OH. MY. GOD!!!
I haven't been here for a while. I just saw this and Oh my God!!! 😫❤️
Thank you my lovely Hilde! This is amazing! I'm actually inspired to write again!
Just in case no one has told you this today, I'm so proud of you and everything you have endured and achieved. I hope you know how worthy you are and how much you bring to the world. We are so lucky to have you in our fandom! (Share if you'd like to spread the encouragement, but no pressure) 💛
If your MC / OC could be any song or any movie what would it be and why?
Hi!
What an interesting question. I think if Haley could be a song, she would be "Million Reasons" by lady Gaga, because it describes her personality. For a movie, she would be "The worst person in the world".
Hi! In honor of Writer’s Love Day I wanted to stop by to tell you how much I like your fics! 🤩
I think of Here For You more often than I should😅, that cliffhanger is just… 🤯🤯🤯 I really love the premise of the series and the writing is just amazing! 😍
And a special shoutout to How to Spend a Night in Miami, because Haley convincing “Dr. Morals and Principles” to cuddle in Miami… what an icon she is. 🙌🏻
I know you haven’t been active lately but I just wanted to thank you for sharing your stories and talent with us. ❤❤❤
Aaaahhhh!! 😍 This made me so happy! Thank you so much! It means a lot to know you enjoy my fics, I really appreciate it.
Hopefully I will be active again in the near future and start writing again. Thanks again for your message. 🥹❤️❤️❤️
Ah, that’s such a loaded question, sweetheart. I hope I can do it justice, and there is no easy answer.
First, yes. I absolutely believe in love, however, maybe not in the way many imagine love to be. We tend to focus on romantic love, and while that love can just take our breath away (and lead us to the deepest despair), it’s only one type of love, and it is no more worthy of recognition than all others. But, since that’s what most people are referring to when they ask this question, let’s concentrate on that first.
Do I believe it exists? Yes, I do. Is it rare in its truest form? Absolutely. I think that’s largely because we’re so anxious to find “true love” that we often convince ourselves that we’ve found it when that’s just not true. Do I think some people are lucky enough to find the real thing? Of course. Do I think “true love” has to be forever? No, I don’t. If we are doing life right, we should be constantly evolving and changing, and sometimes, that means we need to let go of people and things that will no longer serve us and bring us to our highest selves.
I saw a quote recently that I will mangle, but it said true love is not commitment to accept someone as they are, it is a commitment to accept them as they grow and change. To be open to loving that person for who they are today, and who they will be tomorrow. It’s a plan to grow and evolve together, and recommit to each other, over and over again. Do I think that’s common? No. Do I think it’s attainable? Yes, I do.
I have been fortunate enough to experience love several times in my life, so I know the bitter and the sweet. I wish I had found a love like those I write about – though – let me be clear, I know that if that type of love exists it is the rarest of rare. Life is not meant to be fantasy.
While I don’t regret any time I’ve experience love, I regret that I allowed myself to stay in situations that were no longer good for me far longer than I should have. I had to learn to forgive myself for that. And while some love ended, I don’t consider it a failure at all. It gave us both what we needed, at the time we needed it, and it allowed us to grow to become the people we needed to be today. I can see the utter beauty in that. Sometimes letting go is the greatest gift we can give, ourselves, and others.
But love in other forms, it exists. It exists each time a parent gives up something they long for to make sure their child has what they need. It happens when a friend takes a call at 2:00 AM because they know you’re in pain. It happens when we laugh so hard we cry to create memories that will last us a lifetime. It happens when we help someone that we know could never repay us, but we help anyway without seeking acknowledgment or celebration, but because we see the humanity in others. It happens anytime someone takes our hand and tells us, we’re not alone. Love exists around each of us each and every day, even when we’re at our lowest and cannot see it there. Later on, when clarity returns, we’ll find it was there all along. Love can be complex, and the loss of it (or loss of what we perceived to be love) can be painful, but it should never intentionally hurt, it should always heal. Sending the kind of love that a mere stanger a world away can send your way today in abundance. My DM is always open if you need an ear. I wish there were a way to send a hug. Xox Stay strong my friend.
Oh, one more thing, the greatest love of all truly occurs the day we learn to love ourselves. It took me so long to get there, and some day I am kinder to myself than others, but please… be kind to you. You deserve it. 💕

Paring: Ethan Ramsey x F! MC (Haley Rochester) x M! OC (Marvin Kutner)

