Bellville
--funnest bars. all over rue de belville or rue jean-pierre timbaud (triplettes, bellevilloise, les piaules, one near couronnes that looks like a greenhouse from the outside serves punch bowls, l’alimentation gĂ©nĂ©ral, etc.)Â
--Parc de Buttes-Chaumont is the perfect place to take a day trip iykwimÂ
RĂ©publique / OberkamfÂ
--RĂ©publique square is where you can go to watch skaters, sit, smoke, chill.
--Lots of cool bars in this area, cheap restaurants, cheap vintage shopping, people watching
--La Gaîte Lyric : if you can go to a show/exhibition here do
Canal St. Martin
--Point ÉphĂ©mère: eat, drink, see an exhibition or concert here if you can, go either way. It’s right on the canal and crawling with the people you wish you were friends with.Â
--La Ratonde is a cool restaurant, there are also lots of cafes and even one library on boats chilling in the canal, in the summer you can rent small boats/paddle boats and go out on the canal yourself
--Pic nick in along the canal with your fondest lover trust meÂ
Le Marais
--Centre Pompidou, Musée de Picasso
--Jewish quarter aka the best falafel, shopping, chic people watchingÂ
--Literally tons of good restaurants but most likely a little more expensive
Montmartre
--Walk around and get lost in the neighborhood. cutest and prettiest area in Paris. tiny but delicious restaurants tucked away all over the place, lots of pizza.
--Sacre Coeur
--Espace Dali Â
Pigalle
--Moulin Rouge, fun bars, music/guitar shops
Le Quartier Latin
--Bars, food, fun to walk around. Be careful of overpriced places though because this is also a touristy area.Â
Saint Germain de Pres
--Unique shopping, eating, intimate bars, but on the expensive side
--Chez Georges : go here with no more than 3 people you enjoy and get wasted on cheap wine and cheese do it trust me
--Le Louvre : closed on Tuesdays, busy on WednesdaysÂ
--MusĂ©e d’Orsay : just the bestÂ
--Palais du Tokyo : the other best
--Musée de l’Orangerie
--Musée d’Art Moderne
--Musée de Picasso
--Espace Dali
--Musée Rodin
--MusĂ©e GallieraÂ
--Le Palais de L’Élysée
--Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, Le Bon Marché, BHV Marais : huge department stores with very expensive, chic brands (Gucci, Chloé, Chanel, YSL, but also like Urban, Tommy, American Apparel, etc. + there’s usually a building designated entirely to food which is obviously unreal, go)
--Rue de Passy : chic af but also quite expensive
--Rue de Rennes, Rue de Rivoli : basic stores but lots of them (H&M, Forever 21, Zara, Brandy, etc.)Â
--Parc Monceau : 17ème, great for running, reading, best place to find chic old people in amazing clothes
--La Tour Eiffel : pic nick on the champs de mars when it’s warm, very touristy area obviously aka don’t eat around here
--Le Jardin du Luxembourg
--Invalides Â
--Tour Montparnasse : buy a ticket and go to the top if you want the best view of Paris all over, better than climbing la tour eiffel in my opinionÂ
--Notre DameÂ
--Shakespeare and Co. (bookstore)Â
--Sunside Sunset : very cool jazz bar near ChatĂŞletÂ
--Colette : very cool place to shop for unique gifts, magazines, pictures, etc.
--Cafe Chilango, Fajitas : good mexican foodÂ
--Paperboy, Ob La Di Cafe, Marcel, Cafe Charlot, Obermama, Radiodays Cafe, The Hood : all good breakfast, coffee, brunch, etc.Â
--Street crepes are never bad
--LadurĂ©e, Angelina, Pierre HermĂ©, CafĂ© Pouchkine : pastires on pastriesÂ
