Peter Wang was in the back of the third floor when the Parkland shooter started shooting at the crowd.
He was probably without a doubt terrified but instead of running, he held a door open and yelled for his classmates to run. He saved so many lives doing that.
The shooter saw him, Peter slammed the doors shut and started to run. He was shot twelve times. Four of those hit his head, killing him instantly. Any of the twelve shots could've been fatal.
Peter was a member of the JROTC and sacrificed his life for his classmates. His mother said she was proud of him but also wished she didn't raise him to be so brave.
He was fifteen and posthumously accepted to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He was given and buried with a Medal of Heroism as well as given a heroes send off at his funeral.

“The sun,--the bright sun, that brings back, not light alone, but new life, and hope, and freshness to man--burst upon the crowded city in clear and radiant glory. Through costly-coloured glass and paper-mended window, through cathedral dome and rotten crevice, it shed its equal ray.”
