getting help somehow, but you couldn't. You were drowning. And it was terrible.
Large arms grab your wrists and pull you up. You cough out water and try to clear your blurry vision. You see a blurry verison of the creature that killed that other guy.
And immeditaely start crying your eyes out.
Maybe it was the stress of life, maybe it was the thought of death, or the near-death experience, or this whole situation. But you were just so done with everything.
So you cried.
In front of a creature that easily killed people.
Except... You weren't dead yet. Through your tears, you got a better look at this creature thing. It sure was just a creature, but it did have some human features. It's eyes were wide and somewhat curious. Dangling from your wrists made your whole body shake while you cried.
It put you down on the ground and looked at you again. You had to tilt your head back to look at it, why was it so tall?! It made it much more intimidating.
It frowned when it saw your sorry state and tears, and it awkardly patted you head. It should've been scary or confusing, but it actually stopped you from crying. Were you that desperate for physical contact?! You knew your love language was physical touch but c'mon...
It perked up when it saw you stopped cry and then shifted so it held your hand. It's hand was oddly soft but it's nails were sharp and long, you didn't pull away, a little scared if you stepped out of line, you would die.
It started moving which made you walk along side with it. Maybe this all was a fever dream. It'd make more sense than this!
You two went past small houses and sheds until you came upon a big one you knocked on before leaving when no one answered. He takes a bloody key (Probably from the guy he killed, making your stomach swoop) and turn it in.
The house opens and it's just as elegant on the inside as outside. He noticed your curious but scared state, and made a questioning clicking noise before picking you up.
You got frozen again, but also somewhat enjoyed the comfort, embarrassingly enough. You leaned in a little and the alien thing made a cooing noise, catching you by surprise.
It carried you around the house like it was giving you a tour, but it clearly didn't know what the rooms are and where they were. He just as new to the house as you.
He did know that the kid's room was yours though, he kept pointing at you when crossing the threshold. You were confused because there was a perfectly fine guest room right across from it, but you didn't want to upset the creature.
The alien didn't know what you were saying whenever you questioned him, but he did like the cute noises either way. He just assumed that you were still learning to talk. After all, you're so tiny!
When the 'tour' was finished, he set you down in a chair in the kitchen as he tried to figure out how food worked. You watched him, frozen, for a while, before trying to stealthily sneak out.
You waited until his back was turned before silently stepping onto the floor and tip toeing to the door. You made it about 2 steps before you were placed back in the chair with him making a disapproving clicking noise.
It happened so quick you could barely process it. You blinked and stared at the alien, who was back to cooking. You chose to stay seated until he was done.
Despite knowing you were in who-knows-where with an alien, the food smelled great and you were willing to try it. Espically if the alien made it, he might get offended if you don't! Better safe than sorry...
The alien seemed really proud through his unnatural eyes. He set it down in front of you, but before you could take a bite, he sat you in his lap and held the fork instead.
Again, it happened so quickly that your mouth fell open. The alien put the food in your mouth and it actually was really good! Plus, you were starving, before you even got here too.
He smiled (You think?) when you excitedly ate all the food. When you finished he made a lot of happy clicking noises, you smiled but still felt a little uneasy about... Well, everything.
Even though he was kind to you, he still had the reek of blood and dust, never letting you forget what he did.
The sound of loud banging on the door scared you so much, you instintfully hugged the alien, heart jumping out of your chest.
Once you realized your mistake, you tried pulling back but the alien just hugged you closer, picking you up like you were used to by now, and going to the door.
You felt his body tense the closer he got to the door. When he opened it, a tall woman was there, trying to look scary but paling when it saw the alien.
"W-Where's Alan?" She shakily asked, stepping back. She looked at you with confusion. "Please help me." You asked her, trying to lean out to her.
She reached out to you, but then her face went blank and she slumped. Her shirt and coat becoming red as the alien pulled back their claws from their chest.
You began screaming and trying to pull away from the alien, and the alien... He looked hurt.
He really didn't mean to scare you, but he couldn't have you be taken away by another weird creature! Who knows what that thing could've done?!
You begged to be put down, but the alien just closed the door, making you feel more trapped than you've ever been.