Summary: When a patient recognizes Haley from a party long ago, Ethan realizes she has her own way of moving on.
A/N 1. So, instead of writing a proposal, I decided to write this, which was much way more fun, lol. I now present to you; The Jealous Ethan Ramsey.
A/N 2. You can find their Miami story here.
“I'm sorry, have we met before? You look really familiar.”
The question wiped the smile off Haley’s face as the good-looking patient eyed her curiously.
“Um…No, I don’t think so.” She averted her eyes and pretended to be busy reading the chart.
“Are you sure? Cause I know I have seen those pretty eyes before.”
The bold dark-haired man raised an eyebrow with a gleam in his eyes, which didn’t escape Ethan’s attention. He hadn’t had the chance to say a word because the patient had started to shamelessly hit on Haley the moment they entered the room. This wasn’t the first time a patient flirted with her, and she always had witty comebacks for those who came on too strongly. So why was she reacting so differently this time? She actually looked uncomfortable… wait, was she blushing?? Some nonsense from a stranger could not have affected her. He knew that for sure. Was she into this guy?
“Aaaaah! I remember now! Haley Rochester. We met at the graduation party at Stanford!”
Haley let out a nervous laugh.
“Oh, yes. Of course. Marvin.”
“At your service. If you didn't remember me, I would have been very disappointed. We had a pretty memorable night.”
Haley swallowed hard, not knowing how to react.
Ethan cleared his throat,
“Mr. Kutner, we need to talk about your symptoms.” He said with an assertive tone, putting an end to the incredibly annoying conversation, at least for him.
The younger doctor handled Ethan the chart as she tried not to make eye contact with him. The attending's expression was unreadable, but Haley could tell he was fuming by his pressed lips and the way his nostrils were flaring. Although she was utterly embarrassed, the sight of Ethan seething with jealousy was oddly satisfying.
…
“I didn't take you for a one-night stand person.”
Ethan couldn’t hold it back any longer as they exited the patient’s room.
“Does that bother you?”
Haley replied dryly, the same way she had been acting since he put an abrupt end to their relationship by running off to Amazon. Knowing that he deserved it, did nothing to alleviate the pain it caused him.
“There are many things you don't know about me. Sleeping around is my way to get over a breakup and move on.”
Looking at Ethan who was trying and failing miserably to stay calm, the intern continued to torture,
“Oh, and don't worry, you’ve met him. Nice guy”.
That was the last straw. Ethan immediately caught her impression. Of course, it was the scalpel jockey. He’d been chasing her since their first day of residency and Ethan had never seen him give up. So he was the guy holding her at night? Touching her? Kissing her? Making her scream as Ethan did? The mere thought of it was making him sick.
“That's enough!"
His hoarse voice made it clear how much he was hurting. Haley didn't dare to say anything else.
“Page me when you get the lab results.”
With that, he fled the office and banged the door closed behind him.
…
Ethan stood quietly on the rooftop. Their favorite spot and usual meeting place before he blew everything. He had kissed her to oblivion after their first time in Miami; the night they spent only kissing and cuddling, a middle ground between Ethan’s persistence on his principles and their longing for each other. He smiled briefly, remembering being close to her. Inhaling her scent, gazing into her eyes and touching her lips with his. It was all gone now.
Was it worth it? The unbearable pain of losing her to someone else?
“I thought I'd find you here.”
Haley’s soft voice pulled him out of his thoughts, which he didn’t appreciate. He’d rathered being alone with thoughts of Haley than being near her as nothing more than a colleague.
“I told you to page me, not to follow me to the damn rooftop.”
Haley flinched at his harsh tone but didn’t back down.
“I'm sorry… about what I said.”
“You can do whatever you want, with whomever you want. None of my business.”
“It wasn't true.”
She could see the momentarily shock on Ethan's face.
“I didn't even think about anyone else. I still don't.”
Ethan was relieved, to the point he didn’t care if Haley could see it. He wanted her to see it. She was his. He needed her to know even if he couldn’t say it out loud, and he was lucky that the woman in front of him was never afraid to speak her mind,
“You are the most incredible man. How can I ever forget you?”

We are fighting for human rights, for women rights in Iran, my friends have been arrested and killed on the streets and in the prisons, and what does US government do? Funds Iran's criminal regime right now so that they can kill more of us?!! Repress us even more?!!
The Iranian protesters being called Islamophobic is like when black people of America stand up for themselves and are called anti-white. Not all Muslims in Iran are against freedom and many of them are actually standing with the protesters the way not all white people in America are racist. but the protest is against those who are using their religion as a tool to shut others down and beat them into submission.
The people of Iran shouldn’t have to be Muslims and abide by Islamic rules to be alive.
There is also the fact that not all Muslim believe and abide by all the rules. Not all Muslim women wear hijabs so if this was really about Islam, those people would be safe, which is absolutely not the case. Religion is a very personal thing, and should not be forced upon people.
Hijab may be a sign of religious freedom in the west but in Iran, for most people Hijab has become a uniform of oppression.
Many people are warping what these protests that are now happening in Iran stand for. Just know that the real reason they are happening is because the police of Iran Brutality murdered a 22 year old girl who was wearing the most normal version of the hijab that Iranian women wear.
