The First I took your virginity while I lost mine in a 3 minute jumble of awkward movements, and pain. Your eyes bore love into my skin that reflected off as knives, cause I was your first love but you were not mine. The Second I gave you everything I had but you couldn’t keep any of it in. Like pouring water into a bowl full of holes, I watched as my words passed through you without ever stopping. No matter how much I tried, my love was never enough to keep the life in your eyes. The Third You started as a distraction, but somewhere in-between my naked body and empty eyes you mistook the lust for love, because the way you were brought up was to always do the right thing, and fix those that are broken. Little did you know that you were trying to defuse a time bomb in an impossible race.