---------------------------
The alien carried you back to your room, feeling a little guilty about your distress call (He could tell that about humans, they did it a lot!) and decided to put you down for a nap.
As much as he wanted to stay with you and cuddle with you like his own kind did with their young until they left, he knew that you were scared and didn't trust him. Most younglings didn't understand when they got adopted about what was happening, all you needed was time... Right?
During the walk to your room, you began quietly crying. You were getting so tired of this. Pretending that everything was fine, maybe you believed it while eating, but...
You just wanted to go home. You wanted that bridge that you hated, you wanted to see the people walking past, you wanted to be back where you lived everyday.
But you ended up here. With an alien... Thing.
He noticed you were crying when he opened your door and the soothing clicking noises came back, louder and more tight. He hugged you tighter to him until he felt your tears stop.
He gently laid you on the bed and pulled the blanket around you, patting you head. Again, it was oddly comforting to you, maybe you could pretend this was all some weird dream. You closed your eyes.
He watched you sleep for a moment, hoping that when you woke up, you'd be happier and less scared. But he also had to make sure that you knew he would never hurt you. He could never hurt a child like yourself. You aren't one
-------------------------------------
I'm.... Okay with this one? I don't know how I feel about it. I'm not too smart about isekai stuff, but I did read a few things about it, so I hope the people like it!
Thanks for reading, I love all of you, and see ya!
EDIT: Okay. Someone needs to be the bigger person and TELL ME WHEN I FORGET TO CHANGE THE WARNINGS (Actually I'd probably be super duper embarrassed but they're WARNINGS FOR A REASON) soiajkdghiudrhfnghjkldfuilh i'm sorry

Parental!Yandere Band x (Ex) Fan Reader
WARNINGS: Forced age regress, mentions of kidnapping, uhhh
-----------------------
You woke up, surprisingly comfy, and hearing Tyler screaming and Ryan's laugh from the game room. You looked over the edge of the bed to see them playing 'Sorry' in the game room.
You also noticed 4 new plushies around you. There was a bear (You were certain that one was from Evan) and a dragon (Probably Ryan) that were absoulutely giant.
And then there were two smaller ones, but they were both still cute. It was a plushie dog and cat, cute and chibi. You loved the cat plushie, was that one from Dave?
You continued watching them play 'Sorry' since you didn't want to see them, but you were bored and they were really funny when they weren't kidnapping random fans.
Tyler got a 'Sorry' card and looked Ryan in the eyes as he took over his piece. Ryan screeched and everyone started laughing, including you.
Evan locked in on your laugh the second it came out and you just avoided his gaze, but you felt it on you, even from the other room.
Then, you realized he was coming towards you, you tried crawling back or just rolling up in the blankets, but Evan picked you up bridal style back to the game room, setting you between Dave and him.
Dave scooted closer but didn't touch you, just protectively hovering. Evan... Evan did what Evan wanted, which was putting an arm around you and resting his cheek on your head.
You were not comfortable, but kept your mouth shut, knowing any vocal outburst would cause someone (Dave.) to yell at you. Evan mistook this as you being happy about it.
Ryan looked sad that you weren't with him, but kept playing like nothing happened.
You watched the game like that for about 30 minutes. It was kind of fun! The band always had funny interactions and they clearly loved you...
You mentally shook your head. You can't begin liking this new reality. Dave seems to sense your growing trust and deals you into the next game.
You're surprised, and Tyler seems surprised too. "Going soft, old man?" He teases and Dave just glares at him and keeps doing what he's doing.
You cautiously play with them, surprised to find that you're actually having fun! The other band members seem just as surprised as you! Evan brightens everytime he hears your real laugh and Dave smiles before forcing it netrual.
By the time you guys call it quits, you have cramps from laughing so hard, teamed with Ryan enough to be partner in crime for life, and are tired. You had been playing for hours and you didn't want to admit that you kind of wanted to nap.
Dave picks up on this, from your secretive yawning, rubbing eyes, and sudden quiet attitude. He picks you up like a toddler, which immediately causes you to freak out after barely being touched (Except for Evan's fidgety nature) all day.
