oh, who do we have here? wait a second — isn’t that PARK JAEWON? y'know, the TWENTY-FOUR year old BARTENDER who hails from GWANGJU, SOUTH KOREA! they look so much like KIM NAMJOON that i nearly got the two of them confused. watch out, though, because i heard something about HIM; something about BEING DISOWNED BY HIS FAMILY AND MOVING TO TOKYO FOR A FRESH START.
hi! i’m nan (she/her or they/them), i’m twenty-one years old, and here is my sad son, jaewon.
jaewon’s life doesn’t get interesting until he’s nineteen years old
that’s when he came out to his family as bisexual
and while they weren’t thrilled, they figured they could learn to live with it, after all he was their family and they love him
however, two years later, at age twenty-one he told them he was dropping out of college to pursue music
that apparently was the last straw and they cut him off, throwing him out on his own
he moved to tokyo for a fresh start at age twenty-two
he plays music still, but barely
most of his time is spent either working as a bartender, or spent in a depressive haze where he really doesn’t get anything done
he still longs for his family, though he knows it’s unlikely they’ll ever accept him
he tries to stay positive, even though he’s lonely he recognizes that he’s lucky he got a fresh start in tokyo
but he still needs a hug so someone pls give that to him
my family had some surprises for me so my introduction post will have to wait until i get a chance to sit and write it all out. i can introduce him/plot less formally thru ims though so maybe like this and i'll im you :]?