"Calm down, you know nothing is gonna happen." Dave tuts as he takes you back to his bunk. You stop squirming and Dave looks down at you in surprise before kissing the top of your head.
He lays you down in the bed and tucks you in. "Sweet dreams, Y/N, we aren't going anywhere." You nod and he walks away, joining the rest of the band as Ryan already set fire to a grilled cheese.
You would be concerned with him, but you're just too tired...
---------------------
You blink your eyes open and hear Tyler playing the guitar. While your mind isn't fully awake to be mad about the hostage thing, your body gets up and follows the soothing music.
When you find him in the game room turned music room (Bass is on a rack with a microphone nearby and drums are half-hazardly stuffed in a closet nearby) you quietly say to yourself. "This is my favorite song."
Tyler looks up and smiles at you, playing more of the song, beckoning you closer. You approach automatically, but more awake where you realize this is a mistake.
You stop midway, but Tyler comes close enough to block you if you try leaving, still playing the song. You stay and listen, swaying slightly.
When the song ends, you hear fast and slow clapping from the doorway and turn to see Dave slow clapping with a small smile on his lips and Evan full on cheering.
They both enter the room and Evan fully hugs you again, keeping you there while they all start talking.
"Dude! You've improved!" Evan cheers while crushing you.
"He's right, for once." Dave adds, nodding. He glances at you, looking curious at how you willingly came in here.
Evan craddles you on his hip which makes you squirm and push away. Dave rolls his eyes. "Give them here."
"Nooooooooooooooo!"
"Evan."
"Fine." He huffs. Dave easily takes you from Evan and carries you around the bus a few times. "What are you doing?" You finally ask, your back hurting from sitting up straight.
He doesn't look at you. "Getting you to calm down."
You narrow your eyes. "I'm not a baby, you can't just carry me like one so I stop fussing."
He raises an eyebrow at that and continues walking around. Ryan sees this from where he plays the switch on the couch and smirks. You glare at him and he sticks out his tongue.
Eventually, you rest your head on his shoulder and sigh in annoyance, it's only because your back hurts! Nothing else...
Dave sits down next to Ryan, with you still cuddled up to him. You two watch Ryan absoulutely fail at Mario Kart and he scowls at it.
"Can I try?" You ask, knowing full well you also suck at it. Ryan and Dave look surprised and share this look, before giving you the console.
The next hour you three play Mario Kart with Dave destroying you and Ryan. You and Ryan team up yet again and beat Dave easily after knocking him off the track a lot.
"Yeah, Y/N! Woo!" Ryan and you high five before you process that you just high fived your captor and grumble and lean back into Dave's chest from where you sit in his lap.
You hear a click! from across the room and turn to see Tyler with his camera. "Whoops."
Your cheeks turn red and you scramble out of Dave's lap, embarrassed out of your mind. This place wasn't healthy for you. "Great. Thanks Ty." Dave glares at Tyler who raises his hands in innocnce.
"I didn't do anything!"
"That camera disagrees."
Evan walks over to you and leans in like you're sharing a secret. "Who do you think is gonna win?" They continue bickering. Ryan scoots over aswell.
"My bet is on Tyler, he's really good at avoiding punishment."
You think about it. "But Dave is really intimidating, remember the interview you took in Korea?"
Ryan and Evan share a look. "You saw those?" Evan sounds way too happy.
"You forget that I used to be a big fan." You deadpan, crossing your arms. Ryan ruffles you hair and smirks. "You love us, admit it."
"Nuh uh." You cringe at how childish you sound.
Ryan gets this playful look. "Yah huh."
You glare at each other and this causes Tyler and Dave to stop fighting and stare at you two. Dave is fighting a smile and Tyler is not, fully smiling ear to ear.
"Aw! You guys are so cute!" Evan hugs both of you. You groan.
----------------------
This is just really bad, sorry guys. I have no excuses. I hope to do better soon if I do a full part 2 [I have some ideas...]
And don't worry, I'm still writing people's requests, I'm just slow! So if you wrote a request and are worried I haven't answered, don't stress too much! I am writing them! But you should worry about the quality of them :/
Thanks for reading, I love all of you, and see ya!
